ALRIGHT - GOTTA READ THE WHOLE THING IM ALL OVER THE PLACE

So Im absolutely horrible at making interest check look pretty but Im just trying to get an idea into your head...

If you've ever read the Warriors series you know kind of what Im talking about, a small to large group of cats all living together

however I dont know if I want to take on the whole, territories, approach

I would rather a completely non logical group of big cats all living together forrrr a reason that has yet to be determined...

Maybe it could be like, they all protect a small/large group of humans they have befriended? or maybe this could be some war style rp where they are sent on assassination missions (either killing other cats or humans)

Like this could go a million different ways... I just want to play my avatar.

-WWI or WWII assassin cats
-Future WW assassin cats
-Humans are replaced by cats, and they are at war.
-Just a pride of mismatched cats livin life
-(heck Id do just a regular Lion Pride rp)
-Roman Gladiator Cats
-Throw an Idea at me Im all ears.

Through all the effort you have ahead of you in this, you did not consult me or seek me out, @Tsukai? You know well I would be interested, perhaps the most interested of any on the entirety of the forum. As a result you have my attention.

From the sound of what you intend, you intend something more cooperative among the players' characters while also existing in a human world, which immediately calls to mind a canon alike The Pride of Baghdad. Contrarily you seem potentially interested in conflict among the players, which brings first and potentially most important question forward.

What is your own personal vote for? A world with humans and felines in a sort of magical deviation? I say I prefer that narrative, speaking for myself. It would be more interesting to me if the characters existed around people, even if people were say, never the focus.

However answering your question, I don't want any pvp conflict... The gladiator cats was more of an allied attempt to kill gladiators... Which is my personal favorite.

But yes anything with cats and humans would be fine with me no matter how big or small the emphasis. That's why I left it so malleable and open ended.

However I don't intend anything more magical than the sentience of the cats we play.

PM me the plot you'd like to follow, I'm all ears.

I am not so certain why you would assume that would be the outcome, @Tsukai. All the same, I believe we should continue in the open with the discussion in the hopes that it might garner more interest and comment from potential members.

For myself, the fact that they are sentient is enough as well. I am not so certain something as closed as a gladiatorial setting would work well, I suspect it would narrow matters down far too much. I would say to pose something on a larger scale. Since there is magic realism involved and the goal is to play actual felines, mayhap it would be wise to try and define just what that is like.

For example, is it just these felids? Is it all felines? All carnivores? All mammals? So on and so forth. I believe it would make more sense if it were just a setting where the various, greater and lesser alike, were intelligent so as to keep the focus on them and the human element.

I believe we would be in need of more interested parties before we can even settle on any one idea, @SleepingSilence. Unfortunately this seems not have to received the traffic or attention it deserves as a more original thought and experiment. No less, we would do well to hear back from @Tsukai.

This is one of those matters where we would do well to keep formulating in the meantime than merely shelving it because it has, as of yet, not seen a third interested party. I note this because if we continue a process of merely putting aside topics which do not receive immediate attention, we are not bound to go anywhere in most any attempt, @Tsukai.
