Welcome one and all to SS:EH! This is an adaptation of the highly immersive RP: SS:ICD and promises to be just as amazing as its fore father! So sit back and smell the flowers people, you're gonna be here awhile.
The initial version was believed to be confusing by some, I hope in this brand new and freshly organized version the same issues will not occur.
so without further ado:
Hexes: The hex is a smooth, six sided, and hexagonal device that allows a creature to tap into an otherwise benign force within them known as mana. Mana is held within the mana pool, it works much like a muscle, the more it is used the larger and stronger it becomes, allowing for longer and higher usage. Hexes use this 'Mana' to effect the world around the wielder in unique ways. with uses varying from increasing your cooking skill, to blowing up planets, hexes are extremely useful, and valuable, with even the weakest catching ridiculously high prices. Hexes can be used to imbue items with certain properties. The item must meet two requirements before being able to be used however;
1: It will have to be capable of withstanding the effect of the hex (IE: a wooden sword imbued with a hex of fire... you get the point.)
2: The item will have to have a hex slot. Hex slots are of the exact dimensions of the hexes themselves and can take in a hex as long as one is not already present.
Hexes vary in size as much as they do in effect and strength. The largest hex known is the phoenix hex, which spans the entire underside of Liliane's cathedral.
The World: New Altaia, Liliane's Sky Cathedral;
One of Five massive Floating City Fortresses, The Cathedral, as it is commonly known, has been scouting the world searching for new lands to settle for 80 years. It has recently broken out in a civil war. The city itself is lain out in such a way as to maximize production, so to insure the survival and prosperity of its passengers. The city is shaped like a massive hex, a massive main walls separate the inner and outer sanctums from each other, whilst a second main wall separates the outer sanctum and the outer hull of the ship. Further secondary walls separate the outer sanctum into six districts. The Following Diagram lays out the cities set up, it does not include the Lower Sanctum, which will be covered later in the OP:
The Outer Sanctum:
Districts: The Water District: Incomplete
Flight District: This District Covers the training of Pegasus riders and their mounts. The following document shows a Pegasus rider flying through the flight district:
The Machiner's District: (Known commonly as Tinkerton) Acredtited to Cartwright:This district was a district that focused primarily on education and research. There were monasteries, labs, and churches scattered about the district with their own beliefs and studies. It was in a sense for the more intelligent people who focused on improving the livelihood of those in the outer sanctum. They weren't the military's favorite district but they weren't the most crime ridden districts around. It was somewhat clean and those who lived in the district were more pacifist than other districts.
The culture varies but when it boils down to it everyone believed in the humanistic values, the potential and power of one man. That empowers many people to do what they do: find ways to make Hex more safe and useful, or develop medical practices to save lives, or even stare up at the sky and wonder why the big fireball up there still moves.
The researchers, historians, priests, and traders seem to get along in the district. The only problem is when people begin disagreeing with one another on religion and science. They all were united, though, willing to reach as far as the curious eye can see.
When the civil war broke out many of those who were known Hex researchers were torn away from families and forced into house arrest by the military. They were forced to create weapons and nonlethal substitutes for the military as well as investigate the Hex more deeply, making risky tests that could put their lives on the line. The other groups weren't soo fortunate as well, they were forced into a curfew which they abided by until the word went around that people were actually being killed by military soldiers for holding to their beliefs.
The pacifist population became defensive, although they looked for peace they knew very well it was not worth appeasement. That was the day when they rose up against the soldiers.
There were many attempts at trying to find immortality and immunity to aging. Many researchers have tried and failed only to have their dream of making that power come true. It was unknown if anyone was even close to pointing to the right direction, but it will be more difficult to find out since war has interrupted the flow of knowledge within the district
The Fire District: Incomplete
The Carpenter's District: This District is responsible for any finished products (Couch's, houses, jewelry) as well as their distribution. This district resembles one massive construction yard, with some houses checker boarded throughout.
The Farmer's District: This district is a massive artificial farm land and it is responsible for the production and distribution of all food resources.
The Thieves Guild: Based within the Carpenter's District, this secretive guild is rumored to have connections in both the resistance and the military.
The Inner Sanctum: Home to the Military Headquarters, Training grounds, Barracks, and the Spire of the Heavens. This area is the last military controlled zone, however it was initially built to be self sufficient; so the military has simply shut themselves in, biding their time for when the resistance is weakest.
The Lower Sanctum: This is the underbelly of the ship, most of which is filled by the massive phoenix hex that spans the entirety of the ship. Above it is a maze of corridors and boiler rooms that keep the fires going. The Phoenix hex is the only hex capable of being powered through a means other than mana. That means is fire, And perhaps this fact is the secret to finding the secret entrance to this dark place. Many military secrets are held here, and some may be best left undiscovered...
The War: As previously mentioned the ship has broken out into civil war in the past months. The Resistance is comprised of the people that reside in the outer sanctum, fed up with mistreatment and unfair enforcement, they lashed out. So far the campaign as been successful, but a seemingly insurmountable barrier has been raised. The Inner Sanctum has been completely shut off from the outer. The resistance lacks leadership, and is losing heart. All while the military sits back and watches. It is time for leaders to arise, for secrets to be uncovered.
Will you relight the fire within the peoples hearts?
Will you become the Captain of the cathedral?

3: Have fun and be accepting: Basically don't be a negative Nancy, leave CS judgement to me, and DO NOT tell someone that I will most likely not accept something. You do not know that, only me and Hitler can make decision's on acceptance.
