Jack watched as the dragon was eventually calmed down thanks to Julia and everyone else helping. It was an easy task and it didn't take much effort on their part. After Julia spoke to the dragon and explained why it may have gone berserk they left for the lalafell city once again. After they finally reached the first city he took a good look around admiring the beautiful sights. It was when the chief came and spoke that he took notice. He listened to Julia speak to him then she gave him some money and told him he had time to explore the city and get whatever he wanted. Before he did though Kiyu came up to them to great them all. He looked like a lalafell and one of the races Ming was all in one person.

"Hello Kiyu, I'm Jack. Nice to meet you."

He smiled then looked around the city a little more. He didn't really need any weapons or armour since he was his own weapon and he could make armour from his own powers. So he instead decided to wait where he was until they were ready to leave.

Grace looked at Bahamut with a look of shear confusion on her face.

"what are you talking about 2130? its 2125 yeah final fantasy are having problems but they haven't shut down at least not yet and the first sequel to Gods at War is due out in a few months they wanted to build up a strong loyal fan base before starting work on a sequel and its been in production for a little over a year now."

Bahamut

Bahamut listened to Grace and shook his head quickly. 2125? That was impossible. That was 925 years behind from the current year. It made no sense. Bahamut slowly turned to Julia and recalled what she said when she said she had summoned them all to save this world and thus save all worlds. Slowly Bahamut started to question if this was actually a game or not. The "NPCs weren't really acting as NPCs normally should do, there was no way to log out which games like that were illegal. Bahamut took a deep breathed and sighed. "Grace, I'm from 3050. The sequel came out in 2026, Titans at War. If you are from 2025, then this makes no sense. Have you ever heard of a game called Elder Scrolls End World? It came out in 3048. It is the MMORPG that I play." He tried to think of a logical reason for this. Perhaps Grace was just pulling a stupid prank on him but if she was being serious then that would mean they had been pulled together from different timelines. He looked to Ming carefully and gave a wide smile. If this was real, then that was the real, actual Ming! How was this possible though? It would require incredible magic power to do that kind of summoning. Then again lalafell was one of the most magically advanced races and she was the librarian of knowledge so it was theoretically possible but the likeliness of it was so rare.

Grace continued to listened to Bahamut this seamed impossible but if what he was saying was true this raised multiple questions most important amung them is whats going to happen to their bodys while their avatars are trapped here.

"please tell me your joking thers no way that's possible right?. I have heard of elder scrolls series they have a MMORPG out based in a hell dimension where your character gets trapped on one of its adventures during the totorial i think it called elder scrolls deadlands or something im not sure i haven't tried it yet since it only came out last week but it does look interesting i was thinking about checking it out but i haven't had chance yet."

Bahamut

Bahamut couldn't believe what was happening. This was incredible. They were from different timelines. It shouldn't be possible, but with magic, he guessed anything was possible. He smiled when he mentioned the new...well old for him Elder Scrolls Game and shook his head. "It is alright but they get a lot better after that one but sadly I am not joking. I honestly don't know what else to say, I'm completely shocked. This shouldn't be possible."

Bahamut looked to Julia again, wondering if she could explain what was going on and provide some answers as to how this has happened. If he was here though then what happened to his body? He was no longer connected to the game anymore, his avatar had just disappeared. So what happened to his actual body?

[The One]

Ming

Ming watched as Julia calmed down the dragon with the help of everyone else. She listened to Julia's explanation before following her to the lalafell city. She listened to Julia and the chief talk before looking at Kiyu. Immediately her attention was brought to his double ears. She watched as he introduced himself then listened to him as he spoke to her.

"Hello Kiyu, my name is Ming. It is a pleasure meeting you here too. I thought I would never see my own kind in this world. I am glad that I was wrong. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do."

She bowed to him respectfully then looked to Julia. She was ready to leave at any time. She was doing a good job to tune out and ignore the two idiots talking about games. Her only concern right now was to get on with the mission. She took notice of what Kiyu said though when he spoke about the Enforcers. She wondered why he sounded so harsh towards them but she was sure she would find out when she met them first hand.

Julia

Julia smiled brightly as soon as she saw her friend, Kiyu showed up. As far as she was aware they were meeting in Salazo but apparently not. She allowed him to introduce himself. When he had spoken to Fiona she smiled glad that he was still willing to join them and help them all. The more help they had the better.

"It's nice to see you too Kiyu. I thought I was meeting you in Salazo. I'm glad you are here to join us."

She turned to Grace and Bahamut as they spoke to each other, and hearing them talk made her realise what was happening. Grace was from a game from Gods at War in 2125 while Bahamut was from Elder Scrolls End Game. She needed to go back to the library to confirm what she was thinking. She looked around and smiled at Kiyu and Fiona.

"I need to go to the library for a moment. Hopefully, it will clear everything up once I am back."

As soon as she said that Julia closed her eyes and then disappeared. She reappeared in front of the Library of Knowledge. She knew this was going to be time-consuming but it was worth it if she could clear everything up and stop them from acting like this was some game. She walked in and sat herself down on the table.

"Bring me the files of Gods at War 2123 and Elder Scrolls End World 3038"

With that several large files appeared out of nowhere. She looked through them as quickly as she could looking specifically for what universe and world there were from. As soon as she brought she got the files from those universes.

"Bring me files of the player's avatar Grace from Gods at War and Bahamut from Elder Scrolls End World universe 6255."

Once again two files appeared in front of her. She looked at them both them smiled. This was what she needed. She grabbed the files and teleported back to the lalafell city.

"John, Jolene, both of you are 25 years old, both human. I must of brought your avatars while you were playing the game that is why you think that this world is just one big game. It isn't. I have your personal files here if you want to read them."

She handed them each their own files then stood back. This should be enough to clear all confusion.

"Now, we really have to go we haven't got time to waste. Next we need to travel to Salazo going through Jeul."

As soon as they were done reading the files she used magic to put them back into the library. She then lead them out of the city. There were in a large wasteland. She looked around and as she did she moved through slowly. Everything was dead. No plants, grass or trees were growing here.



"This place was a warzone. Of course, the Lalafell were forced to get involved considering it was right outside the city. Many died, and all because of a damn Law Enforcer. Do the slightest thing wrong and they'll take you in. Even if it's just littering. All crimes are taken extremely seriously here. Before the battle, this place was beautiful. Flowers blooming, trees, grass as far as the eye could see. An entire forest. Anyway, from here we continue forward until we reach the town. Just be careful though, creatures may attack us. They aren't like Rethynth who you can just sing to and they'll go to sleep. Here, we will actually need to fight, and if you have to, kill."

