Cassie watched him. She was getting....angry. The way he talked to her was like he thought her to be trash. And maybe to him, she was. Her jaw clenched at his words, and when he pulled out the weapon, she knew she had two choices. One would be to let him kill her. But then, what good would that do her? She felt she came here for a reason. She didn't exactly know what that reason was yet, but it had to be important. If he killed her, then whatever that reason was would be cast aside and her coming here would be pointless. That left her with option number two. Fight. She didn't want to fight him, nor any of the other humans in these caves. She knew it would likely just back her seem more like an Android bent on destroying the colony. But it was her only choice left.
She heard the gun click off safety and that's when she moved. Without warning for the human male, she lept forward, tackling him to the ground, one of her hands wrapped around his neck just enough to put emphasis and hold him down while allowing him to breath, and the other hand went to hold the wrist that held the gun, pinning it down to keep him from using it as she glared at him, "I've been trying. SO hard to keep my mouth shut. To make myself seem in the least bit less threatening so something like this wouldn't happen. So that maybe you and the other ignorant humans here could see me as something more than just an android meant to kill. I don't want to kill. And I don't want to hurt anyone. You want to know why? Because killing and harming people makes me just like those damn robots who made me this way."
She glared down at him, though angry tears ran down her cheeks, "Its true what I said. I don't know why I came here. BUT I do know whatever that reason is, Kenji has something to do with it. I don't know if killing me would hurt him. I don't even know if he cares about me any more the way he left out so suddenly like that. But I'll be damned if I let you think of me as a liar. As a Android who came here to kill everything she once loved, because its not true."
She slowly loosened her grip on him and stood up straight, looking down at him, the glare still on her face, "Go ahead. If you still want to kill me. Fine. But just know, that makes you just like those robots. Killing someone who is innocent of any crime other than living."
