Not entirely. The G36K Carbine and the G36 are diff- wait, no, I see, those ARE the carbines. I always assumed that whenever they mention the G36, they used the standard model. Again, need to watch it once more

If you truly wish to withdraw your whole sheet over what colour uniform you get and which gun you wield, that is your choice.

When it comes down to a firefight, we will not be taking the exact make of your gun into account - bullets are bullets, and Lucian alliance soldiers will die whether its a P90, G36K or whatever other weapon you are firing at them. We aren't running a highly detailed tactical simulator here as not everyone happens to be in the military or like such things. If that means you are not interested in this RP, so be it.

Before I make a post for Kay, I'll have Joseph up shortly tonight I hope, I have one question. Keep in mind I'm not exactly military or weapon knowledgeable so images would be ideal if you could but what's SG standard issue in this? Mainly what weapons will she be given to use during departure? (I assume they would give her one at some point.) i know the uniform is a given, though being a 2nd Lt. I need to resource what it looks like, other then that I'm clueless even with the current discussion going on about plausiblity. I wanted to double check as she'll refer to it as what it is while I would just call I call it a gun, if she had one. XD Also, you might see at least where keeps one of her knives on her person.

Although, according to my character's bio, the Langford could have a Horizon, there's just absolutely no justifiable need for it. So it doesn't have one. But it could. That makes sense if your covert interstellar nation (empire?) only has a dozen or fewer ships to its name; you'd want each vessel to be as multirole as possible.

Can't really sleep so will throw in a bit here. Much like Altantis Personnel we'll all have a standard uniform, yes SGC personnel from their respective countries usually have their own uniform but this is slightly different especially as members of the same team can be from different places and it stops them being rag tag. Typically this will be the standard SG black however I am sure I will be able to throw some lovely greens and such in there later on. Of course feel free to wear your own camo trousers and jackets while not on a mission but on mission it will typically be SG black as per regulation for ship strike teams.

Weapons we'll probably go with something Stanag based though I'm considering bumping everyone up to the SCAR(MK17) models which pack a bit more of a punch but have just as many variations and additional tidbits.

Hm...I might have my guy bring along a special weapon that suites his needs...I figure the armory will contain G36 variants, P90's, M4's, actually instead of the M4 they might Switch to the more modern weapon the HK416, though since they would still have stanag mags you could bring a personal weapon that uses Stanags. Then for explosives, you'll have AT-4's, C4, M67 Frag grenades, flash bangs, among other things. Don't take my word for any of these though. That's just a guess and since Stanag weapons would actually be good for this kind of multi nation mission that would Include the British L85, The american M4's or M16's along with the HK416, The G36 which I want to say is mostly German, but I could be mistaken on this...But yeah, that's my input :p
