Reincarnate - Rebirth of the soul in another body, the belief that the soul, upon death of the body, comes back to earth in another body.
In the beginning of the world, souls were like the wind, a iridescent glimmer, intelligent with feelings, and thoughts. And then souls gained physical bodies. And so, the first humans graced the earth. Humans live there life, without memories of the deep past, no memories for there time as immortal souls, They lived there life, having families, learning, laughing, fighting, being human, and when they died they were reincarnated, with no memories from there past life, a blank slat, for most, a completely new person to become.
That is except for four individuals, who are human in every way, except they remember. They remember ever life they have ever lived, they have the memories and knowledge from every reincarnation they have had. They have lived through everything from the beginning of the humans. Can you imagine. Born again into completely different circumstances, new family, new face, new language, new names, new culture, new rules.
Magnus, Alexander, Lydia, and Helen, they Remember everything. They are born and, the memories come back in blurs and glimpses for the first few years of life, The smell of roses could make one remember walking in a garden in a different time, and place, or the sound of a old song can make one remember going to a concert, Beethoven live. By the time they are around 11 years old, they can remember everything. But how would you know your not crazy, that its just your imagination, why is it you remember so many things and no one else does. Why is it? Even thought one can remember? how do you believe in yourself? in your mind.?
During the 3rd century Helen met Magnus, by chance, and they found that they were not alone. They were not crazy. And with that they promised to always find each other, so in every new life they would know they were not mad, and that they were not alone. In the 7th Century Magnus, had been looking for Helen, and with his search he found the writings of what people called a mad man. Magnus found Alexander in Rome, and seven years later they found Helen. They wondered how many their were out there like them, who remembered everything too. In the 13th century they founded a group called The Guardians.
The Guardians was the three of them, plus six others, their most trusted friends on that life, who believed their stories and for the sake of knowledge, history, love and so on, vowed to serve them generation after generation, keeping the many histories and lives documented, seeking to find others that remembered, and to always find them in their new lives and protect, teach and reassure them. And that is what the guardians did, passing down the duties to their children and so on. In the early 14th century the Guardians Found Lydia.
In the 16th century, a guardian by the name of Bartholomew Lytton became rather enraged when Lydia, did not return his feelings, and he killed her, knowing that she would be born again in a new body, with a new life in less then 10 hours, he left the guardians and started his own group called the Order, religious people followed him and his mission was to find the four and kill them. He soon became even more deranged and wanted immortal life, Murdering Magnus, a handful of guardians, and blinding Alexander, he was able to kidnap Helen, and he used her blood, his alchemy skills, wanting to gain immortality like them. He ate her beating heart, and with that he created what we call vampires. Months later they captured Alexander and did the same to him so his number one follower Agnes could gain immortality.
Two centuries passed and the vampires found the reincarnations of the four, seven more times, make seven more immortals, and then they learned that it was not necessary to take the beating heart of them, that in fact vampires themselves could turn humans into vampires draining the human and making them drink there own blood, making there own immortals. The nine original immortals can only be killed by being stabbed in the heart with a silver dagger forged by Alexander many centuries ago, sadly nothing else. The dagger is kept with the guardians and used to protect. The other immortals made by the vampires can die by burning to death, decapitation, and a steak in the heart.
No other with memories have yet to be found, and now is it 2014. And the Guardians have been searching for the four, and protecting the humans from vamps.
