Ten years after the Second Life Fiber invasion was stopped by the same champions who fought tooth and nail to stop the Life Fibers attempt to devour the world. These champions realized that thought the immediate threat of life fiber destroying the world was quelled once again, that it was only a matter of time before the powerful world eating species would once more fall upon earth with the intention to devour it whole. With this in mind they formed The Academy for the Life Fiber Compatible. Here those with the potential to synchronize with life fibers and use it as a weapon would be gathered and trained to be the next generation of Champions. Will these hopeful students one day surpass those whose foots steps they fallow? Or will they lose their way and bring the destruction of the world through the terror of life fibers?

SETTING
30 years after the event of the anime, a school has been founded to train champions for the inevitable next encounter with an Original Life Fiber. While it is much like the Honnjin Acadamy in over all appearance and structure, it is a kinder and gentler place over all. Your status in school does not reflect your status out of it. Here youths who have the potential to have strong synchronization with life fibers are gathered, taught, and trained to fight. Students are brought in from all over the world, though the school is located in Japan. You are a student there, you have your own goals to achieve. Keep your eyes on the prize, or else you may lose your way.

She does not take disrespect lightly, and while she does love the conflict that comes from being part of this school, she is a stickler for the rules and does not let people engage in fights that would break any academy guide lines.
History: Became head of the wrestling team in her first year, Student council head in her second. This is her third year and she is still head of the Student council. As far as anyone knows she has never lost any sort fight be it in her wrestling career or other-inter club combat situations.

History: A student hailing from Ireland, He was initially being scouted by various pro soccer teams before getting a offer at the academy. He found the idea of the challenges such a school would present more interesting then going pro so early. He tends to keep to himself and even doesn't seem to have anyone all that close to him within his own club.

History: Seiko, despite being born in Japan, has not spent an abundance of time in her home land. her artistic talent was recognized early and they took her to train at a prestigious art school in France. She was quite thrilled to get a chance to go to this academy, as she claimed her old school 'was to dull to inspire her any more.'

Personality: Suzu is the perfect example of a quirky yet enigmatic genius, most of her actions are utterly incomprehensible to ordinary people and her tendency to follow through with absurd ideas or plans makes her an unpredictable leader to have. She's personable, energetic and charismatic, yet also quite pushy and driven towards her personal goals, often forsaking short-term satisfaction in favour of long-term planning. Still possesses a degree of youthful enthusiasm and curiosity, combining with her analytical mind to create the perfect student, able to quickly comprehend new concepts and learn new things at an astounding rate. Prefers to conceal her agenda until the last possible moment, rather than move openly.

History: Suzu's lived the life of a child genius, most of her early childhood was spent learning from famously talented private tutors and studying a wide range of subjects, all to find whatever niche she felt like pursuing in life. She never had any troubles, save perhaps a lacklustre social life and poor connection with her parents, but for whatever reason she could never seem to find a goal worth pursuing. In her eyes, everything there was had already been done before, surely there was some more interesting subject she could pioneer for the future, but she couldn't seem to find it no matter how hard she looked. She dabbled in a few experimental sciences, but by complete accident, eventually stumbled upon an old grimoire in a university library. Her youthful curiosity was piqued, and thus began the occult chapter of her life. An unknown science, an entire world that had never been officially explored or proven before. From then on, she devoted her entire life to researching everything occult, whether it was mysterious, unproven organisms or even the lost magical arts of summoning.

She was brought to Kiryuin Academy for the purpose of potentially researching Life Fibers, and so that she could experience the high school life in an enriching and unique enviroment. Her compatibility with Life Fibers is abnormally high, so this position was easily accomplished, and due to her strong motivations she's managed to reach the position of Club Captain quite easily in the one year time she's been attending. Now, at the start of her second year, she's looking into recruiting a few more club members to diversify her current team's skill set. She feels as if they're so close to finding the secret to the occult, and if she were to get a few more samples, she may even make a breakthrough in the field of Occult Science.

Other: Secretly studies sewing. Not yet invited to the Student Council, but she predicts that such an event will certainly happen soon...