She gave a small smile and continued to walk. It was then that everyone would have heard a voice in their heads, it was almost like a whisper which made Julia look around in confusion.

'Be careful, you're in danger. Watch where you step and watch out'

Julia looked around but could see nothing. She blinked a few times and spoke slowly.

"Can anyone else hear that?"

She looked around once more before continuing to walk. Those who could see spirits would be able to see a dark spirit fox following them but Julia wasn't able to see it and just kept walking.



What she did notice however was a raven that was slowly flying overhead, she looked up and stared at it. As she did her eyes watched the area cautiously. Once they hit halfway, the ground shook softly. It seemed like an earthquake that had only just reached them. So she ignored it for the time being. However as the ground shook again after a few more steps and this time more violently, Julia quickly stopped.

"Is it me, or is the earthquake getting closer?"

As if to answer her question, the earth shook again this time it felt like they were in the middle of the earthquake, it shook so much that Julia fell on her backside. Quickly she stood herself up and started to run.

"RUN! MOVE! GET OUT THE WAY!"

She gained some distance between the last point where the earth shook before a giant worm with thick armour burst through the ground with a loud scream so loud it was almost deafening. It then dug back into the ground instantly and burrowed around the area. Julia let out a soft sigh before speaking once more.



"It's an Apocalypse Worm. Be very careful. There is nothing that can break through it's armour. It's too thick and the moment you make a dent in the armour it regenerates and fixes itself. Nobody has managed to kill one yet, I guess we'll be the first."

Julia felt the Apocalypse Worm about to shoot up again where she was standing, she immediately jumped back and the moment it shot up a huge spear made out of purple magic appeared out of nowhere and stabbed into it, however, it had armour over it's entire body, and the attack did nothing to hurt it. The worm looked at Julia and screamed loudly. It shot deadly acid at her which she rose a purple barrier to stop however the acid tore right through her magic, of course it did. She jumped back and then watched it as the worm buried under once more.

Bahamut

Bahamut listened to Julia and slowly took the file. He quickly read it over and let out a soft sigh. This confirmed it. There was no way that a game would have all of this personal information about her. Where she lived, when she was born, her parents, everything about her. Once he had finished reading it the file disappeared. He listened to her and nodded. He followed her outside the city and listened to her explanation of how this desert was once a thriving forest which got destroyed by Law Enforcers. "That's crazy. To go so far to destroy an entire forest, killing everyone and everything in it. No wonder nobody respects or likes the law enforcers." He got his spear staff ready just in case they had to fight. While they walked he heard a voice in his head and after a quick look around he saw what appeared to be a dark spirit fox. Upon hearing Julia's question he spoke. "Yeah, it's some kind of dark spirit fox following us." He turned to the fox as he walked and spoke to it directly. "Who or what are you and what do you want?" It was most likely a nogitsune as that was what dark spirit foxes were. So he didn't trust it at all. Moments later though he felt an earthquake. Julia didn't seem to be concerned about it so he wasn't concerned either.

A few minutes later though another earthquake hit, this time it was closer. He was about to answer Julia's question when immediately after the earth shook again. Bahamut quickly jumped out of the way and as he did a huge armoured worm appeared out of the ground. Hearing Julia's concern he got ready to fight. He saw that Julia's attack did nothing to hurt the creature at all and it's acid was able to melt through magic. He flew into the air so he had more moveability then quickly created a rune in mid-air. Suddenly the rune turned to ice complete and then a moment later a huge ice phoenix shot out.



The phoenix flew around the air freezing the ground and whenever the worm popped up it shot icy waves and blasts at it to freeze parts of the armour in which Bahamut would summon meteorites to smash the armour to pieces. He used fire while the Phoenix used ice. His plan was to used the hot and cold effects on him to completely shatter the armour. The Pheonix would send extremely sharp ice spikes at the worm and cause the icy ground to shoot up at it whenever it could. The more it froze the ground the harder it would to move around. It made sure the ice was incredibly thick and covered in multiple layers of Bomb Shelter Ice.

Kiyu

Kiyu was glad that everything was solved now, he couldn't imagine what it would be like hearing them talk about games for god knows how long. Once everyone was ready he followed Julia out of the city and into the desert. He already knew how this forest became a desert and it was one of the many reasons why he hated the Law Enforcers. They made this area extremely dangerous to travel but they had no choice. They had to pass through the desert if they were going to get to Salazo. Luckily he had no problems on his way here so hopefully, there would be none on the way back. After a few minutes of walking, he heard a faint voice in his head. Julia couldn't see anything but she had heard it too. Bahamut though, he had heard it and could describe what it was. A dark fox spirit, that didn't sound very friendly. "Samurai Art, Eyes of Truth" His eyes glowed and he looked around again. Yes, there it was. He could see it now. "I have never seen this creature before. It isn't your typical dark spirit fox. They are called nogitsune but whatever it is we need to be wary about it."

He continued forward and felt the earthquake. He knew that this area had plenty of earthquakes so it was probably nothing. He continued to walk until another earthquake came. He knew that this was not good. Immediately after a third earthquake hit. This time it was right below them. He teleported back knowing that a small jump wouldn't be enough to get out of the way fast enough. It was an apocalypse worm. An extremely powerful and dangerous creature. Julia tried and failed to hurt it but Bahamut had the right idea. He was at least breaking it's armour and he had called more help. It was time for him to fight. He held out his hand and drew his a magic sword appeared out of thin air.



He held it tightly then shouted out loudly. "Samurai Art, Soul Slash" The moment the worm popped up again and swung his sword and sent a wave of spiritual energy that would slash and cut it's soul doing extreme internal damage to it. Then he stabbed the sword into the ground. "Samurai Art, burn down." He sent mass amounts of hot fire into the ground to overheat the armour then the moment it came up again he pointed his sword at it and shouted out once more. "Samurai Art, temperature overload!" The worm would explode in a fiery explosion hopefully destroying all of it's armour. Once done he jumped back and waited for the smoke to clear again to see what would happen. Hopefully, it would have done a decent amount of damage to it.

