The angel wasn't angry or sad at being pushed away. He simply flowed with the motion, as if he didn't care. As pink eyes stared vacantly, as Harp thought. His eyes met his victims. Funny... It wasn't often a demon was considered a victim in anything, especially in affairs such as this. The snow haired male thought about how this could have ended very, very differently. If Bel had known he was a cupid from the start, then he would have been slaughtered before any of this had begun. Perhaps Bel would torture him, as he said he would. But now...

Nobody was immune to love-inducing arrows. And everyone could become a slave to their emotions. While seemingly harmless, a cupid could cause intense havoc. However, Harp wasn't about to rejoice. He felt inevitably guilty. Even though Bel was a demon, what did he do to Harp...? More importantly, what was Harp going to do to him? He looked so hurt. But Bel was powerful, that was for sure. This arrow would only last for a week, maybe a bit longer if he was lucky. By then, he would have to use more arrows and...

Harp realized he had screwed himself over. Sooner or later, Bel would come out of his state and then... probably exact revenge upon him. So, what to do? Harp could make this demon do practically whatever he wanted, so maybe he could have a few laughs along the way. Then again, maybe Harp really did want someone to hold on to at night to keep him safe and warm...

But there was one thing he knew he wasn't going to do for certain. Turn Bel in. Harp had already done this to him. He wanted... Something else from the demon. WHat exactly it was, however, was a mystery. "Bel..." Harp murmured soothingly. "It's okay. I don't think someone as... hot..." He repeated, "As you can be so nasty... Or shall I say, 'abundantly warm'?" He chuckled. "But... I don't plan on hurting you." Harp spoke with honesty, slowly creeping closer. "I don't plan on turning you in, Bel. I don't." Harp said, reaching to lace his fingers in the other's hair.

Bel looked at Harp with disbelief. Did not plan on hurting him? He had already done that with this magic! But the angels words seemed to have struck a cord somewhere within him, a faint laugh escaping him. Hearing the words 'abundantly warm' made him feel... just a bit better about this situation. He really wished though that such emotions had not been dragged back forcefully to the surface, such emotions that he had not shown in forever... such human like emotions. He still felt so heavy though, a feeling he could not quite shake, even as he attempted to evade Harp's touch.

But instead of fleeing down the stairs as he wanted, something compelled him to remain in place. Resulting in him merely lowering himself a bit as the others hand dives into his thick mass of dark orange hair, trying to appear smaller than the angel. His hood finally fell back, revealing that not all of his hair was dark orange. In fact, his roots were nearly as black as his eyes, several other darker colored thrown into the mix. There was a small silver stud piercing in the top of his right ear, too. Despite having tried to duck away from Harp's touch, he seemed to actually calm down with the touch. A held breath is slowly released, one he was not even aware he was holding.

It was relaxing, he realized, quite content suddenly. But thoughts still plagued him as he tried to slink away again, away from Harp's touch. "Maybe... not nasty." He mutters out rather softly. "But dirty ...so filthy. You can't see it..." He is silent for a few moments. "Please." His 'please' sounded much more like a pleading cry, there was obvious strain in his voice. But what was the please for? Please don't touch him? Please touch him more? The more Bel attempted to resist, the more he was drawn in. It was like he was being dragged by his horns into a cage, the weight on his chest only grew a bit heavier. All he wanted to do now was curl up in a ball within his own small territory and weep. He did not like this, not one bit. Someone suddenly becoming so important, someone he couldn't just ignore. If his arms did not feel like they were being held in place by the divine himself, It was quite possible Bel would have ripped Harp to shreds. Or hugged him until all the air was out of his lungs while crushing bones... Or... maybe just hug onto the angel of his pain while he sobbed. He had full reason to want to kill this angel, full reason to hate him more than the rest now, but with the powerful effect of the magic... he just couldn't.

Harp hummed soothingly as Bel's hood fell. He raised his other hand to caress the lovestruck demon's arm. As Harp continually stroked his victim's orange mop of hair, he noticed that it became darker as it got closer to the root. Harp wondered vaguely if Bel did this on purpose, or if it was natural. He also noticed a metal earring on the demon's ear. Pink eyes glittered with fascination.

