Aurora blinks when sunlight hits her in the eyes. She sighs and pulls her coat on from where it was sprawled on a dusty plastic-wrapped couch. When she’s satisfied with the security of her hood, she slips out of the building with a glance to the Hotel.
Auriole walks down the street until she gets back to the park. She reestablishes her glamours and she removes her coat. She looks around to estimate the crowds and what kind of things she should sell today.
Aurora sits and closes her eyes, curling up on a bench as the lack of sleep catches up with her. She sleeps deeply enough that it’s restorative but lightly enough that all of her senses were on high alert.
Aurora wakes to see that night has fallen. Smiling widely, she stands on the bench and propels herself into the sky, letting out a whoop as she plummets back down.
