Emily blinked. But, her eyes would only be half open. Her parents watched them leave, glad that that sorcerer had not taken his anger out on them and their clan because of her.

Emily would not be fully awake or anything until she was wherever she was being taken to.

He travels back to his house, and places her in a well appointed room, deep in his home, to sleep off the magic.

Marin comes back to the valentines, and she excuses herself to the bathroom. She shifts into a bug and follows Damocles as a bird. She shifts into her disguise and she kneels by Emily.

Emily would be like that for hours. When she awoke, it was sunset. She gasped when she saw her surroundings and her fury returned. She saw servants running in and out in a hurry. Some carried flowers and others carried silk and other cloth. One was carrying a little black box in their hands.

He fades away, leaving Marin to care for her.

Marin shifts into her natural form and tends to Emily.

Emily glared at Marin. She refused to let her do anything. But, she would often feel dizzy and she would have no memory of what happened during certain times. One of those instances would be when she was being fitted for a wedding dress, but that was later on. At this time, she was just being tended to, and she did not like it since she hated her as much as that villain.

Marin ignores Emily's stubbornness, and tends to her anyway.

Emily kept refusing. She backed away from her at times. She kept telling her to go away. She even got loud at times.

Marin backs her into a corner so she can heal unperturbed. "Stupid human. I'm trying to help you," she mutters.

Emily glared at her. She didn't want her to be anywhere near her. She wanted her to go away. She wanted her to leave her alone.

Marin levels a stare at her. "Look, I get it. You hate my very insides. If you want to starve, fine. If you don't, I suggest listening to me. This is your fate, so stop acting a child and face it. Deal with it, don't run from it."

Emily was shouting again.
"They took everything from me! I was betrayed! Hurt! Nobody cares! My freedom is the only thing left and I can't give that up!"

Marin laughs drily. "Thanks for telling me your plan. If life gives you a bad hand, you bluff until you can reason your way out."

Maids were adding final touches to the wedding dress and veil. Butlers were making sure the dinning table was set up for the after wedding supper. Other servants were setting up for the ceremony.

Emily sighed and looked away.

Marin shrugs and stands. "I'm done with you." She shifts into Emily and crouches by her to test her reaction.

He uses his magic to flip between different outfits.

Emily gasped. She nearly fell out of the bed.

Servants continued to rush around. A butler had delivered the requested ring to the master, the sorcerer. The rest of them were still busy with their other duties.

He checks the rings, and nods in approval.

"Hmph." Marin stands, shifting back to her natural form, and knocks on Damocles' door. "My lord?"
