So this is home til then." She smiled a bit to them. "It's small but it can be home to us. We will have to get furniture and stuff and its only two bed rooms so. Need to figure out sleeping arrangements" she thought a bit more. "And we need to get food"

Maktane chuckled watching the two interact. He listened intently to their conversation and smiled when ever they had their attention toward him. As the two continued to be focused on each other, Maktane was able to slip away to a corner of the room without being noticed. He sat on the floor with his back against the corner. At the angle he was at, he could only see Vixen, Kaito was obscured by some objects. He smiled a little, opened his inventory and pulled out two items. One was a small block of wood and the other was a metal carving knife. In silence he slowly began to carve into the wood. Maktane looked back at Vixen his smile fading, She would never notice me, why should I even try? He turned his attention back to the wood block and began carving again.

Kaito grinned as he accessed his menu and invited both of them to the guild.
"So It's Kazoku right?" He said hesitantly hovering over the accept button and waiting for their response.

Maktane stopped carving the wood only for the brief moment it took for him to accept the invitation. "I see no problems with it." He spoke quietly as if not to interrupt Kaito and Vixen's conversation. He continued to carve the wood intently not paying attention to the other two in the room. He was trying to keep his mind occupied, trying not to think of the things that had happened in the last three months. He would every once in a while look up at a close by window and look out before going back to carving. Maktane knew a lot about computer code and had coded in the wood and carving knife information into the nerve gear as if he knew he would need something to distract himself later on in the game.

Vixen looked at maktane studying him closely a smile bruising her lips. She tilted her head a bit and thought to herself. Handsome. That was the word she was looking for. She noticed he was carving and using a knife. She opened her inventory and chucked a knife next to his head with precision. "Hey handome use that its better then that butter knife your using." She smiled to him her emerald eyes soft.

Maktane noticed Vixen looking at him and gasped. He quickly averted his eyes, trying not to show that he was blushing. "Tha...Thanks." He stuttered the words taking the new knife and continued carving. He stopped and stood up, he had finished what he was working on. Maktane walked over to Vixen and handed her the knife back. He also set a small wooden figure next to her. "It's not very good... But I hope you like it." He looked over to Kaito, "If any of you need me all be out in the alley, I need some air." Maktane walked outside and sat against a wall. The figure he placed next to Vixen was a beautifully carved and extremely detailed figure of her in a long dress. Maktane quietly sat staring into the sky. This world seems so real... But it's all just a bunch of computer code. He thought to himself clasping his fist tightly.

Kaito looked at the figure Maktane had carved in awe. Wow he must really like her if he is willing to be so bold about making things for her he thought to himself. as hw watched him leave to the alley. I feel a bit odd now...like I'm just in the way. he thought closing his eyes.

Maktane sat quietly outside just watching the sky. Suddenly four man came running up to him, "There you are! You good for nothing Red Player!" Three of the men grabbed Maktane's arms and torso. "Let go of me!" Maktane lifted his legs up and kicked the two men on his arms, sending them into the walls of the alley. He pulled his head forward and swung it back headbutting the man holding his torso. All three man started to crowd around him as the fourth invited him to a duel. Maktane tried to deny it, but the men got a hold of him and force him to accept. The man waited till the clock counted to zero and then start stabbing Maktane repeatedly. Maktane tried to get loose, but his struggles were in vain. His HP gauge dropped low enough for the man to win, but he didn't stop. The man continued to stab him, slowly getting closer to ending Maktane's life.

Kaito dashed outside hearing the noise outside and pulled his sword jumping in the way of the three men and blocking their swords and tossing them back.
"Leave him alone." he growled as he pulled an hp potion out of his inventory tossing it back to Maktane before looking back to the three players.
"Stay out of this kid! He's a red player what good is he to the rest of us." the lead man said.
"This red player is my friend...and hes now like my brother so if you mess with him you mess with me!" he said glaring and bringing his sword to the ready silently admiring the new finish Vixen had given it.
"The way I see it there are two options either you walk away or I play as a red player for a few days." he said looking into the mans eyes.