Since Bel had decided to get down just a bit, did this mean he was giving up? Or perhaps he just was tired, or wanted to shrink? At any rate, it appeared that Harp's arrows had done their job. The poison of love was already making its way through Bel's body. It would swim around in his deepest desires, poke at his heart, and tug at his inner warmth... Well, not exactly. Unfortunately, what Harp did remember about shooting arrows at demons was not good. The thing with darker beings was that they had no light whatsoever. Nein. Zero. Lacking. Missing.

Since there was no love to be pulled out, there was only one thing that could surface- lust. However, Harp knew Bel wasn't entirely lost. If he was pure evil, why did he offer his help and assistance? There would be no easy answer to this question. It wasn't farfetched to say, though, that Bel was more likely to experience extreme lust than sweet love. Harp's gaze reached out to Bel.

"Everyone's dirty. Nothing's clean. I don't want to clean you..." Harp murmured, bringing himself closer. "You don't... Want to be cleaned, do you? All I want to do is to help you... Plus, I can make you feel... feel really, really good." The cupid soothed.

One by one Bel's thoughts were slowly vanishing as he listened to Harp speak, the angel's pink-eyed gaze holding his attention quite well as he looked into its depths. He tried to tell himself that he did not like this, not even in the slightest. But as the angel stroked his hair, he suddenly wanted the soft strands tugged on. Roughly. With the panic having all but been dispelled, the truth was starting to show with the others advances.

It had been so long since he had felt such a thing. The weight on his body was slowly vanishing, not that he really noticed. Sucking in a sharp breath, a faint smile forms upon Bel's face. "I feel we speak of a different kind of dirt... but this kind is much more acceptable." He murmurs softly, suddenly pulling his hands from his pockets and closing the small distance between them, pressing himself roughly against Harp. Though Bel kept himself lowered as he did so, it really did not seem to be much of a problem for the demon. In fact, it seemed to be more of a natural state for him if anything. Keeping ones head so high all the time must be exhausting, and with how he was feeling currently, he had no desire to stand on such an obscene pedestal any longer.

Bel's breathing was quite heavy, his nostril's flared. He just couldn't get quite close enough to the angel, he found the clothing to be quite a bother too. It almost sounded painful as he managed to speak again. "Promise?" He rumbles out roughly, slamming his bright emerald eyes shut as the sound of his own rapidly beating heart reaching his ears.

Harp smirked slightly as Bel seemed to have given in to the desires that were brought out. He leaned into the demon, relishing in his warmth. Harp's pink eyes were soft with smugness.

As goosebumps began to run over his skin and he shivered instinctively, Harp listened to Bel. He laughed a little bit. Bel sounded like a child. In fact, Harp found it rather... cute? Usually one wouldn't call a demon adorable, but Harp couldn't help but wonder how emotionally mature this demon was. Being able to kill so freely would make one fairly immature. What if Bel had never been told it was a sin? Then again, he was a demon, so it didn't really matter.

The cupid wondered where Bel's accomplices were. Usually demons roamed the human world in groups, but Bel seemed to be alone. Maybe he wasn't that 'type' of person. Harp had a hard time envisioning Bel joking around with other demons. Come to think of it, did demons joke around and socialize? Angels did, though Harp was never really a part of it. They would shut him out, ignore him, shoo him away. Angels could be incredibly cruel. Harp had always wondered why he was ostracized. It was due to the fact he was a cupid. Cupids often turned against the Seraphs, and they were treated rather poorly as a result.

The white-haired angel grinned. "Of course." He promised. Harp's own heartbeat raced against Bel's.

"Good." Bel muttered out roughly. "Because..." The demon's voice was gradually getting softer as he spoke, his words just starting to seem to fade. "This feels so unreal. It is as if I am going to suddenly float away if I don't touch you." Though the reason for his voice getting softer was up for question as he suddenly leaned more of his weight against Harp, gripping on a bit tighter to the angel.

