Description of Appearance:
Piper stands at 5’7” with a fair complexion and naturally rosy cheeks. However, her face is prone to random flushed moments that can appear unattractive. Her face is round and rather large which was used as an insult by many in middle school. She weighs 155 pounds and, despite having an average BMI, is the source of most of her insecurities. Her loosely curled hair curtains her hair and rests besides her shoulders; her brown hair causes her much ire because of how hard it is to brush. Round, dark brown eyes are situated above a slender, small nose and thick, undefined lips.

Style:
Piper prefers to wear high-waist jeans and skirts paired with button up shirts, blouses, or loose tank tops. She possesses an array of different colored blazers and likes to wear one every day lest she feel naked. The girl enjoys the sophistication in which she dresses whilst keeping the casualness associated with high school. She likes to wear flats or close-toed black heels.

Distinct Markings:
The only piercings she has are her ears and doesn’t like tattoos or excessive body piercings, especially gages.

Personality:
Piper is a friendly girl with a natural affinity for people. With an ability to make anyone feel comfortable, it’s easy to fall into her trap. Now, do not misunderstand: she is in no way wicked, but her friendships are superficial and are ultimately there for amusement. With a trustworthy face, it is easy to believe her when she spreads word of a backstabbing friend. Piper has a knack for twisting words and can make one thing a person said to sound like another without actually having to lie. She simply revels in drama, as long as she is not dragged into it, and loves watching friends fight. The brunette hates dullness and desires unpredictability – what’s more unpredictable than an enraged hormonal female teenager?

Despite all her faults, she does have a few benefits. Piper’s heart aches for the wounded. If she sees a blind puppy or an injured boy, she immediately wants to help. Mental or physical, Piper is to the rescue with all known cures in hand. She is especially kind to them and will nurse them to health. She never skips out on a hurt friend, even if she is the one who hurt them in the first place. Because of this, she is often drawn to the stereotypical, emotionally unstable “bad boy” and has been through many bad experiences with some who were, in all intents and purposes, “bad.” Her confidence has been damaged by these boys.

Piper has a hard time distinguishing her feelings and can easily mistake liking for love or jealousy with pain. Because she herself cannot understand her feelings, she cannot openly express them to others. She prefers to keep a distance from those she emotionally gets along with and she is afraid of being committed to someone she actually cares for which leads to shallow relationships. Very contradictorily, she longs for a friend that she can trust and connect with.

Strengths:
Her biggest strengths are her friendly attitude and approachable aura. Many flock to her side to be a part of her life and she makes it worth their while despite her multiple schemes. Her intelligence, while not superb, is of mention as she gets straight A’s constantly. She takes school serious, but still finds time for her social life. She also has a penchant for medicine and is really good at science.

Weaknesses:
Her weakness lies in her incapability to develop deep, meaningful relations. Her fear of being emotionally hurt by someone important prevents her from taking risks and befriending anybody. She has no athletic abilities and no skills that are considered notable except for her medicinal dexterity.

Mutation:
Through the inhalation of the gas, Piper had received the ability of molecular manipulation. She is able to speed up molecules where they will eventually melt or catch fire, this process is called Molecular Acceleration. Molecular Adhesion lets her stick to solid surfaces easily and Molecular Combustion is when she tears molecules by speeding them up and, in turn, she causes an explosion. She can slow people down (Molecular Deceleration) or completely freeze people (Molecular Immobilization) through the slowing of molecules.

Molecular Combustion – the tearing of molecules through speeding them up and causing an explosion

Mutation Strengths:
Silence and complete concentration let’s her easily control her mutations and with complete relaxation on her part, the subject of her wrath will be obliterated. Using her hands usually helps her aim immensely and improves her power.

Mutation Weaknesses:
Piper is susceptible to catching herself on fire, melting herself, or any such things as molecular manipulation is fickle and can be affected easily by anything. To be able to stick to walls, she must maintain incredible balance whilst doing it lest she fall. Anyone with enhanced speed can escape her powers mostly as she needs to aim for the object/person to manipulate the molecules.

History:
Piper Anastasia Irving was born to Anthony Irving and Charlotte Hendrickson on April 12th. Anthony Irving is the wealthy CEO of Pai Irving Corporations and was originally married to a woman named Mary Littlemore who bore his first child and only son, Benjamin Irving, when he met Charlotte. Charlotte was his assistant who had an ambitious dream of becoming a designer; they eventually fell in love and Anthony Irving divorced his then-wife. With the help of Anthony, Charlotte Hendrickson quickly rose to eminence in the fashion business and soon was pregnant with Piper.

Growing up, her parents were usually busy with work and her half-brother was usually visiting his mother which left Piper to her own devices. This is when she developed her fondness for manipulation of her friends to keep her busy and entertained. Her parents never really spoiled her, but they never prevented her from using their credit cards either. However, Piper didn’t have a taste for the lavish and usually left it alone. Benjamin and Piper have a strained relationship, both of them not being able to understand the other. Their relationship constitutes awkward silences and half-hearted attempts at conversation. They are not hostile, but prefer to avoid the other. They do have a level of kinship between them, though, since they are both more or less ignored by their parents.

