The Forest of Algeran. A peaceful clearing is suddenly filled with a blinding light. All throughout Chessia, for just a moment, Pawns have only one thought. Hope. And then it is gone. They're back to their lives of servitude to Crucin. Back to their lives of poverty. But in that clearing, hope has been manifested. In the form of 10 young people. Some of them from Chessia, others from a completely different world, where magic is a thing of stories. The Chessboard Rebellion has just gained the advantage over Crucin. Chessia is about to be cast into chaos. (Keep in mind that you don't have your weapons or your powers yet.)

John awoke in a clearing. "What the hell!" he exclaimed. This was nothing like the snowy street where he had just been walking with friends. He looked around him and saw that there were other people, around his age, even one in full armor. They were laying in the lush green grass of this forest clearing. The clearing was encircled by giant trees, with leaves of green, red, orange, yellow, purple, pink, even blue. At this point he was still the only one awake. What was that in the distance? Was it shouting? Marching? Just a figment of his imagination perhaps. He sighed and continued looking around for some trace of how he had gotten here.

"Brother! Brother! Wake Up Moron!" A Redheaded girl named Marta was shaking his sleepy brother, she wanted to tell him they were in a strange place.
"MMMM....Mom....I can't eat anymore." He talked in his sleep, infuriated, Marta kicked Masaki to wake him up for good.
"Our mom is dead, and stop having cliche dreams and wake up." She said, still angry, it was her usual mood
"Owch...Good Morning right?" Said Masaki getting up, rubbing his back right in the place where she kicked. "Hm? I don't remember ever going into a forest...one with huge trees at that" He spoke confused.
"I would blame you if wasn't by the fact that we slept in a street. What is happening." Said Marta crossing her arms, looking confused as her brother was.
"It seems we are not the only one here." He said while looking around and seeing more people other than the brothers.
"I know that already...what do you think we should do?" She asked to his brother, usually, he's the one to take the decisions of the duo.
"For now, wait for the others to wake up, or search around." Masaki said, seeing someone who was already awake. "I'll go talk to him." The boy then walked at the Direction of a blonde boy.

Mal'gu slowly woke up feeling like he had to much ale yesterday. slowly standing up he stood at 6'3 feet in full armor and looking around only to see two red haired people and a blone one "Okey. . . . either i have gotten to much ale or im crazy as i surely do remember a tree with diffrent coolered and a bunch of people laying there and sleeping plus two red haired people and a blonde boy were NOT in my inn room " He said as he walked towards the two red haired onces, the one of em walked towards the blonde one Mal'gu leaving the other one there " Hail ! "

Alezz woke up slowly on his back sitting up and looking around at everyone, Instantly sensing a possible threat he stood waiting in a defensive position "I suggest no one touches me..."

Sam woke up in a forest he knew all to well, after hearing a voice a few dozen feet behind him he began to walk in the direction of the voice (which did not want to be touched) with a sluggish limp, he had no greater desire but to place this hand on the source of the voice's shoulder. He approached the boy and held his hand back for fear of upsetting a potential ally.

Twisting and turning in the grass as the images in his mind didn't make much sense. A clock, a weird man, and a giant? What is all that supposed to mean...?

He opened his eyes and shook his head to rid himself of whatever he was thinking-just to spot some kind of open area with people sleeping, meeting and talking.

This is weird and I don't know why I'm here or how I got here... And So.... I think I'll just hang back from these people for now. Taking a good twenty paces, backwards, away from the strangers-he whipped his cloak to cover his face except the eyes then continued to observe them silently.

Liarra woke at the edge of the clearing. She looked around at all the others, keeping her distant. She leaned against a tree, carefully watching them. One day I'm in the streets, next morning I'm here? Coincidence? I don't think so.... Something is going on. she continued to silently observe everyone else.

Kurgaz emerged from the hole he had dug. The sunlight blinded him for a moment until he shielded his eyes with his small, chubby arm. He put his pick on the ledge above him before jumping and clambering up onto the grassy ledge. He picked up his pick while hoisting the bag of various ores and gems he hung on his back. He looked around the area, Sam was nowhere to be seen. He narrowed his eyes, Sam never strayed too far from the mine lest someone try to come and ambush Kurgaz mid-mine.

He began to slowly walk around the areas, he found a few traps that had been set off. A dead rabbit lay in one and a few foxes lay in the others. Sam was never this sloppy, something was wrong. He put his pick in its sheath on his back after moving the bag to provide enough room. He tied the top of the bag and tossed it down the mine before covering it with a small mock-like cover to ensure no one goes down it.