He liked the closeness, a lot. If he could manage it, he'd be rubbing his head against the angel like some love-struck puppy dog. But that would require him to straighten himself up, and he was just a bit too comfortable at the moment to do so quite yet. He focused though instead on the sound of heartbeats. A sound that was so unfamiliar, yet warming at the same time. He couldn't quite grow tired of it, he found out rather quickly. Maybe it was the rhythmic they made, or possibly the fact that it was still there was just so much of a shock he couldn't quite grasp it.

Bel had honestly never spent much time with other demons, not even in the human world. He avoided them and they tended to avoid him in turn, so he was never able to really be close to anyone before, at least like how he was with Harp at the moment. For the longest time, he really had no clue if demon's had hearts or not. He had never felt it move before or make such a loud drumming sound into his ears, though he could hear Harp's too! Did all hearts do such a thing? Make such a noise? "It is such... a lovely noise." He murmurs faintly before Bel groaned rather loudly into the angel's nape.

Harp giggled softly at Bel. "Well, you're not going to float away as long as I'm here..." He reassured, burying his face in the heat of the demon. His eyes sparkled like athemyst.

As he held onto the demon, Harp began to wonder what exactly would happen if his back suddenly began to itch. As he thought about it, Harp realized that his back did kind of itch. Irately, the angel reached one arm in attempt to scratch his back, but was met with only more frustration. Huffing out a breath in annoyance, Harp just gave up and relaxed. "What is? Our heartbeats?" Come to think of it, Harp hadn't realized that Bel's heartbeat was so rapid.

Before he was able to do anything else, there was a sudden click of heels in the distance. A female voice sang, "Harp! Oh, Ha-arp!" Harp only clung onto Bel tighter. He tried to drown the voice out.

"Yeah..." Bel muttered in a panted, almost tired sounding breath. It was all just a bit too much, even for this demon. Having been in the dark for most of his existence, the thumping of his heart was captivating and terrifying. He had been told many, many times that someone as 'evil' as himself had no heart. He had never felt it beating before, even at moments it should... but here it was! It was moving so rapidly, he felt like his chest was about to burst open at any second! The sound of it was still so loud within his ears...

"Its... a bit much. S-..rry..." Bel did not even hear the clicking of heels in the distance, or anything else for that matter. Sucking in a final sharp breath filled with Harp's scent, the demon promptly collapses onto the angel like dead weight. A very warm dead weight, though. He was still gripping onto the angel in a rather loose grip, but it appeared his consciousness had slipped. It was quite possible shock had finally fully set in, or maybe with how fast his heart was beating it was just a bit too much for one moment. His chest still felt so heavy, had the angel not been there to be gripped onto, it is quite likely he would have gone right down the stairs.

It was impossible to tell if he would pop right back up at any moment, or if he would be down for the count for a while. His heart was still beating painfully fast and his breathing somewhat rugged.

As Harp hugged the demon, he heard a rushed apology. Pink eyes snapped open in confusion. "Bel... what are you apologizing for...?" The white-haired angel responded, not pulling his face away from the other's chest. As the footsteps sped up, Harp gave the warm blooded demon one final squeeze before reluctantly pulling away to get a better look at what was going on. What he saw made him grimace. Bel appeared to be sleeping like a baby. He looked a little like a puppy when he slept like this. Harp paused, before reaching out to squeeze the sleeping demon's cheek, giggling shortly after.

However, he wouldn't be able to pinch his victim's cheek for long. Soon, the female angel had arrived. She was tall, almost six feet. She had blonde hair that was perfectly shaped, along with her perfect lips. Perfect skin tone matched perfectly white wings. She was the very epitome of beauty and elegance. She was also very vain. Harp was unimpressed by her. "Why hello!" She sang. She knew him, but he wished he didn't know her. "My, my. You did it! You captured him. Now, just hand him-" Harp's eyes widened.

"No! Get away, you witch!" Harp may have entranced Bel, but he didn't want to give him up. The angel frowned.