Piper had many bad experiences with boyfriends, most who emotionally abused her, and has developed a dependency on others to tell her she’s beautiful. She has made many attempts to gain her confidence back, but she eventually gets involved with another bad egg and the process starts all over again. She has since started therapy though it doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Description of Appearance:
His face is fairly soft looking with little harsh lines. He has a sweet smile with medium sized lips, not too full, not too thin. His dark brown hair wraps gently around his head and is easily managed. He's fairly pale and slender with gentle blue eyes that seem to always show what emotion he is really feeling, aside from the ones that he is picking up from others, showing that he might be able to subconsciously recognize and feel his own emotions if not consciously.

Style:
Brookes tends to gravitate towards "Safer" clothes such as sweaters. His signature look is dark blue jeans with a black sweater, topped off with a pair of fingerless gloves which make him look like a homeless person.

Distinct Markings:
Brookes has a stud piercing on his lower lip off to the side along with blue highlights in his hair.

Personality:
Brookes is that shy kid who sits in the back of that class and drifts off in his own mind. He suffers from selective mutism so he finds it hard to talk to people at certain times. Brookes is normally happy but can go "Dark" in a split second if something happens. He is normally sweet as well despite the fact that at a time, he could be experiencing a plethura of emotions. He tries to hide this fact but it can be seen. In times when someone would be filled with joy, he might only act slightly ecstatic. Brookes is very tired a lot of the time due to his mutation and he tends to find a way to sleep wherever he is. Even so, he manages to get things done and is fairly efficient. Overall, Brookes is very kind and considerate despite the fact that he is shy but he can become very angry in a split second. Also, due to his living situation, Brookes is very rebellious against authority but still finds it hard to interact with other teenagers.

Strengths:
Brookes excels at talking out someone's problems, that is, if he is comfortable with talking to them in the first place. Brookes is also very endurant, mentally due to the fact that he suffered emotional abuse from students at his school. He has also become fairly adept at not expressing his emotions as well which make it hard to read him sometimes because he could be acting happy when he is really angry or sad.

Weaknesses:
Sports. Brookes cannot accomplish any physical activities to save his life. He has asthma so running for too long will give him an asthma attack. Luckily he carries around an inhaler but it still makes a lot of things a challenge. Branching off from his ability to hide his emotions, he never gets help when he feels negative emotions and therefore, he never really deals with them correctly.

Mutation:
The fun part. Brookes gained empathic perception. The ability to feel and decipher the emotions of others. Brookes can literally feel the emotions of anybody near him which in his case, backfires a lot of the time. In addition, he is able to feel the "Emotional residue" of a place when strong emotions are felt there which can cause him to have visions and recall what occurred at the spot. He is also able to detect lies (Unless the person can mask their emotions.) and take away the emotional pain of someone else completely and feel those emotions instead. And finally, the combat aspects. Brookes is able to send certain emotions to a single target or group of targets. If strong enough, he can cause confusion and fear in enemies and clarity and courage in allies. Improving their mental capacity whilst greatly weakening enemies.

Mutation Strengths:
Brookes' powers are strong in certain situations. He can find out many things when it comes to people but he's not good with battle. The mutation is improved when there are more people around him. The more emotions he feels the stronger his power becomes. In large crowds he can even knock people out with sheer emotion but there is a backfire to this strength.

Mutation Weaknesses:
Brookes doesn't handle others' emotions well. As the amount of people around him grow, the more crazy he becomes. Even though his power grows, it also causes vast amounts of mental damage to him. Sometimes driving him to insanity for short periods of time. It's also terrible because if he is fighting just one person with nobody around, he couldn't do much to save himself. The combat aspects of his power are very weak when in a place with little amounts of people. Thus in order to be useful. he has to hurt himself by experiencing too many emotions for a single brain to handle.

History:
Brookes' history is a fairly odd one. He was born in Bemidji, Minnesota and had no siblings and two loving parents. His parents died in a car accident which he barely survived. He later moved in with his aunt and uncle who didn't care about him, only the money they gained from taking him in. As such, no help came during school times when he became even more shy than before. He would be occasionally teased by other students but was left alone most of the time. After discovering certain alternative rock bands, he oddly enough, became more rebellious. Brookes was still shy but he began to do things like paint graffiti (Which wasn't very good) and do drugs. One time, he went to a friends house and they pierced his lip even though his aunt didn't let him. He even considered getting an illegal tattoo but decided against it. Brookes history is filled with rebellious acts and several attempts at running away. Needless to say, Brookes doesn't like to listen to authority but he has problems dealing with other teenagers, feeling far too shy around anyone he meets. His aunt was glad to get rid of him when they came to take him to the facility.

Other:
Nothing for now. I might find something later. I just got a major case of writers block. Also about the whole developing an emotional bond. It feels like a bit of a stretch so I can easily remove it C:

@Lady: I would say just take away her ability to walk through solid matter because I never seen an invisible person have the ability to walk through walls either. So just take away that and then you are set. :D
