A dark shadow maneuvers through the waves, and in less than a second of people spotting it, a serpentine head brakes through the water surface and hisses. Lester can hear the beast from bellow the deck, and doesn't doubt that people a mile away can too. Men rush by him in the gun deck, frantic and waiting for orders.

"I know the creature is already in front of us, but it will do no good to fire until the ship has been steered a bit to the side. I need powder monkeys down here now. We need to move quick!"

He moves toward a small opening to get a good view of the beast. It's large, probably longer than the ship with a head large enough to swallow five or so men at a time. It's a sickly green and looks ready to strike. Hopefully the swivel cannons can delay an attack until the ship is adjusted for proper cannon fire.

Alexi seen the beast and she grabbed a handful of harpoons and she pushed a lifeboat off the side and jumped in it, she then tied a roped to the boat and she awaited the beast to come near. As the beast crossed, Alexi threw the harpoon and hit the beast, allowing him to drag her along the water.

"I the same, lass." Carmen replied with a smirk of her own towards the salty rogue, her equal surprisingly. "Ya got as much flame to your heart as I, and I like that about ya. Maybe after all this blows over, we can have a nice bottle of rum together." And with that, her gaze moved from the cold lass towards the sea, whereupon her eyes alit with Hell's very flames at sight of the monster peeking his head through the waves. "Jupiter's balls!" She growled clenching her fists. "Captain! Sea devil on the port side!" She rushed towards the edge of the ship, diving off into the water, drawing the knife she always kept in her boot, the only weapon that didn't get the locker. She swam upside Alexi's tiny dingy, hoisting herself aboard. "I'm comin' with ya, lass! We're takin' this hellbeast together!" LIke Carmen would ever pass up the opportunity for a good kill.

A sneer had found it's way to Kristion's face as the monster broke through the water and began to eye the ship. This was not his first sea monster encounter but his anger to these beasts never seemed to die, the memories of good men being eaten didn't help. He eyed the beast for a moment before he began to steer the ship so the broad side cannons would have a better shot at the beast.

The corners of his lips twitch up in annoyance as he watches the feisty women approach the serpent. "What? If we use cannons we'll kill them!" Lester lets out a string of cuss words before running toward a gun deck commander.

"Direct the men in firing if Alexi and Carmen can't divert the beast's attention. The target is big, so it shouldn't be hard," he pats the man on the shoulder before running back toward the deck.

Water seeps into his clothing as he allows himself to slide across the slippery surface, hitting the railing with his feet. Scarred fingers wrap around the rail, and he moves toward Celeste.

"Help me with the swivels. Those two are going to get themselves blown up if this isn't dealt with fast! Be mindful of our lovely mates though, don't want someone missing a limb, you know? "

"Keep her steady! I'm going in!" Carmen commanded to Alexi, standing up in the small boat and making her way towards the rope. She latched onto it with her knife clenched between her teeth, wrapping her legs around the thick rope and inching her way towards the gargantuan beast, fighting against its rancorous thrashing and writhing that shook the very rope she scaled in an attempt to reach it. Finally in range of the creature, she flung herself onto its wet, scaly exterior and grabbed the long dagger from her mouth, plunging it deep into the sea devil's meaty neck. "Take that, ya heathen son of Neptune!" Again she stabbed the beast, blood gushing onto her reddened skin with every impalement of her crimsoned blade. "Ya ain't nothing but a fuckin' sea snail compared to me!"

"Ack! Ye hare brained fools!" Celeste bellowed over the rails towards the longboat.

Celeste held on to her hat and squinted to avoid the wind bourn rain peppering her eyes as she peered into the wind to see. She watched the small boat as it was struck by a fifteen foot wave and, carried aloft, was hurled into the air. The damn fools. What they were doing was near suicide, there was every chance they might find themselves crushed if the Nature's Bounty landed atop them. Then there was the beast itself, almost as large the Bounty herself; a single lash from its coils would swamp them and a single bite might crush them both in its maw.

"Swivel gun aye sir!"

Celeste waited, timing the waves, letting go of the railing after the Nature's Bounty struck the trough between waves and ran down the staircase. She almost made it before the next wave began accelerating them upwards once more. For several long moments the blonde French woman was in freefall, less than a foot from the wooden deck. Weightless she floated, arms stretching out for a handhold before she was slammed hard against the wooden planking with enough force to tear the breathe from her chest.

Gathering herself up she scrambled on hands and knees, at first holding on to the main cargo for support, until she finally scrambled over to the railing sporting the swivel gun.

