Oh wow, that's really sad about your uncle. I'm sorry to hear it. It's like any addiction - it changes the person into someone else which makes it that much more difficult to deal with. And it seems like it effects everyone who's involved. I hope something changes for your uncle :( Oh shit, and I sent you that family guy video poking fun at Canadians and alcoholics/AA members. Dammit, I'm really sorry DX

Lol that's fine, there's no rush to figure it out or be worried about it.

Insidious Chapter 2. Nope, haven't seen it, not sure I ever will. I was already coerced into watching the first one, thanks very much Dx Well, I use the word "watch" loosely, since I probably only watched less than half of it. The other half was spent with my face in a blanket xD I'm not kidding, I'm the biggest coward when it comes to scary movies. All the tomboyishness - poof, out the window. I can start the movie like it's not gonna bother me and then I'm half way through I'm like, oh fuck I'm not going to sleep tonight, am I xD I watched the trailer though.. :| ..most of it...without the sound. It looks great. x)

Aww being sick is the worst D: Hope you feel better soon.

Haha, don't even worry about it! It's not something I get offended over easily. :p I'm not directly effected by him, we've never really been close at all. Of course I am always a little bit worried about my Aunt and also my cousin's and their kids. I don't think he would do anything to hurt them directly but he is suicidal and that's a good way to hurt everyone indirectly. I hope he changes too, but something in my gut tells me he won't :( Oh well, you can't help everyone.

I am obsessed, like literally obsessed, with scary movies. I watched all seven saw movies back to back by myself and didn't even bat an eye. But put me in a real scary situation and that's when I start freaking out XD My dance studio is haunted, which I think I may have told you, and being there for lock up/staying the night is terrifying!! Haha, without the sound, nice XD

Okay, I think I need to go to sleep now. I'll talk to you sometime tomorrow probably! G'night :)

Oh phew :)

I wish I had your enthusiasm for being subjected to terrifying images. You watched all seven saw movies by yourself back to back. I can't. xD What's your secret?? Maybe if I just force myself to watch more of them?? I want to like scary movies, they're perfect for dates/romantic movie nights. That's how I got stuck watching Insidious xD Lol, why is your dance studio haunted, I can't remember if you told me that yet. I'll have to tell you about my "ghost" experience when I was babysitting once. Not now, because I'm about to sleep soon for crying out loud haha xD

Ok, goodnight! I'm going to finish your post before I head to bed. It'll be up by the time you wake up!

a. That post was really good, omg I'm crying b. holy man I feel so bad for Mila c. Booker is great, nuff said.

My secret? I'm just weird... haha. I've been obsessed with ghosts, vampires, werewolves, etc. since I was a kid, like I use to live for those little ghost story books that had a bunch of different stories in them that said they were true but actually weren't. Oh and when I was in grade five me and my best friend at the time would write scary stories and read them to people saying they were real. Ahaha. Some of the things I wrote were actually really disturbing... :p I'll try and find some to share with you.

Maybe it's actually a good thing that you're scared of them then... cuddle excuse! XD Haha, anyways my dance studio is haunted because it's like a million years old and nuns use to live there and it use to be a school and I'm pretty sure a bunch of people died there. Anyways, the studio owner has actually had two different, unrelated psychics come in and both of them said that the place was haunted by a younger woman who disliked children. Also, there is something in the basement, I'm not really sure what it is but one night my ballet teacher was at the studio late with some students and they started hearing this guttural noise that they'd never heard before and they just kept on feeling like something was there with them, and not in a good way. Another time one of my other choreographers saw a man walk past the door into the big studio late at night and when she went to go check and see what he wanted, because it was late and the office wasn't open and she had a room full of young girls with her, he was gone. Like she was standing right beside the door and in the time it took her to look out into the hallway he wasn't there and there was no possible way for him to have gotten out of the building. Oh man, there is like a million other stories, I could tell you... that place is just freaky. Okay, just one more because this one actually happened to me. So we were spending the night at the studio a couple weeks ago and I was screwing around trying to freak out one of my friends, so I pretended to conjure the ghost and was saying stuff like "If you're here bang the wall twice" and all of this shit, nothing happened. Then, later that night, my friend started freaking because she thought she had shut a door that was now open, so I peeked my head out in the hall and yelled "Oh ghostie" and then I swear to god right by my head something banged on the wall twice.

