That was part of a tournament when they were both wiling participants and she was promptly brought back to life. She has no hard feelings for him...but he did cheat, using a gun and being in a cold environment. Big meanie cheater.

Now i wonder if a depleted uranium kinetic penetrator could make a fission reactor go boom if lodged in. Because that would mean that most of those energy-weapon wielding characters would have a sweet spot to aim at for any characters with access to such ammunition.

Laser/energy weapons are so silly-willy.

For the most part, no. Reactors only explode in science fiction. This goes double for fusion reactors and even more for 'cold' fusion reactors (fusion reactors that can achieve fusion at room temperatures). If it did happen, the character in question would just eject the reactor; the most you'd cause is a meltdown to occur, and these are not explosive in nature.

EDIT: You may be able to do something like that with exotic particles fired from a particle accelerator cannon (or even 'mundane' particles), but that's dipping in the realm of Hard Science. Hard Science is a no-no in a Multiverse setting.

Thanks for clearing that up. Alas, far too often my knowledge extends no further than middle/high school lessons plus a bit of my own research, which is done on spot most of the time, so im glad to know there's someone willing to correct me. ^_^

Hm, seems I was incorrect in the amount of high-tier characters in this RP.

However, so many intermediates, lol.

Intermediate seems overall better, leaves you open to more fights, between high and low.

Mr Skallagrim.

Ze faction

As for the character, he'll be up in a few hours. He's a Null unit, and will be up for hire against anyone who isn't affiliated with Paradiso.

Clearly not a Spelling expert, either. It's physics. Psychics have mind powers.

Serious question, but I'm currently engineering a high-tier character to be used in those 'titan scale' battles I proposed a while ago (and because I need some form of excuse to utilize a Zoid-like character in a fight because childhood favorites are an excellent source of inspiration).

However, I'm not good at creating such characters, since I find them unusually difficult to use, and that I'm more experienced in smaller scale fights (and because measuring the power of a simple .50 BMG round fired from the Ma Deuce is much easier to work with and figure out than trying to see which planet-destroying Spirit Bomb of Winsauce attack is strongest).

Anyway, is fooling around with wormholes considered intermediate tier, high tier or completely overpowered? Or does it depend at which level said 'wormhole-foolery' is taking place at? o_O

This is actually my first foray into "Hi, I'm hella OP. Let's fight and fuck up this city/planet now"-level characters. And Ysolda isn't even a world-ruiner. City, sure. World, no. I also typically stick to lower-tier stuff. Hell, I don't think I ever made a character with his own space-ship before, either (ala S'kara). Let alone one with 40 nuke missiles, 50 autocannons that fire 300mm shells, and twelve laser cannons. He could glass a city, and ruin an entire nation with those armaments, you know?

So... I really got no advice for you. My apologies.

I have been deceived; I was under the impression Beta knew all things high tier.

The agony.