He walked throughout the forest while looking for, Sam. He was nowhere to be found, no footprints, no broken bolts, no notes or signs of him ever having left. Kurgaz made the assumption that, Sam had to hastily make a move. He sighed before heading north through the forest. A few minutes into his journey he discovered a peculiar sight. An open clearing filled with teenagers, including Sam. Kurgaz made his way over to Sam before exclaiming
"Where the bloody 'ell did ye' go boy? Yer' traps have been set off 'ours ago!"

[Ben]

"Kurgaz!?" Sam yelled after seeing his dwarvern friend, he quickly realized that he should not have been surprised as he already knew Kurgaz had been mining in the forest when he last saw him.
Sam approached his friend, still wondering who these people were in what he would now comfortably though inaccurately assert as 'their woods' now that Kurgaz was here.

"Brother...?"
A tiny voice mumbled as eyelashes fluttered up to reveal chocolate brown eyes. The dark pools were dazed at first but then confusion set in as the young girl sat up, realizing that she was no longer in the city. What....? Where am I? She wandered, spying the other people in the clearing. Panic began trickling through her as she realized that she was in a clearing with nine other strangers that she did not know. She young girl stood on wobbly legs, fearful gaze trained at the other teenagers.

Zaara blinked her eyes open, the world swimming into view. She tensed upon recognizing that her surroundings were not familiar. She shot to her feet only to stumble slightly as the blood rushed to her head. She blinked for a few moments before looking around, frowning in confusion. Where in the world am I?

More and more of the people started stirring from their sleep. It seemed to him that some of the people at least knew each other. Well, it's good that there are friendships here, I guess, because at least with friends, I'll know I can rely on someone to help me help them.

Then he noticed a girl lose her footing a little bit, he walked over to her, dropping his cloak from his face as he did. "Hey, can I give you a hand?" He asked politely.

John looked over his shoulder to find that everyone had woken up. He also saw a guy with red hair walking towards him. He looked at the guy inquisitively and asked, "Do you have any idea what's going on?" The marching that John had heard earlier was a bit louder now. He was almost certain it was real now. Where the hell was he?

[Kael Taiyou]

"No, i'm cofused as you are." Said Masaki rubbing the back of his head. "I'm Masaki by the way." Said the boy introducing himself
Meanwhile, Marta saw that everyone has woke up, and that a man in full armor greeted her, whitout anything to say, she only replied back with a "Hail for you too." She said whitout smiling

John held out his hand. "I'm John," he said. "Do you by any chance hear that marching that seems to be getting much much louder?" John asked, a worried look in his eye.

Alezz raised an eyebrow lowering his stance as he looked around and listened "I do hear that...What is it?!"

Mal'gu " Come on smile a little why have be dugged down and be unhappy." Mal'gu laughed trying to really sound like he was happy but insteed he was confuced over all belif. Waking up in a random place people everywjere amd tjey dodnt know either what was happening so at least he could try and give some happy enegy to everyone " So little miss whats your name ?" asking in a very polite manner just like his father had taught him to say to women

Liarra stays at the edge of the clearing, listening to the conversations and the approaching sound of marching. Her instincts tell her to run. To get away. But something is holding her back. How did I get here? And all these other people...the marching sounds....they have to be connected. Years of living on the streets told her that curiosity could be dangerous, but for once, she put that behind her. Although she made no attempt to interact with the others, she did not yet leave the area. I'll just wait and see what happens here.

Suddenly, the marching is deafening. John turns his head in the direction of what sounds like an army and watches as 8 cloaked men come out, their palms splayed and their eyes covered. Their feet are bare and calloused and sticking out of the cloak is a beak. An eagle beak. The figures circle them, shoving stragglers into the center the sound of marching shaking the ground. The creatures close their palms and the sound stops. But when they splay their hands again a ball of white hot flame races towards them. John covers his face and waits for death. But it never comes. Instead him and the others are standing in a grand room, with a round, ten chaired table at the center. Standing in front of them is a tall, beautiful woman, smiling at them as if their teleportation was a common occurence.

Liarra stares at the woman, now getting defensive. She doesn't seem to move, but she's readying herself for whatever may come. I am so paranoid sometimes.....But, then again, it's saved my life more times than I can count.

[Kael Taiyou]

"Eh, wha- Where? What just happened?" the Hikari Brothers said in unision, before they could tell what was going on, they noticed that they were in a misterious room with the other people. "Did we... get saved?" Masaki dared to ask. "More like another crazy thing has just happened, what's going on anyway? Who were those things? And more importantly, who are you?" Said Marta to the woman that stood at the center of the room.
