Crimson's correct. First Officer is who takes charge when the captain is not available as well as being the captain's chief advisor. It's the same thing as a First Mate.

Chief Science Officer heads the upkeep of computer systems and communications equipment, as well as guiding scientific research.

Chief Engineer keeps the ship running.

Chief Medical Officer is obvious, I hope.

I'm not sure if I could do Chief Science (as my brain is sciency, but not that kind of science) but I'll take a stab at it if necessary. I thin I'll start Kris off as a farmer. A very intelligent farmer, but a farmer non the less.

Yeah, I think that absence of mine killed it, unfortunately. I do have another RP started up that could use some new people. It's getting a little stagnant after almost a week of no IC replies, assuming you're interested in Transformers.