Apocalypse worm

The apocalypse worm screamed in pain as Bahamut and Kiyu attacks destroyed its armor leaving it defenceless it used it sound magic to amplify its pain filled scream making it load enough to shatter ice. The apocalypse worm dove underground the apocalypse suddenly any magic users would sense a anti teleportation barrier appear around the entire area meanwhile the ground above would become incredibly hot as the sand turned into glass then another earthquake broke apart the newly formed glass sending multiple dozens of glass shards flying into the air. As the shards flew into the air they floating around Julia and the others the apocalypse worm fired a light blast at one of the shards and suddenly the light blast was refracted and focused then redirected and shot out multiple directions hitting multiple of shards flying around. After a few seconds dozens of light beams where flying everything where as the shards shot them at the team and another shard intercepted and redirected the blast at someone else. by this point Julia, Fiona, Grace, Laoveen, Jack, Ming,Kiyu and Bahamut had multiple light blast heading right for them from all directions each one was now powerful enough to powerful enough to shatter even the most powerful magic barriers. While this was going on the worm began forming a glass dome around the area by the time it was finished it came back up out of the ground and let out a super sonic death scream the glass dome created a echo chamber further amplifing the power of the sound wave. Finally the worm opened is mouth creating a large purple gass bomb comprised of some of the most potent and deadly poison in the world one whiff and you'd be enough to kill you in a matter of minutes.

Laoveen

Laoveen was currently in the town of Jeul he was planning to meet up with Julia in Salazo but the situation was far to dire for that especially with Rethynth now getting effected by the cracks. As soon as he felt that he decided to go and meet up with her sooner rather then later on his way to the lalafell city he decided to stop off in the desert city since he haven't been home in years. That's when he felt the earthquakes then saw an apocalypse worm shoot out of the ground that could only mean someone was under attack and considering he knew Julia recently left the forest of life it could only be Julia and her team. Seeing this he jump into action or specificly dove into action. Laoveen sunk into the ground and swam though the earth until he reached the Apocalypse worm. As soon as he did he dug up out of the ground close to the edge of the glass dome and immediately a look of shear horror appeared on his face as he saw the glass dome and the light beams and poison gass it was clear this was an Elder Worm. This was serious no one has ever survived an encounter with one of these monsters. Laoveen had to act quick as the shards already started firing light blast at him. He jump out of the way as he began to transformed into his Behemoth form Laoveen used a thunder clap and used his magic to amplify the sound wave explanationly. As the wave shot though the area it shattered any and all glass it hit. Laoveen then sucked up all the poison gas in the area he then turned that gas into anti toxin and shot back out towards Julia and the others. Laoveen then ran over to Julia he knew any attempt to attack the elder worm by himself would pointless.

Fiona

Fiona heard an unfamiliar voice warning her of danger she saw it was a strange fox she felt the earthquakes and drew her weapons ready for a fight. She saw Bahamut and Kiyu force it to retreat underground. But unfortunately it seems all this was piss it off the worm came back with a combo attack no ordinary apocalypse worm could produce. Fiona dropped her weapons and transformed her body into that of a Echidna.

With her new snake like body she was just barely able to evade the lasers she then screamed as load as she possiblly could in an attempt to counter the elder worms death scream but ultimately it would simply reduce the damage preventing loss hearing lucky Fiona was immune from the poison she looked around to see if anyone needed healing.

Grace

Grace listened to Bahamut and Julia and took the file she began looking though it as they headed off towards the magic city. After looking though the file it was clear this was all real everything Julia said was true once she closed the file it disappeared. Soon after they came to a large desert wasteland after hearing Julias explanation of what happened here she knew these enforcers where going to be trouble.

Grace heard an unfamiliar voice warning her of danger she saw it was a strange fox she felt the earthquakes and drew her weapons ready for a fight. She saw Bahamut and Kiyu force it to retreat underground a few minutes later it returned launched a stupidity op attack all she could manage to do was drop to the curled up like a baby with laid on top of her blocking and deflecting most of the beams all except the low beams aimed at thier feet that manage to slip under her shield. Her priestess armor made her immune to the poison and Fiona reduced the effect of the death wave enough to save her.

Jack was glad that Julia had resolved the issue with Grace and Bahamut. He followed her out of the city and listened to her explanation on the area. He found it surprising that the Law Enforcers would do such a thing. He continued to follow Julia until he heard a voice in his head. He looked around and saw a dark shadow wolf.

"I see it too."

He felt the earthquake but ignored it at first. Then son after he felt another earthquake and then another one a few seconds after. He jumped out of the way and slowly backed away when he saw the huge warm. He watched as Julia, Bahamut and Kiyu all attacked it but it went underground and came back fully regenerated and attacked much more fiercely. Jack had only one option at this point. He sunk into his own shadow and kept jumping into other shadows to constantly avoid the barrage of attacks sent by the worm. Despite being in the shadows he could hear the screams of the warm and he felt his ears ringing. It was extremely loud, deafening even. Once everything was clear Jack came back up and rejoined the others with sheer fear plastered on his face.

Julia

Julia watched as Bahamut and Kiyu attacked the apocalypse worm and seemingly did a decent amount of damage to it. It was then that the worm came back with a deadly attack. Julia had no time to stand there worrying. She knew if she hesitated she would be killed instantly because this was clearly no ordinary Apocalypse Worm but instead it was an Elder Apocalypse Worm. Julia increased her speed using magic as much as she could then leapt up towards the light beams while summoning her sword in mid-air. When she was close enough she grabbed the sword and cut the light beam then made an invisible platform to jump off to strike another one. She kept doing this as fast as she could. She had seen this magic used by a Law Enforcer but Julia didn't think she would need it. She was wrong. The death scream hurt her ears but luckily the scream wasn't as deadly as it should have been thanks to Laoveen. As for the gas, she used magic to cover her mouth and nose while she defended herself.

Bahamut

Bahamut watched as the attacks seemed to scare the monster back underground but he knew it wasn't over yet but he instantly wished it was. He watched as it came back up from the ground with a devastating attack. He wasn't sure how to even begin to stop it until he saw Grace. Instantly he turned into a beetle with his transformation skill then ran under her shield. He would be safe, too small to get struck by the light blast and protected by the shield. Somehow he had survived the attack. When it was over he slowly came out from under the shield and transformed back.

Ming and Kiyu

Ming watched as the worm retreated underground after a barrage of attacks but came back with an even stronger attack than the one they gave it. Ming was not expecting something like this and now instantly understood why this place was so dangerous and why they were chosen. She could only think of one thing that would save her from something this dangerous and that was redirecting the attack back at the worm.

"Samurai Art, Soul Link!"

She linked her soul to the worm so any damage she took, the worm would take for her. She spoke quickly to Kiyu without taking her eyes off the worm.

"Kiyu we need to use Revenge Strike. Let's go! Samurai Art, Revenge Strike!"

