*ghasp*
Ciskel came too shocked and ghasping for air as fear could be read on his face.
"LIFE DON'T TOUCH THE GREY ONE!!"
He then looked around, realised he had fainted and took a deep breath to regain his composure.
"Uhm.. what I'm saying is.. eh.. nobody touch the black one" Ciskel babbled. "But seriously, never touch the grey crystal." He added seriously while looking at Life.

"O-Okay." Life said jumping back.

[Jollan]

"Well, now that I know that, I can put my magic to range now, now THAT has been a thorn in my side for a while. He picked up a clear lacrima and looked for another thunder one. He tossed the empty one up and punched it in midair. the now black lacrima collided into the thunder one with surprising accuracy. Instantly, with a small flash, the two lacrima ricocheted from each other, both now empty.

Ciskel looked with exitement as the two empty crystals hit the dust.

"Glad to hear it! Can you toss another black one up?"
Ciskel got up and focussed, preparing himself to make the black lacrima float.

Ris claps and hops off her perch on the sill. "Hey I talked to master a little bit ago. Me being out here isn't on my own accord." She says looking at the crystals.

[Jollan]

"What do you mean?" Drake asked as he punched another crystal into the air.

Ris looked down at her boots

[Jollan]

Drake clipped his cuff back on. He turned his attention toward Ris to see what she had to say.

Ris lifted her head up. "Well the master is wanting me to ask you if you wanted to join the guild." Ris says quickly then looked back down at her boots.

[Jollan]

Drake's happy demeanor seemed to slip away. He wanted to join, but what would that cost? After all, he was still considered wanted and the quest to turn him in was still out there. He didn't want to have to bring any extra fighting over to the guild on his account. He liked it here, but he knew he would eventually have to leave

He thought hard for a moment and looked up to Ris. "I would be honored, to bear your symbol, but I don't think I can. What with business of me being wanted and all? I couldn't bring that to your doorstep."

Ciskel cast his magic on the flying lacrima, but nothing happened.
The black crystal dropped to the ground with a soft *plof*

"As I expected, the nature of a crystal filled with negative magic must mean that magic can't affect it."
Ciskel then heard Ris.
"That's a great Idea, we'll have a lot more time to learn about your magic! Plus I think a successful mission or two would be perfect proof of you not being dangerous, right?"

"We'll keep them from taking you. You're not a bad person Drake." Ris said and Life nodded. "It would be super cool having you in the guild Drake. Plus we won't give up until they let go of you're charges." She says crossing her arms her brown eyes glittering.

[Jollan]

Drake shrugged with a wiry smile, "I guess not," he started, "I won't be able to leave now even if I wanted to would I?" He laughed, his humor coming back to him.

"Nope we'd just hunt you back down again." The pink haired dragon slayer said as she smiled a smile that lit up her whole face.

[Jollan]

"Alright then, I guess that settles it. I'm in" Drake said. "Don't let me regret it." He said jokingly.

Ander was sitting in a makeshift bed in an abandoned apartment complex. He was fighting himself on his decision to carry out his assassination. It wouldn't be easy, and it was against what he stood for... but he had no choice. He pulled out a picture that was tucked into his gauntlet. It was a picture of his sister, who is a few years younger than himself. After years of work, he almost had the chance to see her again, but this one mission worse than any of the other illegal things he had done. He was given capture assignments, but never a mission to kill someone. True he had done it before, but they were evil people. From what he saw his target seemed innocent enough.

He stood up, looking out to the city through the gaping hole in the wall. He put his sister's picture away and pulled out a mission folder. He stole himself away for a few minutes to build his resolve and the opened the folder to see the fine details of the target. For Ander, this was the safest way to save his sister, so had set out to plan his attack, burning the folder with Drake's picture in it.

"Yay!!" Life said glompping Drake. Her smile almost as bright as her clothes

[Jollan]

"OOMF," Drake wasn't quite expecting that. "Heh, so, where do I check in?"

Ciskel thought he saw a hooded figure squatting at the top of a pillar on the wall next to them, but when he did a double-take, he was gone.

Ander wasn't going to engage. too many in one spot. He was kinda relieved he didn't have to fight yet.

Suzi looked at Eli."Well..i should get going." she smiled."I'm just pasting through."

"Where are you going?" Eli. Suzi shrugged

"Just follow Ris!" Life says hopping off of Drake. Ris nodded and made her way back inside the guild hall.

"Wait Suzi."Eli grabbed her hand, his sister only looked at him