"Witch? Now, that's not very polite..." She raised her hand, and Harp saw a flash of light. He cried out in pain. He was temporarily blinded.

He could feel the hand on his face, and that was alright. Then there was the most utterly annoying voice... and then a cry of pain. A cry of pain from Harp that was just loud enough to reach past the sound of the heartbeat echoing through his body. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as a much darker side of Bel began to emerge, it was in no way pretty either.

The demon promptly rips himself away from Harp, eyes swiftly opening. They were still as dark as the void itself, but now blood red irises could faintly be seen against the darkness. The shadows within the stairwell would rapidly be growing darker and darker with each passing second, seeming to eat the light it touched. Slowly black veins would be etching themselves around the demons eyes and down his freckled face as a low snarl erupts from Bel, showing a mouthful of elongated fangs and a forked tongue that had painful looking spikes at each end. The vein's though began to look more like cracks as they grew in number, starting to trail down his neck and past his shirt. Even in a only slightly formed state, he was a bit terrifying. Luckily for them, though, his horns had yet to actually form. It was likely they wouldn't though unless more angels suddenly appeared.

Without wasting even another moment, Bel pushes off of the concrete slab, launching himself directly towards the imposing angel. Chips of the concrete would break off as he does so from the force of his leap... it would seem he had thrown himself into a form of hunting mode, which sort of made sense, he supposed. He had not been able to hurt Harp, despite how badly he wanted too. And now he couldn't hurt the cupid at all... how lucky was he this angel had come to collect him? Or well, attempt to. Not if he killed and ate her heart first... He had already forgotten that they were in a human building. His hands were bent in an unusual shape as his claws formed rapidly. If no one was going to intervene or try to stop him, this could get rather bloody quite fast.

Bel was quite fast, even without exerting his full power. And strong too. Possibly even more so now that he knew Harp was behind him, and in possible danger as well.

Harp cried out in surprise as the demon awoke. Though he couldn't see, he could tell the demon was no longer in his arms. Harp had heard of powerful angels and demons being able to change their form, but had never actually witnessed it himself. Even though he couldn't see, he was able to visualize. There was... a great evil emerging. This much, he was certain.

The female angel simply narrowed her eyes. She was an angel who called herself Evening, though it was obvious she had another. Eve, as she was often referred to, was a three-winged angel. Though three may not seem like much, it was a symbol of her amazing powers. Harp knew her, because she had mentored him for a bit. She was always gentle, and kind. That is, until she found out that he was a cupid. Then it was all bad for him. At any rate, she wasn't phased by the demon in the slightest. She was an elite angel, a three-winged one!

Raising her hand, she cast a flash. The same technique used on Harp.

The flash was bright, so bright that even the light-eating shadows were forced back. At least for a few moments before they swiftly began to do their work.

Bel should have been blinded by the painful light, and for all either of them knew, he had been. His attack had been stopped short as he promptly drops back onto the concrete stairs with a heavy thud. A hand covered over his blood red pupiled eyes, the smell of burning flesh filling the air quickly. Though the demon mutters not even a bit of pain as he lowers his hand quickly to reveal his face towards the female angel. His face was now fully black, nearly matching his eyes... Something did not seem quite right though. It seemed to have been way to easy to stop him, to slow him down. In fact, he just stood there now, one clawed hand digging into the stone wall he stood a short distance from. At least for a few moments until he suddenly launched forward at her yet again, most likely blindly. The light, aside from his eyes, seemed to have little effect.

Somewhere behind the female angel something else swirled from the reforming shadows. It was none other than Bel himself, merely watching his double go back in for another attack, blinded. It had only taken him a split second to avoid such simple thing... He wastes not another moment though, suddenly seeming to have some kind of idea in mind as he leaps forward down at the angels back, claws out and fangs bared, all in utter silence and nearly without any presence at all. He could make so many Shades with such ease, he loved it. Though it was hard to tell if the 'Bel' leaping at the angels back was actually the real Bel or not. He liked to play with his food before he ate, rarely ever did he actually just go right in for the kill unless it was necessary...

