no. Reactors only explode in science fiction. This goes double for fusion reactors and even more for 'cold' fusion reactors (fusion reactors that can achieve fusion at room temperatures). If it did happen, the character in question would just eject the reactor; the most you'd cause is a meltdown to occur, and these are not explosive in nature.
EDIT: You may be able to do something like that with exotic particles fired from a particle accelerator cannon (or even 'mundane' particles), but that's dipping in the realm of Hard Science. Hard Science is a no-no in a Multiverse setting.
