What's your race like? Just asking because I'm writing up my racial details in WordPad and I figure we might share some traits, being so close. So far, I've got Mongoloid un-elves.

Can I see a picture of your race or some details? I haven't think of a race yet..

Assuming the map just reaches around like a globe, then our nations are only split by the sea; maybe there'd be some contact. I'm open to trade, although my people probably think your folk to be very excentric. Military action from either side is probably not worth the investment, and there's no real incentive to pay a lot of attention to Crayven's happenings.

This is all I have so far:

Name: Elayian
Classification: Sentient
Appearance: Often mistaken for elves, elayians are a race of humanoids that inhabit the lands of Palmydia. Like elves, they have distinctive knife-ears, although they jut out to the sides more, rather than stretching upwards. They stand at six feet on average, the shortest of them not below five and a half and the tallest not beyond seven. Elayians have very mongoloid faces, characterized mainly by their thin eyes, prominent cheekbones and flat faces. Their complexion varies on their locale; northern Palmydian elayians are paler, while those to the south have darker skin tone. Naturally, their hair grows lank and blue-black or dark brown.

I suppose the only race that I really would make contact with on a regular basis is sovereign. And maybe the green leafe. Possibly Alf.

Hazmat, it would help if you posted the current map in the NP for either the OOC or the nation dump, just so we know who's nearby.

Well, the Ralgons are extremely heavy on maritime endeavors. Chances are that they trade with people on both sides of their seas/oceans.

@Rare: Since you gave your name an Asiatic name, and my people have Asiatic features, I figured our section of the world would have a similar feel; either culturally, aesthetically, technologically or otherwise. Though they don't have to if either of us take more isolationist positions or have flat out different societies.

Hmmmm? What would you like to work on with the Dominion?

The Ralgon Empire also sports some heavy Asiatic influence. It's mostly a mishmash of British and Japanese culture, with Roman elements thrown in.

Certainly possible that some Tarix-Na may have wandered down that far, though it has likely been some time since, unless Hel-Core was welcoming of them.

Well...probably not... Most likely killed or enslaved.. We're not the most welcoming of people.. But yes to have at least some relations is better than none.

Enslaved wouldn't be possible, as the Tarix-Na would have died from asphyxiation for that to be practical. Hel-Core is probably marked as unfriendly with that being said, so I don't think anyone else might wander that way in the foreseeable future. The Dominion tends to shy away from those who are too hostile, preferring to keep within their forest until the hostility is over.