"Blimey, when this is done, I might consider practicing keelhauling on a few bilge rats," he jokes while watching the quartermaster make her way to a swivel cannon with relief.

A giant wave pushes the ship back and his nostrils flare. These aren't optimal conditions for a swivel cannon. Waves can alter their course if enough water is pounding down against them. He eyes the waves like a hawk, timing when he fires rounds. Didn't he ask the lasses to handle the swivel cannons? This is a mess! How many crew members are alive? Did anyone fall overboard? Was anyone... eaten? No, that wouldn't make sense, the creature was too distracted to make dinner out of anyone. Though, he wouldn't doubt a dozen or so men fell off the vessel. Celeste almost fell, and she had a death grip on the railing.

"Must be a messenger for Davy Jones' locker," a grim expression stretches across his face as he mumbles, not wanting other crew members to hear him.

The beast thrashes around, trying to throw the women off its back. If this continues, the monster will only become agitated, "If the beast looks like it's going to turn on the ship you need to begin firing."

What a situation, he thinks while shouting commands. Those two better pull off a miracle!

Fahd was at his surgery table when he woke and when he observed his surroundings finding that there was a storm outside and the crew supposedly running about frantically topside he was surprised he did not wake sooner. Thinking this to be a normal storm he rested in his seat for another five minutes or so before going to a small hole in one of the walls. Fahd looked out the hole to see a storm as black as night as as much fury as Cthulhu himself, and Fahd did think it was Cthulhu when he saw the giant snake leaping out of the sea "...!" is all he could say. Fahd began to pace up and down not entering sure what he should do, Fahd then made his way back to the window and observed agian only to see a small boat with two figures in it, in a small fit of rage at their stupidity he said "Stupid fools! I swear... *mutter* ... Even a blind man could see that!!"

Alexi held the rope steady as Carmen went in, she had a pistol aimed at the beast if things were to turn for the worst. She then fired at the beast to weaken it in hopes to slow it down.

Kazumi was in her hammock covering from toes to head with a blanket, for some reason she was really afreid of stoms, maybe some kind of childhood trauma when training, or maybe that courage test in the mountains, she got lost for days and was impossible for her friends to find her until the storm had passed, whatever the reason it was impossible for Kazumi to hear all the noise coming from the deck

Fahd began to pace up and down his qauters. His qauters was not exactly personal for there was a open door which was connected to the rest of the crews qauters and his room was only slightly larger to provide a small desk and a surgical table. After a while Fahd left his room and began looking to see if he could find any liqour to drink while there was a commotion topside.

Marry was busy tuning her lute when she heard the commotion. Instantly she ran to the surface and looked at the storm in awe, it was perfect, the image of the rain and the thrashing storm itself inspired marry to begin playing. The music was surprisingly upbeat and energetic yet it seemed evil and portrayed a fight between the boat and the sea itself. Marry was surprisingly stable despite the rocking of the ship she seemed to have a gyroscope that kept her from falling, when it was in fact the amount she was in the zone. She had not yet began singing as she would add the lyrics later.

Wrenching and writhing against the agony of her killing blade, the sea beast thrashed its gargantuan, ugly head left and right in an attempt to shake loose the fearsome woman grasping onto the fins and scales of its thick, armored neck. Her dagger was able to make a few good stickings into the demon, blood pouring ever viscous from its battle wounds and spraying a warm crimson squelch onto the maniacal face of Carmen as she hacked away at the monster serpent's flesh with her dagger. Much damage she could've done with her twin cutlasses, but a knife would suffice. However...it was only agitating the sea devil more, and suddenly, without warning, the beast gave one more thrashing of its head, this time sending Carmen airborne towards the ship. She landed onto the deck of the Bounty, but not smoothly, crashing fierce into a pile of crates and skidding to a halt in splinters.

Lester leans forward, trying to catch a better view of the creature. Water rises around it, splashing up like waves as the serpant thrashes back and forth. It isn't backing down. He fires the swivel cannon several more times in a steady rhythm matching the waves and Mary's composition.

"There's no blowing the damn thing down, is there?"

Hazel eyes watch in alarm as Carmen's figure comes crashing down onto the ship, "Are you okay?"

After confirming she's still alive and well (with a few splinters and injuries) he narrows his eyes in thought. At least they have one less crew member to worry about blowing to shreds. Alexi is the only liability now. The swivel cannons aren't doing any good. They aren't powerful enough to cause fatal wounds. What will it take to kill this beast? Suddenly, he jumps up, straightening his poster. All snakes die when you decapitate them. His eyes wildly dash from the larger side cannons to Celeste, "Do we have any long chains?!"

"Carmen, man this swivel for me!"