Yeah, so anyways it's really freaky. Haha, ooh babysitting ghost stories are the best! I'm listening.

Hey thanks! :D

Haha! Yes please do! xD I'd love to hear them.

Omg, how can you spend the night there after all that?? I guess you do have other people there with you so that makes it better right? Uh and if I saw some random guy walking around I would not try to go talk to him, now way, nuh uh.

*lights a candle* Ok...here's the story x) It's actually a house sitting story, so it's just me and this big creepy house, plus a bunch of pets I was taking care of. So when I was in high school one of my mom's friends would constantly talk about how all these teenagers she would ask to house sit for her would complain that weird stuff kept happening to them at night and how she had trouble getting anyone to watch her house more than once. I didn't really think anything of it, because I thought either they were just messing around or she was. Anyway, one day she asked me to watch the house for a week while she was out of town. She wanted me to walk the dog, feed the cats, get the mail, all that stuff. I also had to feed the chickens and collect their eggs every couple days (which was its own terrifying adventure because they tried to peck my fingers off xD). Anyway, she lived on a pretty sizable piece of land surrounded by woods. She'd had problems in the past with finding evidence that homeless people had been living on her land, but she'd never had any break-ins or anything. Her house has one big glass wall that is gorgeous in the daytime but scary as hell when it gets dark because you can't cover it. So as soon as the sun went down and I'd finished walking the dog, I would avoid going into the living room at all costs and hang out in the basement instead, where she had a spare room made up for me. But one night I could hear the cat upstairs meowing to be let in the sliding glass door in the living room. So I reluctantly went upstairs and let the cat in and then closed and locked the door. The next morning morning I go upstairs and find the sliding door that I swear to god I locked, partially open. Basically I lost my shit and left immediately to go tell my mom (xD) and she was like oh no, we'll have your dad check it out! So he did and of course everything was totally normal and he was like, maybe you accidentally left it open? And by that point I was starting to doubt myself. Anyway, I ended up sleeping there again that night and things got weird again the next day. It was sometime in the afternoon and I had been laying out by their pool, kind of dozing in and out. I decided to go inside and make lunch, but as I got to the door I could hear that the tv was on inside! It was the middle of the day and I wasn't freaked out or anything, I legitimately thought that I must have gotten the dates wrong, or she had come home early and hadn't wanted to wake me up or something. So I go inside and I'm saying things like, hello?? Are you home already?? And the tv is SUPER loud and I thought that was weird and when I got to the living room I saw that it was empty. Just the tv playing loudly to an empty room. I about had another heart attack, convinced this time that there was definitely someone else in the house. I left again, after I turned the tv off, and did NOT stay again that night. But it was ok, because she came home the next day and I told her what happened and she was like, yeah that's the ghost. D:

But I don't think this is really a ghost story so much as it's a story about how I was probably almost murdered. xD But something was doing all those things, and there was never any evidence that another person was in the house. Good god, you cannot pay me enough to watch her house again. ...Well, maybe a certain amount could convince me, but only if someone else spent the night with me!

Oh btw, now that it's daylight and the sun is shining, I watched the trailer with the sound on and it actually does look good xD It'd be fun to do a role play with story like that. I'm actually doing a ghost rp right now.

It isn't that bad, we locked ourselves in the big studio and by the time we went to sleep everyone was too overtired to care. But people have actually seen the male ghost multiple times. In the studios that have two doors you will see him walk past one but never the other and there is no way he would be able to get out of the building or go somewhere else without passing both doors. The female ghost haunts a room upstairs that I go in by myself, at night, all of the time, I've started locking myself in because the small storage room that is attached to it is super creeptastic.