• Through her research within the Synthetics Club Mato has gained a strong basis of knowledge on the workings of Life Fibers and things constructed from them


• Before losing her arms Mato practiced sewing as something to do during her many stays in the hospital. Gaining he prosthetic arms after entering the academy and her study of life fibers has allowed her to further this skill.

Uniform

• Prototype ”Nano-Fiber” Injector:
A prototype device installed into her uniform which injects nanoscale Life Fibers into her bloodstream. Provides increased stamina and endurance coupled with minor regenerative capabilities(Small/Shallow cuts, sprained joints, minor blunt force wounds etc) in its current state.

• Life Fiber Synthesize:
Mato's uniform generates synthetic Life Fibers upping her uniforms combat potential to around 2.5 stars. Her uniform forms a half star on its back to reflect this until the effect wears off.

• Life Fiber Alloy Prosthesis:
Prosthetic arms composed of an alloy consisting of Life Fibers and metals. Due to incorporating Life Fibers they are considered part of her uniform. The prosthesis are hard enough to deflect most conventional weapons with only minor knocks and scratches and allow Mato to strike with at least twice the force of an average person.

• Auxiliary Prosthesis:
A second set of prosthetic arms with a similar composition to that of her main prosthesis. These limbs lean more towards natural metals than life fibers making them not quite as durable as her main set. The auxiliary prosthesis is an independent unit which can have its position changed depending on the situation. Mato most often keeps them positioned at her waist in out of combat situations for utility purposes or upon her shoulders, towards her back during combat situations.

Personality: Not especially smart or gifted, Mato is a person left to accomplish her goals purely through dedication and stubborn determination. While she is generally friendly she is not one to be above stepping on another toes if it means furthering her own goals. Being forced to face her own mortality she is someone who lives almost purely in the present. Her days before the academy were lost due to illness, the future remains uncertain and so she focuses on doing the best for herself in the here and now.

Dealing with people she is fairly open minded and is not one to hold grudges in most situations. Because of this she tends to treat most people the same with little mind for formalities or rank. She tends to be energetic and rather casual with others, all of this leading to Mato holding a rather loose structure of power within her Synthetics Club. Ideas from any member are valid and should be considered regardless of rank, outright rejecting ideas based on formalities is the death of productive research in her mind. Still she is not one to allow herself to be walked over, her position within the club was earned and she will demand proper respect when need be.

History: Mato was an otherwise normal girl who was dealt the unfortunate card of being born with a degenerative disease which would plague her throughout her life. As such she would become well accustomed to frequent hospital visits, examinations and a plethora of medicines over the years in effort to slow the spread of her condition. Despite such efforts the disease would soon take a toll on the girls body with the weakening of muscles and organs, leading to the eventual amputation of her arms due to infection and severe tissue breakdown within the limbs.

This would be the way she would have to live most of her days, up until a turning point three years ago at the age of 14. She would once again have a series of now routine tests as she readied to enter high which would end up delivering a result which was far from routine. Several weeks after the tests she would be scouted by the Kiriyuin Academy due to her tests over the years showing data which corresponded to a steadily rising compatibility with Life Fibers. With a life on a timer due to her condition and no better options Mato would place an application and soon be excepted, quickly entering the academy.

Though she would enter as a simple no star student with nothing but a decent affinity for Life Fibers she would become motivated and determined to climb the ranks after discovering a certain club. The Synthetics Club, based around studying the Life Fibers and creating various technologies related to them. Seeing this research it would spark her interest in their activities, seeing a possibility of the research bringing some degree of comfort to her life. Her first year would be spent attempting to get close to members of the club in order to gain favor and enter herself. After some time she would volunteer to act as a tester for prosthesis and devices they could otherwise not test themselves. This offer would be what would gain her entrance to Synthetics and her raise in rank to a one star student.

With a place in the Synthetics Club she would now be able to study the Life Fibers herself. Already seeing the benefits of Life Fibers due to her newly acquired one star uniform which would make her frail and weak body achieve some semblance of normalcy, and the prosthetic arms, primitive as they were, restoring some of her lost freedom she would begin to do just that. And so her second year began began as a lowly tester for the Synthetics Club but with no small amount of hard work and determination Mato would prove herself to the higher ranking members. With her interest and determination for the research proven Mato would begin working more closely with those in the prosthesis project which in turn gave her knowledge of the process of hardening and manipulating Life Fibers.