Eve's eyes widened slightly. She had not been expecting this. Bel was, undoubtedly, stronger than she had anticipated. All the seraphs were in accord that she was the most capable for the cleanup. Though Harp thought that she hated him, that wasn't exactly true. In fact, he was her most favorite student- though Eve wasn't meant to have any. She had blinded him simply so he wouldn't see what she would do.

She had known that Harp was a cupid all along, contrary to what the pink-eyed angel believe. However, she was well aware that it was very possible that Harp might never, ever receive his wings. In her mind, it was better to make him dislike her rather than have him cry for her when he was banished from their realm. It hurt, knowing that the angel would succumb to his fate. Though Eve would be lying if she said she never regretted what she had done. Realizing that it was very much possible that she would meet her end, she cried out, converting her body into light in an attempt to escape. "Harp!" She cried. "Do not succumb... to the darkness! You are a being of light." With that, the female angel let out one more breath before exploding in a shower of light and dust.

It was her attempt at escaping.

As soon as her body dispersed, the cupid's vision returned. He blinked a few times, feeling the wet of his eyes burn. The first thing he noticed was Bel. Or... at least he thought it was Bel. The demon was very belligerent, and looked extremely out of control The shadows were contorting and dancing in a particularly eerie manner. The angel panted. He had heard Eve. Her words seemed to douse his fire. He didn't know what to do anymore...

Bel snarled, it appeared that the one that had leaped from behind was in fact the real one after all. Instead of finishing his attack though, he forces himself to stop short, growling out his next words in apparent anger... towards the female angel. The clone that had been charging from the front promptly burst into a mist of darkness, merely returning to the shadows. As she burst into a shower of light and dust, the shadows so kindly seemed to try and swallow her whole. Not to hurt or kill her, if anything, just to hold her here just a few moments longer!

"Pathetic! So pathetic, that is just like you angels! Sending him to the slaughter, then dare have worry for him? Such a twisted game you all play." Bel would still be in mid-form, the cracks still covering his skin, his black eyes with the red irises, clawed and fanged. He really did not seem to mind. Though the black in his dark orange hair had grown a bit more, there was nothing else that seemed to be changed drastically. Aside from the fact that he suddenly had full intentions to allow this angel to leave unscathed... He sucks in a sharp breath before speaking once again.

"Listen carefully, because I will not repeat myself. I allow you to live merely to pass on a message. Inform them that you are the -last- I will allow to return alive and with their wings. I grow so sick of you all meddling in my affairs, there are so many other demons you know. Tell them to stop sending pigs to the slaughter." And with that, as if on que, the shadows that had not only moments ago that had been dancing about in such an evil way would die down finally, to allow the angel to leave... though they were still quite dark and eerie, ready to strike should she try anything else. "And Harp is to be left out of this nonsensical mess, as you all so kindly threw him into the fray." He bares his elongated fangs with another snarl. Despite the wild and uncontrolled look he might have had... Bel was very much in control of himself.

Eve screamed a little in surprise as she wasn't allowed to leave. Soon, the darkness that bound her loosened its grip and she managed to escape. She kept a poker face, not daring show her horror.

Harp, who had watched what had just happpened, widened his eyes. That was intense, probably the most horrifying thing he had ever witnessed. The cupid seemed to be at a loss as for what to do. To him, it looked like Bel had broken out of his spell, but he may have been mistaken. "H-Hey..." Harp began with a quivering voice.

"Why don't we go outside and g-get some fresh air.... okay?" Harp suggested whilst walking. However, he kept to the very edges of the room, not wanting to get too close to the demon. The angel smiled as he inched closer to the staircase. Maybe... he could escape...

"Um... But I need to go to the bathroom first!" He shouted before beginning to run up the stairs.

Bel watched as Harp yelled about having to go to the bathroom, merely watching him run up the stairs. His nostril's flared as he sucks in a sharp breath, slowly exhaling. He had scared him, that much was obvious. But what did the cupid expect? Had that angel not been threatening them both? Or had he been sorely mistaken? He didn't think so. Maybe he had used a bit to much power, but he had bolted in with full intent on killing her... at least at first.