My unconscious reaction to the 'one big glass wall' bit: "Oh fuck." Haha, that reminds me of the movie Have you Checked the Children. And the homeless people reminds me of that movie The Uninvited or whatever, the one where masked people try and kill off this couple and it was apparently based on real events or something. And, now that you have mentioned it, I am slightly freaking out because maybe there is homeless people living in the woods in my backyard. Great. XD But honestly that is absolutely terrifying/awesome. I probably would have cried like a giant baby whilst still thinking it was the best thing ever, haha. So the woman lived there by herself? In a haunted house with homeless people in the woods? That must take some guts... and how did you spend the night again?? I would have made my mom stay with me.

Ew, okay so now I am seriously freaked out :P

Right! I really want to see it so badly. You're doing a ghost rp right now?? So am I! It's like a creepy, Japanese horror movie style thing.

D: !!! why why why would you do that???

Oh, Have You Checked the Children sounds like a fantastic move to watch right before you babysit DX I think I might have seen The Uninvited actually with a group of friends! Or at least something like it. It had Liv Tyler in it and it she and her boyfriend get terrorized by some psychos in masks. It was fun to watch it with a lot of other people around haha xD And what you said about using scary movies as an excuse to cuddle is so true ;)

But yeah, she lives by herself and has never had a problem. She's always having people over it seems, or visiting grandkids somewhere else though, so I think she doesn't mind it. She talks about the ghost like it's hilarious but also kind of real. Yeah, you two would get along great xD I'll be over here, in the bright light, behind this locked door.

I spent the night again because I was feeling brave after my dad had been there and he really had me convinced that I must have opened the door and not realized. Which I really wanted to believe anyway, because that was less scary. I don't think I did leave it open though, looking back. Plus my dad was making me feel like I was being silly! Dad D< haha xD So I guess I'm a chicken. I am the friend who uses her other friends as human meat shields when we go through a haunted house.

Yep, I'm doing a ghost rp over a thread called Shackled Fate. It's also kind of a romance. Creepy Japanese horror huh? I've never seen the Ring, but I feel like it's such a classic that I probably need to :( Just let me find a cuddle buddy first xD

It's usually the only free space for me to practice my solos... heh. It's not that bad when I'm dancnig, the worse part is when I'm there super late and the massage therapist who works there doesn't realize I'm there and turns off all the hallway lights and then they are only lit by the red exit light and I have to run across the hallway to the light switch.

Yes! Liv Tyler!! Now I remember what it's actually called... "The Strangers" haha. I watched it with a couple friends too and that was maybe the only time I was ever scared during a horror movie (Only because shit like that happens in real life... ew). Anyways, I know it's true... I am the cuddle master, always have been always will be. XD

Haha, I bet we really would get along well, you can have your cheery sunlight :p Anyways, I think it would be so great to live in a haunted house. Like, I use to, when I was little. The basement in my childhood home was haunted, it was to the point that no one would babysit my sister and I alone and when you were downstairs by yourself you always felt as if there was someone lurking around the corner.

Haha, dads suck! Mine is like that too, but I think it's kinda their job. :) Aha, yeah *blushes* I am also the friend who uses other friends as human meat shields when walking through haunted houses. I get made fun of for it so badly. :p

YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THE RING? Oh my goodness, you have to. But watch Ringu instead, it's the original version and it is much better, if you can get past the subtitles. Also, watch The Grudge, it's super good.

Haha, that reminds me of being a little kid and sprinting like hell back to my room at night after making a trip to the bathroom xD

Yeah!! It's the stuff that you could imagine actually happening in real life that is the most terrifying. Things like a stranger breaks into your house, or stalks you at night, or smuggles you into the back of a van.. D: One movie I liked that you might not really consider scary at all was that Disturbia movie with Shia LaBeouf. That one was fun x) And just the right amount of terrifying for a wimp like me. All this scary movie talk makes me want to watch it again haha.