Armed with this growing knowledge Mato would begin a project of her own when nearing the end of her second year. This project which would take up much of her time not already being used for the prosthesis projects would be towards the use of life fibers directly on the body without the need to be worn. A long process with many failures and missteps would eventually result in the creation of what she would simply call Nano-Fibers. Life Fibers divided and divided and divided until they are able to be injected directly into the bloodstream. With this Mato discovered that in this state one with proper affinity could use Life Fibers to provide an additional boost of power and was promoted to the captain of the Synthetics Club, gaining a two star rank. Though only a proto-type with the limitation of these nano-fibers gradually dissolving in the bloodstream it has proved in invaluable asset to Mato allowing it to significantly strengthen her body despite the risks due to its nature as a proto-type. Mato has yet to test the nano-fibers on anyone other than herself and the methods being used to apply them are still being researched. Because of this the research is currently only known to the Synthetics club and the academies student console.

Lastly, from the research on Life Fibers which spawned the nano-fibers came several splinter projects, the most notable being a breakthrough in the creation of synthetic Life-Fibers for which the club was originally founded. Though less effective and less durable they are currently used to provide additional strength boosts.

Other:Since becoming captain Mato has requested elevation to a three star student in order to further speed up her research and projects. She cares little about actually gaining a position on the student console but would accept the responsibilities for the sake of her projects. So far she has heard nothing back.

"The King": Heavy suit of armor of seemingly robotic armor, complete with a massive backpack and a sprawling array of sensors and transmitters, trailing a large amount of thick cables. Notoriously slow moving, relies on the release of several different drones that split off from various parts of the main uniform to be effective.

Drones

• Pawns: Simple, foot-tall canisters that hover about six inches off the ground, attack by ramming. While easily beaten on their own, their specialty is covering the glaring faults of the other drones. There are eight in the King.


• Rooks: Heavily armored monsters of metal and twisting cables, these powerhouses charge opponents, leveling their inbuilt weapons for maximum damage. Armed with lances. Slower than even the king while not charging, and unable to turn at even the slightest speed. Only two are encased in the King.


• Knights: Fast, lightly armored blitzkriegers. Armed with a pair of close-combat swords, these quick amalgamations of engines and aerodynamics are focused on maneuverability, even if their attack patterns can be easily predicted and countered. While not able to to much damage in a single attack, they provide a distraction from the rest of the arsenal. Only two are housed in the King.


• Bishops: Delicate spindles of shimmering metal and glimmering metal wires, these hovering dodecahedrons house the only ranged weaponry in the King's arsenal, a bolt launcher and a bright, blinding searchlight. Lack armor in all but the basic form, and only two are encased in the King


• Queen: Ultimate combat drone. Lightweight armor combines speed and damage with maneuverability, and is actually so responsive that it will overshoot and crash into things, requiring the full attention of the operator. Looks like a lithe female humanoid, abet with a set of large thrusters for wings. Armed with a shield and a halberd. Only a single one is encased in the King

-The King is a heavy-hitter even if extraordinarily slow, and can crush stone with even a glancing blow.
-Counts as a massive transmitter relay, gives a load of sensory information to Jordan even when no drones are active.
Personal Skills:
-A veritable bank of information on a wide variety of subjects, Jordan is always accruing more.
-Avid(And quite good) Chess player
-Good at micro and macro management, able to take in a lot of information at once and transfer it into actions and usable data.
-Takes very good care of his hair, even at the length it is.
-A good multi-tasker.

