As it happened the temperature within the chamber suddenly dropped, and the candles lighting the room flickered out before sputtering back to life. He hadn't heard what the dwarf said as he thrashed against the vines, he appeared slightly paler and his eyes looked glazed over and pupiless while he muttered something about being trapped and begged to be released with a slight echo in his voice. Everyone sensed that something was wrong, but the dwarf would be the only person to recognize what it was exactly.
However the feeling passed and the room felt normal as suddenly as it had changed. The question now was how would these strangers react?