Oh ho, the cuddle master, eh?? Well, I think I'll have to challenge your title, since I'm pretty much a pro myself >x)

Wait.. I changed my mind, I wanna hang out with you guys xD I don't know if I'd want to live in a haunted house, but I do think it would be kind of fun to stay in like a haunted hotel or something for a few nights, with someone else.

Haha aww, how cute~ xD You must love walking through haunted houses anyway right? My friends don't tease me because they're all doing the same thing. It's like we just shuffle around each other constantly haha.

Eeep! uh no I haven't... is that bad? xD Never seen the Ring, never read Stephen King, what have I been doing all this time?? XD By "much better" do you mean "much more terrifying"?

Haha, that still happens to me every night :p I'm really not as brave as I may seem...

Ew, oh my god stop. My biggest fear ever is getting kidnapped, or getting stalked, or someone breaking into my house while I'm home alone. DX Anyways, I've never seen that movie. Is it like a psychological thriller or something?

Oh man, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Although my cuddle abilities are pretty superb

I did that once!! There's this motel in PEI that's haunted and when I was younger I went up with my family and stayed there. Every night at like 3am my aunt's phone would ring and when she picked it up no one was there. Some other stuff happened too but I didn't notice because I was too young.

I do love stuff like that! The only reason I'm made fun of is because I'll act all macho and then once we're actually in the house or maze (haunted corn mazes are the best, I worked in one once oh my god it was fun) I'm the biggest chicken ever.

Haha, it's okay you still have time to learn ;) And yes, that is exactly what I mean! Muahaha

Oh I LOVED your introduction of Lisette. She's absolutely perfect.

Haha, sorry, yeah those things freak me out too x) I'm not really sure how to classify Disturbia, since it's not horror, but it's not a psychological thriller either. I think I'd say it's just a thriller x) It's not bad, you should watch it sometime when you're bored and need a scare. It does have some of those realistic scary things in it though, so..

Heh, I guess we will. We'll never really know x') But you do watch more scary movies than I do, so maybe you get more cuddle practice than I do xD

Oh wow, that's cool! I'd love to stay at place like that, as long as I'm not alone lol.

Haha, aw you act all tough beforehand huh? xD I'd tease you too then. I'm usually bribed to go haunted houses, haunted woods, that kind of stuff. I've never been to a haunted corn maze before! Sounds extra creepy. I have worked in a haunted house once before when I was i high school, which was great >D heh heh.

I'm not going to be able to sleep at night by the time you're done with me. And oh great, I was afraid of that xD Which is scarier, Ringu or the Grudge?

Oh really? Thanks! :)

I'll certainly have to watch it!

Haha, but you're more scared of horror movies then I am so I don't necessarily have to cuddle when I watch them... :p

It was really cool, I wish we could go back now that I'm older and stuff but I'm pretty sure it's probably closed. The place was super old.

Ahh, corn mazes are extra creepy, especially when they have people with chainsaws chasing you through the maze. Once I was in one with my friend and they literally backed us into the corn, it was so scary. You worked in a haunted house?? Was it for a school thing or something in your community, oh and what did you do!? When I was in the corn maze I had on this super disgusting mask and a bloody lab coat and I followed people around and like backed them into the corn saying "You'd look good in my collection" or "Do you want to see my collection?" and then laughing creepily XD It was awesome...

Muaha, oh hell no! Personally, I think that The Grudge is scarier, but I guess it's all about opinion. It's been forever since I've seen either movie but I do remember being really freaked out by The Grudge. What's great about those movies is that their not all about the horror/killing/grossness they have really cool plots.

Hm, that is true, good point xD Scary movies and cuddling go hand in hand for me. ..unless I'm watching it alone (ha, never happens except when I watched Silence of the Lambs by myself), or unless it would be totally inappropriate for me cling to the person next to me xD That's why you've got to set yourself up beforehand with someone who won't care if you happen to cut off circulation to their arm because you need it to help hide your face from scariness.