Kiyu fearfully watched as the went underground only to come back with an attack so deadly, it could only mean one thing. This was no ordinary worm. This was an Elder Worm. He had been trained as a samurai for most of his life and even he struggled to think of something that would save him. He knew he didn't have much time to react so even though his brain was scrambled, his body just reacted out of instinct. "Samurai Art, Soul Link!" He called out the art as the exact same time as Ming had done. It was then that Ming shouted to him. Instantly, he jumped in the air as high as he could and grabbed Ming's hand then pointed his sword at the worm while he hung. "Samurai Art, Revenge Strike!" With both of them connected and using the same art a powerful blue barrier would surround the two of them completely.

That was as long as he held on to Ming's hand, having a moment of rest he spoke again. "Samurai Art, Air Shield." He stabbed his sword into nothingness then an invisible shield appeared beneath his feet. He stood holding Ming's hand while the barrier absorbed all attacks that were sent by the worm which would constantly be hurt due to Soul Link. It would also give them a separate air in the pocket space. Once the attack was over and the barrier had absorbed as much as it possibly could Kiyu struck the barrier with his sword alongside Ming which activated the Revenge Strike. All the power the barrier absorbed from the light beams and the sound blast would instantly be returned to it's owner but far stronger than it originally was, doing damage directly at the soul. Once the attack was over Kiyu took a deep breath and sighed. "That was definitely not fun." He looked up to the worm to see if their attack worked or not.

Luckily, with the Soul Link and the Revenge Strike, the Elder Worm took so much damage to the soul that it became critically injured with severe internal bleeding. The Elder Worm screamed one last time before digging underground. It knew that with enemies that were able to cut through it's defences were too dangerous to fight and the battle wasn't worth it so it retreated away from them in order to heal.

Julia fell to the floor on her back in exhaustion. She let out a long, heavy sigh before speaking.

"I can hardly believe we actually survived an encounter with an Elder Worm. I am so drained but I know we can't stay here because if we do the Elder Worm could come back when it has healed. We need to get going to Salazo and get out of here as quickly as possible."

She sighed again and slowly rolled herself over then got herself up. With that, she lead them all forward slowly. With the Elder Worm encounter, she had completely forgotten about the dark spirit fox which had disappeared during the fight. Soon after the fight though it reappeared and began to follow close behind them though. It only took a few minutes of walking to finally get to Jeul.



Once there Julia slowly entered and looked around. She gave a smile as a woman came up to her.



"Ah, Judas. I was hoping to see you. How are you? Is Kat alright? We're on our way to see her."

The woman nodded and lead Julia through as she spoke.

"Yes, she's safe. I saw the Elder Worm from here. I am really glad you are safe Julia. I would have helped but I don't have that sort of power or skill but I can at least restore your energy and return you all to travelling health"

Julia nodded softly before Judas cast strong healing magic on everyone, causing their energy and magic to return to normal. Julia sighed as she felt her exhaustion leave her. She stopped by the village exit before looking around once more. There was nothing they needed here and they could pass right through.

"Thank you Judas."

Judas nodded and with that Julia walked on and out of the small village. She looked on to see the beautiful fields that was laid before them and then turned around to speak.

"Next stop, Salazo, the City of Magic. From her hopefully we won't find any more trouble until we reach the next city. It isn't too far from here.

With that Julia lead them outside of the small village heading towards the city of magic.



As they drew closer and closer towards the city the more the environment glowed and radiated magic, so much so you could feel magic within the air and yet they still had some distance to walk.

Grace

Suddenly a beatle ran under her shield she immediately noticed the name above its head Bahamut she gave a gentle smile and a small nod she knew full well a boss this dangerous doesn't exist in most game and their avatars where simply not prepared for this. After the battle was over she came out from under her shield her armor began healing the damage she sustained from the few light blasts that made it under her shield but she decided to cast a healing spell on herself to speed up her recovery. Grace then followed Julia to the desert town unfortunately they didn't have time to stop and rest but luckily Judas cast a recovery spell. Grace could feel her physical and mental exhaustion fade away Grace suddenly felt as relaxed and rejuvenated like she just spent the day at spar. Suddenly Grace felt like she was ready to face this world again. They continued their journey as they came tp a beautiful moonlit meadow just seeing this made her feel at peace.

Fiona

Fiona wastced as the elder worm retreated and somehow they all survived thanks to an old friend unexpectly joining the fight. Fiona picked up her weapons and put them away as she returned to her normal form and followed Julia to Jeul. Once there Judas rejuvenared their fatigue something they desperately needed after running into unexpected obstacles. Once that was taken care off they continued on towards the magic city. Soon enough they reached the radiant meadows the magic city wasn't far now and she knew they had a lot to discuss with kat.

Laoveen

Laoveen watch as the worm retreat he let out a sigh of relief it was a good thing he decided to meat up with Julia earlier originally agreed. As he followed Julia Laoveen suddenly sensed a maleficent aura coming from behind them he stopped for a moment at first glance it looked like a nogisune but it was clear this creater was something else he knelt down to have a closer look and took in it dark and mysterious aura upon closer inspection he had an hypostasis about this strange creatures origins. But Laoveen noticed he had fallen behind the others he got up and hurried to catch up to them just as Judas showed up and welcomed them Jeul. Unfortunately they couldn't stay long and had to pass though as fast as possible. Once they reached the radiant meadows he knew the magic city was only a sort walk away and they couldn't arrive soon enough Laoveen had so much he needed to discuss with Julia but it was becoming clear they would also need kats imput Kiyus prospective would also be valuable.

"Julia Kiyu when we reach salazo we need to meet up with Kat as soon as possible i have a lot to report that we need to discuss"

Jack sighed when the worm finally retreated. They were safe for now. He followed Julia through the desert village and smiled happily when he felt himself magically rejuvenated. They didn't stay long in the village but at least he felt refreshed. They quickly left and went into a field full of flowers. He listened to Laoveen talk to Julia but he didn't pay it too much attention as it wasn't directed to him. He followed Julia, the city of magic wasn't far now.

[The One]

Julia and Kat

Julia continued towards Salazo with the others quickly. She had heard what Laoveen said and nodded to him. She had expected as much. She had a few things she needed to inform him herself but that could all wait when they reached Salazo. As they drew nearer the plants and wildlife grew richer and more fertile with magic. Floating pieces of land could be seen in the distance around the city itself. Around the city were several waterfalls spewing out potent magical water that could heal even the most deadly curses if one bathed in it.



