@Guardian Angel Haruki I'd just like to clarify, because I think I might have confused some people, that the creatures that are attacking you aren't actually rats, they're just very rodent-like. I also mentioned previously that while the creatures seem somewhat familiar to Stargaze, she can't exactly place why, nor does she remember Echo ever mentioning anything resembling them.

Posted. I can now finally stop referring to the creatures as, well, creatures. It's actually pretty good that Fellwing was the one to roll that Study Someone check, as it allows me to use what she would already know from her previous visions.

Also, looking up information about brownies to help me write the post was fun. My favourite line is this one from wikipedia: "If a person attempts to present a brownie with clothing or if a person attempts to baptize him, he will leave forever." I didn't think that would fit with this roleplay's version of brownies, but I still thought it was funny. Very melodramatic.

Also, while House Myndoth arguably know the most about fairies, I'd like to think all Houses have a "What To Do If a Fairy Is Mad at You" class. Very important knowledge.

That is, indeed, how it works xD

I mean, in all Pbta games, failure is how you gain experience, and it's treated like "Oh you learnt from your mistakes, ergo you are now more powerful through your failiures". However, only Epyllion has it that your advancement is tied explicitly to your age. And no, I checked, the book doesn't acknowledge that fact in universe.

What the book does acknowledge: dragon society is based on age, with the elders being the one's who are in charge. Which means, if dragons grow faster the more they fail, then dragon society is run by people who have failed A LOT. Take from that what you will.

(I mean, there are other ways to gain EXP besides failure but it is kinda the MAIN way)

Grabbing food and then figuring out a post! Easily distractable and hard working, huh. Sort of reminds me of jiang-shi - that has to stop and count rice grains if you throw some on its path :D too bad we got none. Err, what sort of things can moon magic do? I imagine it can probably create a pretty good distraction, if nothing in the environment is good for that.

Edit: Nvm, found moon descriptions in the first post, reading now!

Also oof, I figured the bloating rodents might have been brownies, but to actually have Bartley be among them... I wonder if this is reversible.

@Vertigo Is Fellwing calling upon a specific moon, or just asking for the moons in general? In the future, upon getting a 10+, you're allowed to describe the moon doing whatever you want (within reason).

Edit: Also, I just checked that roll. Where is that +1 from? It won't affect your roll since it's still a 10+, I just want some clarification.

Had fallen asleep, whoops! Hmm, she was probably calling out in general, not even knowing what specifically she was asking for - just something magical in the forest that would draw the rodents away. Some noise, light, smell, maybe some natural phenomenon like flowers blooming all of a sudden, or maybe something that would make their hardworking nature flare, like something making a mess in their forest. I can settle on a specific thing too if needed though, maybe some sort of a combination; particularly enticing, vibrant flowers starting to bloom all over the place?

The +1 was the Friendship Gem returned if I understood the wording correctly. Or does this mean that you need to use one gem anyway, and if you use more than one, you can add those to the result?
