So I was wondering, do vampires still have a hormonal system? For example: What would happen if you scare the unliving crap out of a vampire? Does it produce adrenaline?

Hmm.... based on what we know up until now, vampires are like humans with increased speed and strength, and regenerative abilities, powered by blood. As such, it makes sense to me that vampires have hormonal reactions much like humans do.

next question:
Magnus and Rhyss have had their heart removed. Their body still works though. Don't you need a heart? Or is it only a symbolical tie to the mortal world? Maybe the hearts are in jars hidden somwhere cause you can still kill them by staking the hearts? I don't know. I'd just build a metal armor casing around it. If it's too tough for a wooden stick to pierce it doesn't matter how strong, fast or deceptive the other person is. you're not gettin staked.

Well, the vampires portrayed in this appear not to be very magical. When I stated that Dresden had his heart removed, which led to Magnus and thus Rhyss doing the same, I was working by the logic of Buffy, in which vampires are very magical creatures with a few very specific weaknesses. Here, they're just super-strong and tough humans who can regenerate, Personally, I'm retconning it for Dresden, as replacing one's heart with an artificial heart makes no sense in this setting.

well, martin's running around is getting a lot of people killed, plus, he's probably going to die. Gettign him captured is at least going to let him stay alive a while longer and spare the death toll.

And not to mention, even with adrenalin, is Martin going to be able to push Mithias off? Swing a sword while grappled? and then there's the point about the drone blocking the escape. You might be able to play that the drone doesn't want to blow Mithias up, so he doesn't detonate the building. Then, Martin could escape. That would suffice, possibly even better than Mithias had planned it.

...but that adrenalin is going to wear off, and I'm sure the crash is hard. What do you want to do?

Martin gave him a bunch of reasons to not blow him up. Before you impaled Martin.
Anyways, if he does explode immediately he'll take out Martin, Mytias and all the SOLDIER characters who are at base right now. Matt, Lightning, Axel, I bet I'm forgetting a few. He'll take out any chance SOLDIER has of defeating Magnus.

So I bet the robot will either not detonate, or doubt this decision for long enough that martin can get to cover.
