he took her hand and walked back to the carriage and opened the door. he helped her into it.

she nodded kinda listening to him "i bet" she said as she stopped and pulled one off the shelf. "thank you" she turns to him smiling. she walks around looking for a quiet place to curl up and read, she frowned a little. she walked over to a big window and turned to look at him. "is it possible to put a nice reading nook here?" she asked him "like a nice small platform comfy cozy with tons of pillows and such so i can read, the view out the window is pretty, perfect for reading" she asked him. "please?"

Elizabeth got into the carriage.

James chuckled a bit. He went to a small pair of doors. He opened them to reveal an indoor balcony. There was a table and chairs. There were some decorative pillows.
"Will this do?"

she walks over and steps in. "um, yeah" she says but she really wanted one by that window "this will be fine" she gave him a smile. she went over to the pillows and plopped down and opened her book and layed back and started to read.

James opened a window that was like a pair of doors.
"Like these windows?"

Elizabeth was in the carriage.

she pulled her eyes away from the book to look at where he was standing. "yeah" she says to him "thank you" she blew him a kiss and a wink. she went back to reading.

Brandon got into the carriage and told the driver to back to the house. He looked at Elizabeth. "so how are you feeling find out about having a baby?" he aske her

James chuckled a bit and sat at the little table.

"A little nervous for starters."
Elizabeth admitted.

Brandon moved over next to her "why are you nervous?" he asked her

"well if im missing you know where to find me" she says as she looked over her book at him.

Upon receiving word of the ball that was going to be held, Serena finally arrived at the mansion. She saw several creatures passed out on the grass and her eyes rolled. Serena walked into the large house and looked around for a familiar face. She wasn’t too big on friends, but she did know some people. Serena was dress in a raven black dress that stuck tight to her body. She knew she had arrived late, but was hoping there was still some party left to attend.

Tala was enjoying the ball. She danced with a lot of the men there. She was resting at a table munching on some food. She looked around. she was happy that she was able to attend.

"about the baby. I'm just nervous."
Elizabeth told him.

James tried not to roll his eyes.

Eric had since resumed his duties as host after Elizabeth Brandon Kali and James had left. Things had finally begun to quiet down. He made sure the guests had what they needed and such. He sighed a bit.

Serena sighed as she didn’t see anyone she knew then went to sit down. She found an empty chair near another young woman. She looked at her “hello, I am Serena. Who are you?” She asked looking Tala over. She had never seen a woman like this before.

She frowned.

Tala looked at the women talking to her "oh" she says "im tala" she says to Serena. "its nice to meet you" she smiled at her

Serena watched her “pleasure” she said then looked around again. She saw another interesting looking woman who smelled of fish (angel) and another man who was wondering about and talking to guests (eric). “So have I missed a lot? I’ve just arrived” she asked Tala.

Tala nodded "quite a bit actually, drama from a family, not mine, they arent here thank god" she said "someone elses" she says "oh that guy there walking around thats Eric the host of the ball, need anything just talk to him he can get it for you" she told serena.

Serena nodded “ahh this Eric, he is the one who sent the invites I suppose” she said. “Please excuse me” she told Tala then walked over to the host. “Hello sir, Eric is it? Yes I’ve just arrived. My brother should also be here soon. We are going to be needing a place to stay. Do you know where people like us can stay?” She asks him.

James tried not to roll his eyes.

Eric blinked. He stopped in his tracks. He turned and saw a guest talking to him. She had asked him a question.
"There are guests rooms on the upper floors."
He pointed towards a staircase.

he kissed her hands "you will make a great mother" he told her "our baby girl will be perfect" he says to her

she was back to her reading. "are you going to sit there and watch me read?" she asked him smiling.

Serena looked upstairs “good, I’ll be retiring for the night since seeing as your party has only proven to be exceptionally boring so far” she said then walked away. She didn’t know why she bothered to come, she didn’t see anyone worth talking to there. Serena grabbed her bags from the carriage from which she arrived then proceeded to one of the free rooms.
