"Wouldn't it be sooo awesome if you met "the one" while on this trip?" Anna gushed as she looked up at her big sister. Elsa yanwed, still half asleep and in bed when Anna barged into her room.
Anna grinned, skipping from foot to foot, waiting for Elsa to agree with her. Why shouldn't Elsa agree? It was totally, one hundred percent, the best idea ever. She knew the quest should be all about her and Kristoff, but Elsa deserved way more than what she had.
"Anna, there is truly no such thing as "the one"," Elsa said with a shake of her head. She climbed out of bed, and side-stepped Anna as the girl bounced around her. Really, the energy she had. "Didn't you think Hans was the one?"
Anna pouted. "That's not fair. I was so young!"
"It happened a month ago."
"It really did happen a month ago, Anna," Olaf agreed in his cheery snowman voice. He seemed to pop out of nowhere, making both girls jump. A spark of frost shimmered around Elsa's hands.
Had it only been a month? A month was such a short time, but so much happened. Elsa became queen, Elsa lost control of her emotions and froze all of Arendelle. That had been a shocker.
'Let's see, what else,' Anna thought. 'I went on an adventure to save my sister, met Kristoff, got attacked by wolves, there was a scary snow golem, huge ice castle and Elsa hit my heart with her power. Then Hans betrayed me and Elsa. Tried to kill Elsa. I punched him in the nose. Kristoff asked Elsa if he could marry me... '
By now Elsa had walked away to get prepared for their upcoming journey. Olaf as usual tottered off, following his snow queen.
"I'm going to be married. Yay. But not before Arendelle tradition says I have to go on a couple's bonding quest with my betrothed." She swooned at the word betrothed. "My betrothed and sister, that is. That means Olaf will be coming as well. Poo and I wanted to be all alone with my one and only!"
But of course, tradition also said that the bride to be's closet relative had to come along to act as a chaperone, and since Elsa was her only family, that meant it had to be her, queen or not. The castle and kingdom would be left in the hands of Elsa's most trusted advisers.
"Kristoff, Sven, whoo hooo," Anna yelled as she ran down the halls of the castle. "Are we packed? Let's go. Daylight is burning away." It wasn't. It was only 8am. She had been so excited that she got her sister up at this hour so they could be ready sooner, rather than later. All that was left was to get a hold of Kristoff. Adventure and magic was out there, waiting for them.
All of them.