Personality: All smiles, all the time. Manipulative and cruel if provoked, he prefers it a lot more if he interferes very little, aiming to let others sort out his problems if he can. Likes to live a rather reclusive lifestyle due to this, forming only relationships when he has to. There are very few people he could call friend due to this, and he's secretive, even from them. Doesn't like it when people know more than he does about things. When asked, he's eager to brag about how much he knows on a certain topic.
History: Born in the wonderful land of Australia, the young Jordan spent most his early years alone with his grandfather, a notable figure in the world of Chess. While lonely, it also provided the boy with a way to communicate with his grandfather that seemed to be closer than talking. They would forgo speaking for hours at a time over games, instead just basking in the silence as each move brought them closer together. However, as the years passed, Jordan's grandfather(The elder Elder) realized that his protege needed the companionship of younger folk, and recommended that the young Jordan go to a campus that would teach him to both hone his skills and allow him to make friends. Due to the older man's great influence, he called in a few favors to get his grandson acknowledged by the prestigious Honouji Academy. After displaying his skills on and off the board, he was accepted and is currently a Third Year.
Other: Smiles constantly, be it a wide grin or a slight smirk, no matter his mood. This proves more than a little unnerving.

- Yuuta excels at thinking on his feet when put under pressure, able to asses a situation in a near instant, but lacks the ability to lay down a long term plan, whether through stupidity or laziness only he knows
- Determination bordering on psychotic, in battle Yuuta will only stop from outside intervention, or if can no longer fight, and never takes personal risk into consideration.
- Extensive spiritual knowledge (Both personal skills and those associated with your uniform )

High speed vibrations of his uniform cause yuuta's movements to leave behind an after image for several seconds, often appearing like he briefly cloned himself

-Phantom range;
Yuuta's uniform "manifests his fighting spirit" a weak power field is generated around his fist/foot that is barely visible and has no direct offensive properties, but carries the force of his punch and kicks, effective extending them past his limbs by roughly half a meter

Personality:
Yuuta is a generally carefree person who saunters through life at a lazy pace, if it's not something interesting, it's not worth his time. Slacker would be an incorrect term to describe him however as he posses a fierce competitive streak then when ignited throws a mental switch that brings out his almost psychotic level of obsession. This is primarily seen in his lust for battle where he becomes a savage brute appearing to throw himself into an animalistic state of rage. He only answers to those he deems as strong and is always eager to push his limits even at the risk of his own life. However battle is not his only hobby, yuuta is equally obsessed with the concept of spirits and the existence of the soul after death, if one ever catches him studying, it will always be of the occult nature.

History:
Leading an early life as a delinquent, yuuta ran around the playgrounds of multiple transferred schools carving his name into the minds of the other students, picking any possible fight and always throwing the first punch, he scraped by the normal classroom, in more than a few cases passing through intimidation than actual work. But gradually he became tired of his little "hobby" becoming more and more convinced that no one in the mortal world could challenge him. Yet rather than spiraling into virtual obsessions or the like he instead found himself mystified by the prospect of the afterlife, and the "science" behind it.

Unlike one may be lead to believe, yuuta enjoyed a pure fight, not the crushing defeat of another and honored those that could punch him back. At was his grandmother who started him down the occult path, for while the two were polar opposite their reasoning aligned, the respect the souls of humans who had shuffled off the mortal coil, though grandmother more hopped that it would act as a distraction for his other obsession. Despite the bizarre method Yuuta fell in love with the concepts of ghosts and spirits lingering in the world in a manner beyond the realm of logic, and this also meant a potential means of expanding his strength past the boundaries of reality

However soon after the world became a far bigger place than he had originally expected, scouted for kiryuin academy based on nothing but sheer physical resilience to the alien threads known as "life fibers"(a miracle in itself considering his "academic prowess") he was introduced to a world where the majority of it's students could demolish a wall with ease, but he already knew of a more mythical power and while the numerous martial clubs could have been an easy sell, he instead settled on the far more peculiar occult club. his meager 0 star uniform halted any immediate intimidation of the ranks through force, but that mattered little as his already strong affiliation with the darker arts carried him upwards instead, despite his usual nature and already acquiring a relatively revered rank he's shown no need for attempting a coup on the captain position as yuuta acknowledged her far stronger command of the arcane, despite sharing the same uniform grade, or perhaps this fact further reinforces his respect.

Whenever yuuta talks to himself he refers to it as "speaking to his ghost" and has never confirmed whether he means it as a saying or believes in an invisible ghostly companion...