Once at the entrance to the city Julia stopped. The city was surrounded by a huge green barrier. Only those who were permitted in could pass through the barrier. Two lalafell and two neko guards came up to the front of the barrier and they all recognised Julia, Kiyu and Laoveen instantly.

"Welcome Julia, Kiyu, Laoveen, who do you have with you?"

One of the guards looked to Fiona with concern before looking to everyone else then whispered something in the rest of the guard's ear. It was then that he ran off. Julia gave a small smile and spoke politely.

"We're here for Kat, please go and bring her quickly. We have important things to discuss."

The guards nodded and slowly looked back, waiting for Kat to appear. After a few minutes of waiting Kat finally showed up. She walked up to the barrier and without saying a word she waved her hand, quickly casting a spell on everyone except Julia, Laoveen and Kiyu then turned around to walk away.

"Come on inside, all of you. I'm sure we have plenty of things to discuss."

The guards looked shocked as Kat walked away. One of them ran up to her and whispered in her ear then Kat suddenly stopped.

"And? Do you see her attacking? No. I know what I am doing. Fiona is a valuable ally, do not question my judgement."

The guard looked to Fiona before scuttering away. With that, she continued to lead Julia and the others further into the city, the dark spirit fox following close behind. She lead them to her private quarters and let them all inside then she sat down on a table that had eight seats around it. Clearly, she had been expecting them all.

"It is good to finally meet all of you. My name is Kat, the top researcher in the investigation of the cracks. They are getting worse over time, and they are starting to affect this city. As some of you know, this city has always radiated magic however with the cracks getting stronger this city is starting to radiate more magic than it normally should. This could have extremely dangerous effects but I am sure you two have things to report too so let's hear the news."

It was then that a voice would ring in everyone's head, the same voice as from before. 'The magic overflow is more dangerous than you realise.' Kat instantly looked around but couldn't see anything. Julia looked at Kat and spoke to her.

"It is the same voice from before, it warned us of danger, that we should be careful then all of a sudden an Elder Worm attacked us."

Kat's eyes opened wide in pure shock.

"What, an Elder Worm? Their sightings are extremely rare. This is very concerning."

She waved her hand over her eyes and they glowed purple. She looked around and saw the dark spirit fox. Slowly she jumped off her chair and inspected it the spirit fox just stared back at her unblinkingly.

"Interesting...interesting, and it warned you of danger? Laovaan what are your thoughts on this?"

Kat slowly pushed her hand through the fox and gave a small nod.

"Yes, as expected. 'The magic overflow is more dangerous than we realise' it says. I think we should definitely heed those words. It is vague but I feel like something bad is on its way, something very bad."

As mention of that the fox nodded. 'Yes. You must be prepared.' Kat looked to Julia and waved her hand over her eyes. Suddenly they turned purple as Kat's had. Julia blinked a few times then inspected the fox herself.

"Kiyu is right. It definitely isn't a nogitsune. I have never seen anything like it in the library of knowledge."

She got up and looked at Laovaan, waiting for his opinion on the matter. While they waited Kat sat back on the chair and sighed softly. She had a bad feeling all of a sudden that she couldn't swallow. She had a few hypocrisies of what the fox was, but she wanted to hear Laovaan's thoughts first.

Laoveen

It didn't take long to reach the cities gates they where forced to wait for a few minutes for Kat to show up in the moment they felt like the longes four minutes of his life but eventually they where granted entry into and lead by Kat to her private quarters. Laoveen waited for them to finish exchanging pleasantries when he heard the fox that had followed them speak up with a warning that and the brief explanation of the foxes actions with the elder worm insident helped to confirmed his hypostasis.Soon enough all eyes where on him.

"based on the fact that the fox looks similar to a nogisune and radiants a maleficent aura while warning us of danger could only mean one thing its a kitsune that has had its sprint ball stolen by a maleficent individual who is certainly no ally of ours. While this kitsune serms to want to help us it is restricted from doing so hence why it was able to warn you that you where in danger in the desert but couldn't tell you the level of the threat. Logically speaking i suspect the true reason this fox has been following us is to spy on us. But we have more pressing matters to discuss the cracks influences on this world wildlife is growing each day creatures with naturally high affinity for magic are absorbing the ambient magic that the cracks are constantly admitting. The creatures are effected by this are becoming more aggressive and unpredictable and far more powerful.A Winter phoenix attacked destroyed a small town in the South Pole phoenix have restarted the started the war of ice and fire as well as starting a war with dragons griffins have attacked dragons their natural predators most recently the elder worm that attacked Julia. Elder worm sightings are not only rare they are omens apocalyptic events always follow a elder worm sighting and the last known sighting was thousands of years ago but Julia could elaborate on that since it was all recorded in the library. That brings us to now and the fact this city is emitting more magic then ever before and that it’s apparently more dangerous then we realise my hypothesis is that the magic the are admitting cracks are somehow interacting with this city and just like the creatures that have been effected this city magic is being amplified if that’s the case then it’s also getting corrupted if that’s the case then the magic this city is emitting will begin to corrupt the surrounding environment and by extension the creatures that live around here breath the magic infused air eating the magic infused plants and drinking the water will also be effected and the creatures that live around here tend to be far more power then those that live anywhere else if they succumb to the corrupting effects of the cracks they could threaten the safety of this city. Of course this is only my opinion I have no solid evidence to support this hypothesis but all signs and the information I have gathered supports this hypothesis.”

Kiyu

Kiyu watched as the apocalypse worm retreated. He was glad that they had done enough damage to it that it decided to run. He looked to Julia to see her on her back physically exhausted before hearing what she had to say. He let out one more heavy sigh showing his exhaustion before beginning to walk and follow her. Once they reached the desert village they quickly left soon after but not before Judas healed their exhaustion both physically and mentally. Julia and Judas exchanged a few words before they went out into the radiant meadows. Now, this felt like home. He had been living in the city of magic his whole life so he knew this place well. The city was close by. He listened to Laoveen and after he spoke he quickly replied. "I also have an important report to make to all of you when we finally group up." Once they were at the gates they waited until Kat showed up to allow everybody inside the city. It was then that they were led to her private quarters.