"Don't run..." Bel's voice rumbles out, echoing somewhat. "It is alright to be afraid." As he says this though, his form would slowly be returning back to normal. The black cracks in his skin receding, leaving rather red marks in their place. His eyes slowly returning to their bright emerald green, no traces of blackness or blood red anywhere. Even his claws were returning to normal. The only thing that did not fully change back was his hair, which by now all but the tips were black. It really didn't seem fitting for his eyes.

Bel was still very much under Harp's spell, the demon had no killing intent towards the angel still. Even as he tried to escape... With a rough shake of his head, Bel swiftly pushes off of the stair he was on, skipping several others on his way upwards after Harp. With one last good leap, he'd promptly attempt to tackle the angel as carefully as possible, letting out a low whine. "Please. Don't leave." His voice rang with utter honesty, he really did not want Harp to leave, not yet. It felt too soon, and Bel was just now starting to have some fun. He had a feeling they would send more angels again at some point, possibly soon. Or maybe they would heed his warning... He could only hope. And maybe, just maybe, after Bel was free of his magic, he could kill Harp. But who knew how long cupid's arrow would last. He had never actually been hit with one before now, or any spell like it.

Harp's pace quickened as he heard Bel call him. However, the cupid wasn't nearly strong enough to outrun the demon.

As he was tackle hugged, she let out a cry of terror. Soon, Harp's breathing returned to niormal as he glanced at the demon. Bel seemed to be back to normal. Well, he was still under his spell. This he knew for certain."I... Let's both go. Come on." Harp said, intwineing his own hand in the demon's. "Let's go outside."

"Outside..." Bel rumbles softly, quickly releasing Harp from his grasp and pushing himself to his feet, offering a hand to the angel. He hadn't noticed, but he already knew his hair was now completely black in color, even his eyebrows. He was never fond of the color though... he'd have to dye it all over again. One human thing he was quite thankful for, at least.

"Can... we go get some hair dye...?" He asks this, lowering his head somewhat. He even had his shoulders slouched, making himself appear smaller and less threatening. He had scared Harp, that much he knew. Because, despite what the cupid said, Bel knew better. It was just the effects of the magic that was messing so badly with his judgement. No one liked a demon. Not most humans that knew of them. Not angels. Sometimes not even demons themselves. He sucks in a sharp breath. "I need... to fix my hair."

Harp laughed openly at the demon's strange request. He had been prepared for the worst, so the innocent request had caught him off guard. "Do you really buy hair dye...?" Harp asked playfully. "Hm... I guess your real hair color is black, huh?"

At that, the angel twisted his fingers in the demon's hair. It was soft and pretty silky. "Hm... Hair dye's not good for you, though." With that, Harp grabbed Bel's hand. "Well, let's go, then!" He said, leading the demon up the staircase.

Staircases, he thought, were good. They represented moving and change. Without stairs, only those with wings would be able to reach higher places. As such, he was grateful that there was a stone staircase.

Bel gives the angels hand a light grip, seeming to not mind in the slightest as he was pulled along. He really liked how Harp had twisted his fingers in his hair... how he spoke though, did he like the black hair that now coated his head? Bel lightly shakes his head though, a faint smile now upon his lips.

"I've never been very fond of this hair color, but every time I use power, it changes back on its own." Bel mutters. He was not going to bother mentioning how good he had been doing the past week, how only today his hair had actually changed back in color. It really made him realize how much power he had released in those few moments. Too much of it, that was for sure. He didn't even realize his skin had started to crack until it had all started to close. By now the red marks would have already faded, not even a trace that there had been horrid gashes carved in his skin to show the truth beneath.

"Do... you like this hair?" He asks simply, head tilted slightly as they go up the stairs. It had yet to dawn on him that they should have been going downwards. Unless there was something on the higher floors he was forgetting about. The roof, maybe?
