She looks at adam and then sighs. She was glad they where gone. "So....um....about before...in the....im um....sorry for what a said....8 mean its true but its a bit........." she said to him her cheeks bright red. She then shakes her head. She sighs. "Do you like the scarab i gave you i found it in the ship wreck....it made me think of you and jacob......" she said. "But mostly you." She sighed. "Sorry im just going to stop talking right now...." she said as she shut up.

"It's okay," Adam says, gently kissing the top of her head. "I love the scarab. And the other thing? I want to say the same, but I can't yet. I really, really, like you, but I'm not quite ready to say 'love.' It wouldn't be fair to either of us for me to pretend to know what I'm feeling." He explains softly.

Max barely acknowledges Devon's words before she's overturning the house. She makes a soft noise of triumph and holds aloft the spear-dart that she had made for Toby. "I don't want anybody else to have this. It was his, and his it will stay." She tucks it into her jacket before spinning back to Devon. "And I know what you said about warmth or whatever, but you don't need to worry about me getting cold. Like, ever," she says.

She smiles and nods. "I understand...." she said to him with a smile. She then gently pushed him down on to the bed and sat on him. "Oi, I was thinking to honer our fallen friends....we could do something to celebrate there life....i think that they would want us to, Except Toby, Hed want us to chill and smoke weed all the time." she joked. "Kidding, he was an odd ball i would have loved to get to know." she said to him. She then sighed. "I think we could all use some fun after seeing all the death...." She said to him.

Adam grins. "Día de los Muertos is about celebrating life by honoring the dead, so we do a lot of storytelling, cooking from hand-me-down recipes, and things like that. I think that we could modify it a bit, seeing as how they weren't our ancestors. Maybe throw a party for everybody here?"

Kerian wakes up to apologize to winter but discovers she's not there and begins tracking her

Winter sneaks in when the guards switch posts. “Come on, where are you hiding, you bastard?” She mutters to herself, scanning every cultist for the marking of the one that had killed Arthur.

Kerian eventually gets to where winter is and sees the cultists and quietly kills them working his way to her

Winter slows down when she hears someone approaching her. When the figure gets to her, she spins and drives her new dagger towards his neck, stopping just shy of impaling him when she sees who’s neck it is. “What are you doing here?” she hisses, sheathing the blade.

Ivy carefully pulls back from the hug with a smile, and kisses him. “Where is it?”