He let Kat talk first and give her report, nodding softly when she gave it. His attention turned to the first as it made a vague warning once again in terms of what Kat spoke about. 'The magic overflow is more dangerous than we realise' it was Laoveen who spoke next giving a full report. To say the least, he wasn't surprised that it was a Kitsune and he knew about their spirit orbs. What Laoveen was definitely reasonable. The more concerning news was that creatures were absorbing magic leaking from the cracks becoming more aggressive, unpredictable and more powerful. He listened as he explained that the war of fire and ice started up again as well as the age-old war of dragons against phoenixes. Winter Phoenixes were even attacking villagers which were unlike them. Finally, he listened to the hypothesis he had on the magic overflow. Once again it was a logical conclusion but he was sure Kat could expand on that. "What you say is reasonable and also concerning but I also have things to report. Recently there have been several sightings of unnatural behaviour in certain animals such as birds. In fact, one such occurrence happened today right before the elder worm attack. Birds are starting to show up in places in which they would otherwise avoid and it is usually only one every time. There have also been rumours on several suspicious figures seen around Salazo. One such report describes a horned man in black robes with dark purple magic emitting from him while another related report suggests a pure black snake of unnatural origins which has purple eyes. Lastly, there have been sightings of two men with faces covered hiding out in dark alleys and overall dark places. In terms of allies, there are reports of a young but powerful sorcerer whose recently been orphaned. He associates with a draclafly who are known for their vast knowledge of magic. Finally, I may have located two cities that were originally lost to this day. Those cities are the city of the familiars and the city of Atlantis. That is it for my report." He gave a respectful bow of the head before sitting down on his seat.

(I will put for Bahamut next time as it is mostly going to be reactions.)

[The One]

Julia

Julia listened to the concerning reports that Kat, Laoveen and Kiyu had to offer. It seemed a lot was happening in recent times. Things that weren't normal and shouldn't be happening. Phoenixes fighting dragons and Winter Phoenixes, Griffins attacks dragons, suspicious people being seen and the city leaking out more magic than normal. It wasn't long before all eyes were on her. She looked around before giving a quick nod.

"Before I make my report I will go to the library and get the necessary files."

Julia closed her eyes and she quickly disappeared. She reappeared in front of the library and went inside to sit herself down on the table. She knew exactly what she was looking for but she also wanted to check up on something.

"Bring me the file on the last elder worm sighting."

A single file appeared in front of her. She looked it over before putting it to the side.

Julia grabbed the file then teleported back to the others as soon as she got outside of the library. With having the right file, she could make a full report about what happened 25000 years ago when an elder worm appeared. She opened up the file before quickly flipping through it. After a moment of silence, she spoke with her head still buried in the file.

"Okay then.....so the last elder worm sighting was 25000 years ago. Someone had been attacking the Tree of Life trying to kill it but the natural guardians of the tree of life, Gods who once lived in this world protected it. The aggressor decided that the best way to destroy the tree of life was to cast a powerful curse upon it. A curse called the Black Sanctum Mist. It is an extremely powerful curse which produces a black mist which acts like a living predator draining the life out of everything it touches. This almost destroyed the Forest of Life as well as the Tree of Life, including Rethynth himself. Many worlds died, the gods thought that only other gods could cast such a powerful curse and so they turned on each other. A war broke out, a War of Gods. While they fought against each other more and more worlds died, the gods grew weaker and eventually, they died themselves. With no gods around anymore to save the Tree of Life, the lalafell saw no other choice than to step in themselves. They weren't confident that they could save the Tree of Life, to do what was originally the job of a God but they managed to cure the forest and saved the tree. Even though worlds died the tree survived. It grew back, regenerated and new worlds were born. It was that incident that made lalafell the natural guardians of the Forest of Life, Tree of Life and Rethynth. That is what occurred during the last elder worm sighting.

I am not done, however. During our travel through the Forest of Life, I sensed something was wrong. I travelled to Rethynth and tried to speak to him but he went out of control and attacked me and everyone else. Luckily with everyone working hard we calmed him down and put him to sleep. He is in a lot of pain, his emotions are on an all-time high. I believe that the cause of it is due to the cracks. He can feel all worlds connected to them. It is very possible that he is feeling the chaos that is happening in all the worlds or that he is feeling the worlds slowly die out because of the cracks. Whatever the exact reason is, it is causing him to go crazed and attack. Right now he is calmed but he could be affected by it again if left unchecked. That is my final report."

Julia took a deep breath then threw the files she had finished reading in the air. With that, they disappeared and went back to the library. She gave a small smile, waiting to see what Kat thought of everything.

Kat

Kat listened to all of the reports carefully and gave a short nod. They were all concerning for various reasons. She turned to Laoveen who had asked her a question. What he said was very concerning and it added up.

"Yes, there has been more crime as of late. People are becoming more violent and easily angered than normal. What you say is most likely the case and that is concerning."

She looked at all three of them before giving a soft sigh. They were going to have to further investigate the incidents around the other cities. If they could find out why all this was happening and find out what caused the cracks then they could start thinking of ways to solve them. Kat stood up and spoke loudly.

"Okay, here is what we will do. Kiyu, you mentioned you found a potential ally, a child who has recently become orphaned. Ally or not we should find him and see that he is safe. You also mentioned three possible suspects. We will scout the city for any suspicious activity and see if we can find anyone matching those descriptions. I know of someone else who can help us too, I'm sure they will help. Once we scout the city we can all get ready to leave tomorrow morning. We will go out in three groups of three. Since I we haven’t had time to fully get acquainted with everyone yet I will let you get into your own groups. We will go out and see what We can see. Does anyone have any questions before we end this meeting?"

She looked around, waiting for anyone to speak before she went out.

Kiyu and Kat

Kiyu listened to Julia's report in full and understood why the elder worm appeared in such a dire situation last time. He then listened to her report on Rethynth. Like Kat had said it was concerning that he was being affected too. When the meeting was over and Kat gave her orders Kiyu got ready to leave. He intended to go out with Kat and help search for suspicious activity as well as the orphan he had recently seen. "I'll go with you Kat. I will be able to recognise them if we see them and more pair of eyes are better than one. Bahamut, you can take to the skies. Kiyu walked out the door and looked around slowly. He would wait for Kat to follow him out whenever she was ready then continued on. He walked casually, keeping his eye out on anything suspicious.

Kat looked to Kiyu and nodded. She looked to Bahamut and waited for him to follow them out than the three went out together. Kat didn't know who she was looking for exactly but she knew Draclafly were an extremely rare sight so if there was one in the city with a young child then surely it couldn't be hard to find. She looked around slowly before turning to Kiyu.

"Whereabouts did you see them all?"

