Birds of prey can dive into water to retrieve a meal and fly back out. It isn't just waterfowl that can fly with wet feathers. I'll play your game, though.

I was originally going to use the sword to speed up the climbing process, but,

a) Climbing, walking, running and the like are for wingless peasants,
b) This way is probably just as fast or faster, and,
c) I don't want to ruin the sword. I need to slay those skeletons and Orcs to the east.

mbl, I believe the green disc shaped plants currently below Termite are the ones Shade is referring to.
