Name: Aurelius Dictatus
Age: 37
Appearance: Aurelius was always in form, having taken up wrestling at a young age and well into his military career it helped keep him fit and healthy. 5'11'' Tall and weighing 210 lbs of near pure muscles he is an imposing figure. His hair is dark brown and short kempt, with dark brown eyes he kept a vigil and control over everything under his jurisdiction from his humble beginnings as a grunt. He wore many a scar on his body, the most prominent being the scar on his left thigh that it leaves one to wonder a miracle he didn't bleed out from such a wound, now however it plagues him with a pain that can only be treated by herbs leaving him unable to ride anymore.
Bio: He was born in the Sicilian provinces to a long line of soldiers spanning a dozen generations, his most prominent ancestors having been generals of great prowess. His father was a stern and hard man, made so by the military that he lived and killed for. He was rarely home but when he was he made sure to pass on important militant knowledge to his son. His mother was a gentle and caring woman, soft and skittish, terrified of her husband at times when he would beat the slaves for petty transgressions but even so she couldn't help but love the man for her sons sake at least. He grew up in comfort on a decent sized family estate with a villa and adjoining village.
He left to join the legions when he was 17 and has been fighting and killing ever since, growing in experience, skill and popularity amongst his peers and enemies. He fought many of Romes enemies including Thracians, Gauls, Germanians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Spaniards. In one such campaign he earned a debilitating wound that led to his honorable discharge. He was given ten acres of land in the Spanish provinces and a small garrison force to command, protecting the trade routes from the common raids by Brigands, deserters, and other such threats.
He lives now on his estate owning dozens of slaves and having several roman families living under his protection including his own wife and three sons, his brother and his mother who came to join him when his father was killed during a pillage.
