Khalida huffs a little. "So... there's really no one that wants to go to the gala with me? Wow."

Sorcha shrugs. "I don't think I'll be able to bring my sword, so I'll pass."

Asa grins. "I'll go. If you go with me." She smiles at Vic.

Levi thinks " what sort of gala is it? "

Vic smiles sheepishly " I don't have nice clothes "

Ben smiles ' I will stay here ' he signs

Jason thinks" I'll go"

Khalida shrugs. "A charity event my mother is pulling together." She smiles when Jason says he'll go. "Are you sure, Sorcha? I could use someone like you watching my back."

Sorcha blushes faintly, realizing what Khalida is doing, then she frowns. "A high profile event? Are you sure?"

Khalida nods. "I'm positive. I'll have to trust you with my life sooner or later."

Sorcha smiles faintly and nods. "I'd be honored."

Levi shrugs " sure I might as well go "

Vic thinks " I'll need to get a suit "

Ben just smiled 'have fun' he signs he then walks into the workshop and begins to tinker on something

Jason nods" same as Vic I need a suit "

"What kind of 'high profile event' are you talking here? A dance, a show?"

Khalida smiles brightly. “I don’t know where we’re at, but I’ve already located the nearest place we can all get something to wear.”

Sorcha grins. “Why does that not surprise me? So... we go all at once?”

Khalida shrugs. “That’s up to them. The gala’s the day after tomorrow, so we have little time.”

Levi looks at Sean " got to follow the conversation dude it's a charity event her mother is putting together "

Vic stretches " might as well go out and buy the suits now "

Jason nods" I agree with vic"

Ben was making a sketch of one of his inventions

Khalida nods. “Looks like we’ll all be going to get something together. Ladies, are you coming?” She turns to Del, Amy, and Amber.

Sorcha waves dismissively. “If they want they can tag along. I have a feeling this might take a while.”

Khalida smiles and leads the group to the mall. She nods to the boys. “The best of luck to you.” She turns and leads the girls to a dress shop.

Levi had stayed home as he already has nice clothes

After a couple of minutes Vic had gotten an outfit that consisted of a grey dressshirt, grey slacks black dress shoes and a blue tie and vest

Jason had gotten a white dress shirt , black slacks black dress shoes and a black tie and vest

Khalida didn’t look for anything as her mother had her dress selected, so she was there to help.

After a few minutes, Asa picks out a white lace floor length dress and a white flower headband with tan ankle boots.

After half an hour, Sorcha picks out a a light blue cut across dress and matching black heels.

Khalida leads the girls to the center of the mall to look for the guys.

The guys are eating and joking around

Sean got himself a white dress shirt with a maroon vest, jacket, and black dress shoes. He has his staff in one hand like a cane.

Sorcha finds the guys first and she waves the girls over.

Khalida smiles at them. “Hey guys! Did you find what you needed?”

Jason nods" yeah Sean's suit is looking pretty nice " he says

Vic nods" yeah I like my suit "

Levi is learning ASL from Ben back at the house

Khalida smiles. “Good. And don’t worry about transportation, my mother’s jet should be big enough.”

Asa makes a face. “What’s this ‘jet’ you speak of?”

Sorcha’s eyebrows raise. “I knew technology had advanced, but those things work now?”

The guys at the store chuckle at the two einherji

levi is struggling to learn ASL

Khalida explains to Asa what a jet is with a smile. "Alright, then I'll tell him to pick us up at 5:00, a few hours before. So... yes that will work nicely. Any questions?"

Asa and Sorcha stay silent.

The guys shake their head

" nope " Jason says

Khalida nods with a smile. "Good. I guess I'll go back then."

Sorcha nods. "I'm going to look around. Conduct a study of modern behaviors and phrases."

Asa shrugs. "I've got nothing better to do, so I guess I could look around."