Chainsaws, omg! I've never been in a haunted house or anything with those. I'd probably just die xD But lol, that's awesome that you got to work in the corn maze. The haunted house I was in was for school. There was a guide that led people through the the rooms and hallways, and my job was to stand quietly in a corner while everyone passed by and then the guide would shine the light on me suddenly and I'd scream and then I'd have to try not to laugh because people really freaked out hahahaha >D I was waaay too into it. It was even better when I recognized people heh heh. My face had makeup, black around the eyes and stuff so no one recognized me until I told them later. I much preferred to be the one scaring than to get scared lol.

Oh man, I better cherish it while I still can then xD Yeah, I think I've heard someone else say the same thing, which is that the plot is really what helps make them classics. Those are just a few classics I haven't seen though. The Shining, Psycho, some others probably lol xD Just add them to the list.

Silence of the Lambs is the best movie ever... just saying, I kinda love everything to do with Hannibal the Cannibal. I use to do this really good impression of him saying "Good evening, Clarice". XD And just because you're alone doesn't mean you can't cuddle... pillow cuddling is a thing, and cat cuddling I do that one all the time when my cat isn't being an asshole (he has the tendency to be super loud and annoying, he also drools which is gross). Haha, that some good piece of life advice right there! Cutting of the circulation in some random persons arm while trying to hide your face from the scariness of a movie is not fun x)

The chainsaws are the worst!! Ahaha, that sounds like so much fun! The not laughing part is the hardest though, and trying not to freak yourself out when you're standing there all alone. It's actually kind of a rush though, scaring other people, and I like thinking about how they probably went home and were telling their families stories about it, I just find that kind of amusing.

You've never seen Psycho? Or The Shining? *sobs* Oh my gosh... you probably wouldn't be that freaked out by either of them though. Maybe The Shining, just cause it's weird as fuck and there are some really freaky parts in it... actually now that I think about it that movie is terrifying, but Psycho is actually kind of funny because it's so bad.

Yeah Silence of the Lambs was really good. The only thing is - have you seen the movie Joe Dirt? xD - I started laughing when I saw the guy who made skin outfits, because I'd seen him parodied so much without actually knowing he was in the movie. Not the appropriate reaction xD But I still really enjoyed the whole thing. Not ever going to help anyone unload their car, even if they're crippled, of course, but that's probably a good rule to live by anyway.

Aw, cat cuddling! :D I wish I had a cat. We have Pumpkin, an orange tabby who lives here at my parents' house, but I don't have any pets where I live :{ At least not yet! Pumpkin's cute because he acts more like a dog than a cat lol. He's an indoor/outdoor cat and he always comes running up to us when gets home, if we've all been away for awhile. He begs for food and always has to be in the room with the most people, he's so social.

It is kind of a rush isn't it?? I might have enjoyed it too much.

This summer I'm gonna make it a point to catch up on all these scary classics. I'll watch one tonight too, which one should it be? Start me off on the LEAST disturbing one, por favor.

Haha, no you're right that is not the appropriate reaction at all... although he is kind of funny when you get past the whole psychotic/creepy/ewie part, especially after seeing him parodied (well, I would assume... I've never seen Joe Dirt or anything but it's kinda hard to take him seriously anyways). That is a really good rule to live by. Strangers + cars + nighttime = hell to the no.

Haha, aw! That's so cute!! my cat, Midnight, he's super skittish and he only cuddles some of the time. The other one, her name is Mittens, she will literally climb all over my computer and hop on my lap trying to get attention. It's super cute/somewhat annoying when I'm trying to do something and she doesn't go away. I have a dog too, his name is Koda we named him after the movie Brother Bear XD, and he is really weird. He's bigger and not aloud on the furniture so it's hard to cuddle with him but he'll get into these moods where he's super cute and he'll like nuzzle your hands and try and get you to pat him and it's adorable! Haha, anyways long story short pets are great.

Hehe, I understand.

Yes, that is a big must! Haha, start with Psycho, the old version and then watch the new(ish) version. They really aren't scary at all!

