We always had medium sized thanksgivings. I think we used to alternate between my grandma on my dad's side and my grandparents on my mom's side for thanksgivings, but when both my grandmothers died, we started hosting it at our house, where it's been like 90% my dad's side of the family, and then we'd bring my remaining grandfather over. My boyfriend wanted me to join his family for thanksgiving, but I can't abandon my mom and dad for the holiday now. Not when in the past year my grandfather died and my brother moved away and can't make it back.
Ugh, between trying to do what's best for my family and seeing my brother and trying to spend time with my boyfriend, this is gonna be a tricky holiday season. I'll probably be doing a lot of driving and spending a lot of money, because I got Christmas, and Hanukkah, and my mom's birthday, and my boyfriend's birthday, within like a week of each other.
I was rereading your reply, starting to formulate my reply, and I just realized something - Jaspin's furious that Elizabeth is robbing him of the release of death. But vampires can be killed. It can happen. After he's turned, does he ever put a concentrated effort into dying?