She looked back around keeping her eyes peeled for anything suspicious while she waited for Kiyu. She knew this was a big city and to search it all between the three of them would be too big of a job. He waved his hand for Kat to follow then spoke as he walked slowly. "I saw the boy with the Draclafly towards the city centre while the suspects were seen in the sidestreets not far from here." He began to walk a little faster until he reached the large fountain by the town centre. He looked around but couldn't see any Draclafly. At least not yet, he looked over to Kat and spoke again. "Kat let's use union sense. It will help us find the Draclafly and maybe the suspects too." He held out his hand then closed his eyes. Magic flowed through him and concentrated into his hand which quickly began to glow.

Kat followed Kiyu and listened to him. She walked with him to the fountain keeping her eyes open for anything important while Bahamut was flying in the air. This was a big city and she agreed that magic sense would allow them to search it much faster and with them being in the centre and both being lalafell the two of them would be able to reach quite far but she also knew it was possible for any decently skilled individual to hide their presence from magic sense so she didn't know how effective it was going to be. She closed her eyes and let magic flow through her and into her hand like Kiyu had done then grabbed his hand. With the two of them connected she reached out into the city, listening to any and all sounds she could pick up on and looked into each and every alley she could reach. She could hear Kiyu's and her own heartbeat. It took a moment but she finally picked up on a strong magical presence not too far from where they were. She focused on it and quickly realised that was the Draclafly they were searching for. She opened up her eyes for a moment and blinked a few times before turning to Kiyu.

"I found it. Follow me."

She smiled and let go of his hand before running towards where she sensed the Draclafly. Kiyu felt her grab his hand and at that moment he reached out into the city just like she had done. It took him a little bit longer than she had taken but he had sensed the Draclafly moments after her. He opened his eyes and quickly races after her. "Yes, I sensed it too." He ran along with Kat until they reached the spot where they sensed the Draclafly. There he saw a child sat on a step with a grimoire reading it.



The Draclafly watched them carefully, it's wings folded and stood up beside the boy. Kiyu stood forward and began to speak. "Hello, who are you?" the boy looked up from his grimoire before slowly lowering it. "My name is Erik, my father was killed by a large black snake. I think it was because he knew something he shouldn't have known but I don't know. He gave me this book when I was a lot younger and I have been reading it ever since. He said that one day I would need to use it, much sooner than he would like. I think he knew this day was coming." Kiyu nodded and looked to Kat waiting on her judgement.

Kat stopped when they reached the boy. She let Kiyu go up first and listened to what Erik had to say. When Kiyu looked to her she stood forward and started to take a closer look at the book. She recognised it well, it was an extremely powerful grimoire. It wasn't one that was just bought from a local magic shop but one that was specially made and handcrafted. Specifically, she knew it was a royal grimoire and one that went back thousands of years. It was an extremely old book and knew that it was going to have some extremely powerful and dangerous spells in there.

"I see. Erik, if you are on your own then why don't you come with us? You can trust me, I am in charge of this city. I know that Grimoire well, it is very old and powerful. Just holding onto it would increase your magic output dramatically and if you have had it for years then you must be pretty powerful. Despite being young maybe you can help us."

She gave him and smile and held out her hand. Erik looked up to her crown before looking to his Draclafly. It gave him a nod letting him know that it sensed no ill intent in either one of them before grabbing her hand and pulling himself up. He closed his book and continued to just hold it for now. They had found the boy so it was time to head back to see if anyone had found anything else. They had been out for long enough now.

Kiyu watched as Kat spoke to Erik. When he finally got himself up he smiled. It had been roughly twenty minutes, walking to the city centre, using magic sense to find him and them talking to him and getting him to come with them. It was going to be worth it though. Erik could be a powerful ally despite him being just a human being. He turned around and led Kat and Erik back to Kat's personal quarters. When they were finally back they went inside and waited until everyone was back before he looked around. "We have Erik, how did everyone else get on?"

Bahamut

Bahamut watched the elder worm leave and sighed. He didn't want to wait for it to come back so he quickly followed Julia. They entered Jeul and met someone called Judas who Julia knew. She healed everyone's fatigue physically and mentally before they quickly moved on. The magic city wasn't far away when they reached the radiant meadows. Once at the gate they had to wait for Kat to arrive. Finally, they were all let in and went into her private quarters. Throughout the meeting, he stayed silent listening to everything that the four spoke about. He heard the fox but ignored it. It was a warning that he didn't fully understand not until it was discussed in the meeting anyway. When the meeting finally ended Kat decided to put everyone in three groups of three and he would be with Kiyu and Kat taking the skies. He walked out and flew up quickly. While Kat and Kiyu were looking on ground level he looked in the skies for anything suspicious. There was highly unlikely though that the people Kiyu saw before wouldn't be around to be seen again but there was always that chance. By the time Kiyu and Kat found Erik and began speaking to him, Bahamut had still not seen anything suspicious. Finally, he saw them head back inside and he dropped down and followed them in. "I saw nothing from above." He looked to everyone else and waited to hear what everyone had to report.

Julia listened to Kat and nodded. They were all going to go in a group of three and search. She watched as Kiyu went with Kat and Bahamut then looked over to Fiona. She knew that Fiona would not be welcomed in the city wandering on her own. She decided that it would be best if she went with her.

"Come on Fiona, you can come with me. You too Grace. Let's go."

She led them out of the door and then went in the opposite direction Kat's group went in. She wasn't sure if she was going to find anything or not but at least they could try. It was very possible whoever Kiyu had seen had already left but even if they had it would give Fiona and Grace a chance to explore the city.

Grace followed Julia into the magic city she listened to the members of the research team talk about the crack. Grace didn’t know enough about this world or the cracks to really have anything to add to the discussion so she just sat and quietly and listened. Once that was done she heard Julia call out to her. Grace walked over and followed Julia and Fiona out the door as they began there search of the city.

Fiona was satin the room listening to the members of the research team discus the cracks when Kat suggested they formed teams of three. Fiona joined Julia’s team as Julia called to Grace and the tree of them set off to search the city. As the three of them began their search the city Fiona started to notice a lot of strange looks nothing she wasn’t expecting but with what Kat said about increased crime rate and people being more violent and aggressive lately Fiona wasn’t taking any chances and kept her eyes open for any signs of trouble.

Julia continued to walk and look around as she led the others. Every so often, she would close her eyes to try and sense for anyone close by in the alleyways but right now they were coming up with nothing. She wondered how Kat's search was going. They hadn't been out for long yet so they still had plenty of time to search but they couldn't spend too long searching for suspicious enemies who may not even be around anymore. She continued to push her senses out. This was a big city, even if all of them looking together they wouldn't be able to search the entire city. All they could do was do the best they could and search as much as they could until it got too late. Then they could rest and head out. She was just glad that they had finally met up with Kat.