Maktane stood up slowly and dropped the potion Kaito gave him on the floor. Even though he was weak he walked over to Kaito and put a hand on his sword, "Put your weapon down." He turned to Kaito looking him in the eye with a strong look of determination, "This is my problem," Maktane grew a slight grin, "Stop trying to be a hero..." He patted Kaito on the shoulder and a secret thank you and drew his sword, "I'm in a duel, please, let me handle this." Maktane raised his sword at the man as he stared at him, his eyes tired and full of pain. "I'm not done with you." With that he ran toward the man and slashed him across the torso. His HP dropped and the duel ended. Maktane stood above the man, his hair covering his eyes, "Yeah, I'm a Red Player, the most wanted one in all for floor three... So go tell your friends where I am," He raised his head and stared at the man with a look of a crazed serial killer, "I'll be waiting." The man gasped and bolted away, as well as the others. Maktane turned towards Kaito, a slight smile appeared as he raised his hand into a thumbs up and then collapsed onto the floor.

Kaito dashed forward and rolled Maktane over looking him in the eye.
"You know, You're crazy," he said his eyes filling with tears. "And we're family...your problems are my problems alright? You're not alone anymore Vixen and I are here we can all share the load and be there for each other....If I have to stop trying to be a hero you have to stop being such a loner." he said as a tear falls to the ground.

Maktane opens his eyes and places a hand on Kaito's shoulder, "Sorry... I've never had family before..." He sits up slowly and lets out a weak and quiet chuckle, "Guess I just haven't learned what it means to be family." He smiles slightly, "Don't worry, I'll learn... It'll just take some getting use to." Maktane coughed a little, "I'm used to doing this, I mean I am a Red Player after all." He pulled out a potion and drank it. Standing up he reached out a hand, "Come on, no need to get all teary eyed." Smiling he chuckled some more. "You don't want her to think you're weak now do you?" He gestures toward the house, obviously talking about Vixen. "You're a lucky guy, just want you to know that..." He pulls Kaito to his feet and walks inside.

Vixen jumped from the window infront of the men her eyes hard and dark. She grabbed the man that stabbed maktane in the duel and grabbed him by the collar" do not mess with my family ever do you under stand?" She barked shoving him back. "If you want me to remain your blacksmith then i suggest you figure a way to apologize to him in the next 24 hours and make it good you hear me?" She shoved him back and watched as the men dispersed. She walked bsvk inside and gently ran her fingers over the figure of herself. A small blush forming upon her cheeks.

Kaito looked after Maktane a little confused. Does he think he is in the way too? he thought as he watched him walk inside. He decided to stand there in the alley for a moment thinking silently to himself before walking back into the Apartment and sitting down on the couch.

Maktane sat down in the corner, his thoughts going a million miles an hour. He shook his head and cleared his mind of everything. Why do I continue to feel sympathy for these guys? I've never felt this way, especially toward strangers... He opened his inventory and pulled out a small book. Maktane opened the book and began reading it. For a second he totally forgot about Kaito and Vixen and slammed his fist against the wall. Snapping out of it, he walk over to Kaito and dropped the book into his hands. "Keep this safe for me will you." With that he walked back to the corner and stared out of a nearby window.

Vixen jumped at the sound of maktane hitting the wall she rose to her feet and walked to him with a sigh and kneeled down. She took his hand in her own and turned it over. "You shouldn't punch things you know." She gave him.a kind smile "You should find another way to cope with anger." She acessed her inventory and another block of wood appeared in her hands she smiled and set it in his.

Maktane sat holding the block of wood and stared at it. He looked up at Kaito and then looked toward the ground, "Thanks for the gift, but don't worry about me," He gave a small gesture towards Kaito, "He looks lonely, why don't you go talk to him... I bet he could use the company." He finished by placing the wood in his inventory and staring back at the window.

Vixen sighed and leaned against the window looking at him.She scrunched her nose a bit and Frowned "What if i wanna talk to you"she said crossing her arms over her chest

Maktane looked at Vixen pain in his look, as if he was going to regret his next words for a long time, "Then have fun talking to a brick wall." His tone was dark and unforgiving. I have no place being between them... I don't deserve to be happy... He turned his attention to the floor and sat quietly. Tears started running down his face and hitting the floor. His body tensed as he brought his knees up to his chest and buried his face into them.

Vixen looked at him amazed at first but then hurt took over her expression as she rise to her feet and nodded "very well then." She stated. She turned and made her way for the kitchen frowning. Why is he such a jerk and so cold? She wondered. Why push everyone away? Why do i feel like crying? She stood in the kitchen chopping vegtables for dinner. Her mind wandering in a million different ways