Aw your pets sound so adorable <3 Mittens and Midnight, I love it. And Koda from Brother Bear, what a great name for dog. Are you a big Disney fan? Did you see Frozen? My university has a student theater and I saw it there. I had those songs stuck in my head for days xD If I think about them too much, I might accidentally start singing again..

Man, I'm loving our rp! This is really one of the most fun I've done.

Ok, Psycho it is x) We'll see how this goes.. I'll slowly work my way up to Insidious Chapter 2. And I'll try that pillow cuddling you were talking about.

Haha, they're cute (most of the time...) XD Uhm, yes. If you think I loved horror movies just wait until I become a six year old and start talking about being a princess. When I was like 5 or 6 I use to tell people to call me Ariel because I wanted to be the little mermaid. Frozen is maybe the best Disney movie ever though, including The Little Mermaid. Haha, the songs are super catchy but my favorite part is that the story is based around young girls not needing a boy for "an act of true love" and that it ended up being her sister. It was sweet, and I just really loved it! XD

Ahh, me too! I've honestly never done something this high caliber without it failing miserably, and I also find that I'm really testing my writing skills a lot which is really nice. At risk of sounding kinda cocky I've never been able to find someone who was able to challenge my abilities until now...

Tell me how it goes! Haha, my guess is you'll laugh your ass off. I'm watching Insidious Chapter 2 tonight so I'll tell you how scary that is later. Pillow cuddling = a must!

Yes! I loved that about Frozen too, it really was one of the best Disney movies in a long time. Have you seen Saving Mr. Banks? That was also really good. I don't know what I was expecting, but it blew me away, very powerful. Haha, you asked everyone to call you Ariel? That's precious xD My favorites when I was little (and now too :P) were Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Aladdin. But of course I love all of them x) Anastasia too, even though it's not Disney, I think.

Aw, thanks! :D You deserve to sound cocky if you want, you're really very good! And speaking of challenging abilities, I loved that word that you used in one of your recent posts, svelte. I had to look it up because I didn't know what it meant. What a fantastic word. What I love about your writing is that you can be subtle and descriptive and you react to what I do, but also give me plenty to react to, the whole package x) Also, tell me if I'm wrong, but I think we're both a little competitive.. maybe a lot competitive haha. And somehow that helps make us write great posts (now I sound cocky too, so you're good x} )

I will, for sure xD Aren't there pop out moments though?? It'll probably be a mix of laughing and dying.

No... maybe. I think I might have watched it in class one time but I probably wasn't paying attention at all. What's it about?? Precious might be an overstatement, haha, I was weird. Just imagine a super nerdy child running around saying they want to be a mermaid, then add a couple years to the kid and you have me now. Ooh, I loved those ones too. Especially The Lion King. We did a dance production based off the musical of that one. Anyways, I'm pretty sure Anastasia was from Fox or something but yeah I really liked that one too. XD

Thank you! Haha. Oh that word. *fist pump* My thesaurus finally came through. I actually had to google how to say it though... XD Oh my goodness thank you, yes thank god I am a trifecta! Haha, the other night my friend told me that her boyfriend was a trifecta (three perfect things; his looks, grades and personality) so I told her I was a trifecta but she just kept talking about the guy (rude) but you have now proved it and I will be forever grateful.

Heh anyways... Those are basically all the things I love about your posts! (You're a trifecta too!) You're also really good at portraying characters, like their actions/emotions/thoughts etc. and you don't stray from their personalities just to 'fit' the situation/make them more 'likable'. I hate when people Mary Sue their characters and try to make them perfect. It throws all believability out the window because even fictional people need flaws. Hehe, as for the competitiveness: Yes, a lot competitive is maybe an understatement. It really does help though, and we do have pretty great posts ;)

Err, maybe some pop out moments? Haha, a mixture of laughing and dying seems about right. Speaking of dying, oh my god I can't deal with the opening high pitch music in Insidious. I'm dead.

Edit: Ew, I just re read that first part about "Anastasia being from 'Fox'" and it makes no sense at all, I meant like Fox Entertainment. Awkie