Grace followed Julia as they continued their search after a few minutes she started to notice a growing number of people glaring at them or more acceleratly at Fiona Grace began to think back to welcome Fiona had received at the cities gates and realized what was going on. As Grace began to reach for her Spear on her side Fiona reached for her arm preventing Grace from grabbing her weapon and wispered.

"don't be an fucking idiot let the fools make their move and i'll deal with them myself no need for you to draw any unnecessary attention to yourself because if anyone starts investigating you they will figure out your not from around here."

Hearing this Grace began to relax her stance and continued walking. Soon enough a group of 20 people consisting of Neoks Inumimi kitsune and lalafell came out of various alleys all glaring at Fiona with their weapons drawn seeing Grace was about to go for her weapon again but Fiona just glared at her shook her head and gave a look that says 'i got this'. Then around 10 of them changed at Fiona Fiona simply drew her weapons. Fiona transformed the enchantmented dagger into a large spiked club once more as her legs began to change becoming thicker and hairly as an apes her feet and shins became deformed and her nails grew into claws as her legs shifted into the legs of a Wendigo at the same time she bit her tongue casing it to bleed as she casted a speed enhancement spell to further boost her speed. Fiona then suddenly dissappeared for a second only to reappear behind the 10 goons who charged at her Fiona relaxed her stance as multiple gashes formed over their chests cased by the spikes on her club they all began to cough up blood from interal bleeding cased from being bludgeoned they all fell to the ground unconscious. Fiona just stood there looking at the rest of the group of armed attackers waiting to see what they would do next little did she know one of allies had reported to the guards that thire friends where getting attacked by a monster and 15 heavily armed guards where already on their way.

Julia could see that people were starting to get ready to attack. She closed her eyes, sensing more and more people coming towards them. Quickly she waved her hands and purple magic covered her and everyone else turning their eyes purple. This would record everything from their eyes and perspective. When they did finally attack Fiona quickly took action. Julia sighed and shook her head softly.

"You've all made a big mistake attacking us."

She closed her fist and purple magic formed around them. She then shot out powerful magical shields sending several aggressors flying back into walls. She placed her hand on the floor and a purple wall formed and shot up, hitting another five of the attackers. It was then that the guards came running up towards them. She sighed and shook her head again. She ran up a wall then jumped onto Fiona's shoulder. After that, she siphoned Fiona, charging herself up as magic radiated off her. After enough magic had been siphoned, Julia shot off like a rocket, her magic had formed into a very pinpoint drill making her go incredible speeds. She barged into the heavily armed guards and as soon as she did the magic barrier exploded. She landed on the floor and teleported back. She knew that attack wouldn't take them out, at least not yet.

"These guards won't listen to us, I can sense their hostility. We will need to report this to Kat as soon as possible."

She brought her hands together and connected both thumbs and index fingers making a triangle then she inverted it. Powerful black energy seeped from the triangle and as she charged it up a huge black inverted triangle appeared on the floor.

"Forbidden Magic Art 351; Inverted Triangle!"

Julia then shot out a huge blast from the inverted triangle from her fingers and at the same time, an even bigger magic blast from the ground up incinerating any and all magic the magical blasts touched and doing heavy damage. She knew that being the Librarian of Knowledge she was allowed to use forbidden arts under certain conditions. She thought that using this level of magic would scare off any potential attackers and stop this fight before it got worse.

Grace saw Fiona quickly deal with half of the attackers and Julia quickly dealt with the other half but as soon as they where done armed guards showed up and Julia quickly sprung into action taking turning herself into and hitting the guards with a magic missle then followed up with a forbidden spell even with the guards combined magic they couldn't protect themselves from her attack. Fiona saw Julia use one of her forbidden spells she knew this spell would leave Julia temporarily vulnerable Fiona knew Julia was right about they needed to inform Kat about this situation as soon as possible. Fiona ran up to Julia and picked Julia up ready to carry her back to Kats quarters "Grace our search is over its time to head back"

Morrigen

Morrigen was currently sat in the library when she heard somekind of commotion out side Morrigen decided to check it out and by the time she got their she saw Julia using a powerful forbidden spell and Fiona pick her up. Morrigen walked over to Fiona as her Grimoire suddenly appeared in front of her as she cast a rejuvenation spell on Julia to remove the adverse effects from using such a powerful spell as she did Morrigen let out a disapproing sigh

"Hello Julia don't you think the inverted triangle spell was overkill i know you have at least a dozen spells powerful enough to take out a guard squad without using a forbidden arts. Even if you where trying to make sure anyone else would think twice before joining the fight using that spell was taking things to far."
Julia

Julia fell to the floor and let out a tired sigh. It was then that Fiona picked her up before Morrigan came up and restored her fatigue. When she did she jumped down and let off a sigh of relief.

"Greeting Morrigan, nice to meet you again. Being the librarian of knowledge, my magic potential and magic power is far stronger than most lalafell. I can take a lot more strain than most would be able to normally take. Doing a spell like that is draining sure but nowhere near as dangerous as it would be to a normal lalafell. Besides we haven't got time to waste. I knew by doing that spell it would end the battle quickly so we can get going. Actually, come to think of it you have come at the perfect time. The worlds are in far more danger than they ever were before. I think you should come with us to Kat's private quarters. I'm sure you know about the cracks by now but there we can give you all the important details if you decide to come and help us."

After finishing, Julia motioned for her team to follow her. She headed back and as she did she turned her head to see if Morrigan was following. Once they were all back she informed Kat of everything that had happened and sadly with no sightings of the suspects but at least Kat and her team and recruited a powerful ally.

Morrigen knew Julia could handle the spell far better then the average Lalafell. Morrigen did agree that her use of such a powerful and dangerous spell would end the fight fairly quickly as no one would want to put themselves on the reviving end of such an attack. After listening to Julia Morrigen and the others followed her back to Kats quarters once they had arrived they saw Kat had already returned and they also brought a potential new ally with them even if none of the teams found any signs of the suspects recruiting new allies would make the whole thing worth while.

Laovaan

Laovaan listened to the reports given by Kiyu and Julia and agreed with Kats assessment that splitting up into three teams of three would be the most effective way to search such a big city. With Kats and Julia’s teams already gone Laovaan looked to Jack and Ming.

“Alright let’s get going”

Laovaan walks out the door and saw Kats team heading left and Julia’s heading right. Laovaan headed down the street right in front of him walking at a decent pace as he looked behind him once in a while to make sure the others where keeping up with his pace.
