Svenn, how to my revival powers work? For example, if I were to want to revive a recently killed pig?

Reviving a dead animal will take less power to raise a humanoid thing, but you will need to make a shrine and either sacrifice another animal(s) equivalent to the pig, or you can perform a ritual which will take a certain number of volunteers to give them your strength.

Is there a way to ensure that a slain foe cannot later be resurrected? I wish to ensure that some nefarious necromancer does not revive my skeletal adversary after I've defeated him.

If you burn them to ashes. or create stuff out of them, or taking a bone, because you would need all the parts to resurrect something.
