Joryn laughed "I came here after everyone was trapped, I'm not even meant to be in here.. I'm here on someones request to get someone out alive of SAO."
"Call me Joryn, you're the only one that's gonna know my real name apart from Venira, she's the girl i'm getting out of here" Joryn was trying to hide his feelings for Venira, it would of showed.

"So i forced my way in, not knowing the reason you where stuck in here was because of not being able to log out" he paused "I'm such a fool"

Cleo smiled, "You are not a fool. I'd like to know how you got in-would it be possible to get out that same way?" She wondered out loud. She reached for Joryn's hand, "do not worry, I'm sure you will get yourself, and this Venira out, you seem quite skilled"

She pulled back, sitting back in her chair once more, "I'm sure everyone will be fine" She hoped so. She made her voice sound confident, "I mean...it shouldn't be possible to die in real life playing a game, right?" Although she would still be careful to not die.

She shifted as her food was brought out, "I hope you don't mind me eating, I thought I'd be alone tonight"

Joryn felt sorry for Cleo, he was on the outside when it was happening and they're are already over 200 dead.. he wasn't gonna keep it from her.

"I can tell you a lot from the outside, everyone has a right to know but we should talk in private, come up to room 56.. i'll tell you everything" Joryn was worried.
"but lets eat first"

The food came to our table.

Cleo fell silent, not likely the tone he used. She reluctantly ate because the food smelt good, and she knew she should eat. She ate slowly, wondering what was happening on the outside, how things were going...and if there had been any deaths.

"Okay" She said when she had finished, standing, "Then lets go. Room 56?" She tried to keep her voice calm, starting for the stairs, glancing back to see if Joryn was following

Joryn didn't want to make things worse, but he had to show her who he was, he's seen her in real life.. he was buying groceries, she was getting attacked by two thugs on the street, she would of been doomed if it wasn't for Joryn

He didn't notice who she was till now, even know he didn't know her but at least he can now put a face to a name, she deserves it too.
Surprisingly it didn't end up how he wanted in the end, he managed to beat one of the thugs, but the other one nearly killed joryn, they saved each other he guess.

They walked through eh inn dorms, he said "follow me"

Cleo followed him silently, not speaking, and not making a noise either as she walked, her sneak skill enabling her to be very very quite. Her thoughts were disturbed,she was, and had been since this had started, just focusing on surviving. It seemed all she could do in this world, where she didn't know anyone from the outside world.

She studied him as they walked, keeping her face curtained by her blond hair, her eyes filled with worry and slight fear. As they reached his room, she waited for him to open the door, to go inside.

Joryn and Cleo walked down the Room hallway, and he opened the door to room 56, the room he bought.. it was the biggest room and it had it's own rooms it was basically it's own house.

"Being a friend of a beta tester helps, i forgot to tell you a bunch of things" he paused taking off his hood letting his hair flow, then dropping the mask on the windowsil, I'm level 30 by the way, shall we talk about the outside world?"

Joryn saw she was surprised to already see the party invite, he hoped she would accept, he needed to show her what level he was as well as convince her to listen.. he hopes he's made a new friend.. he didn't really sound so confident when taking off his mask, Cleo was a bit taller than Cassidy, her hair flew in the breeze when I opened the window.

"Don't worry they need to be near the door to listen, i put certain enchantments to block them hearing from certain vanity points I like" he smiled then looking down waiting for her to realize he was the guy that technically saved her one night.

Cleo sat down, noticing the party invite, she shrugged and accepted. She needed to work with people anyway, having chosen to be a rogue, her ability to fight large numbers wasn't all that great. She sent an invite to add him to her friends list, glancing up when he took of the mask.

She glanced back down, then frowned, and looked back up. "i...Do I know you?" she asked softly, frowning still. Where had she seen him before? Her brows creased as she thought, it soon coming to her.

She had been being harassed by two men, and he had come to her rescue. Of course, she had then had to rescue him. She smiled slightly at the memory, of her fleeing after it was done, after making sure he had been okay, and sent for help. She had had to explain to her parents why she was throwing out what seemed to be a perfectly good top, but it had been white, and there had been no hope of saving it from the stains on it.

"oh. um. I'm sorry I ran that day" She said, blushing. "um. The outside world?"

Joryn smiled "I was unconscious, I wouldn't of known.. but yes I did what was necessary, not to be rude... but did they ah... hurt you ?"

He sat down and looked at her with his politeness.

Cleo shook her head quickly, "No, not at all. You got there just in time" She said, "Otherwise they would have, I'm sure" She said, licking her lips again, a bad habit she had never quite broken. "Thank you. I should have stayed and made sure you woke, or something

She fell silent, thinking. "So, you were going to tell me whats been happening outside?"

Joryn suddenly turned sorrow "People have died.. 200 people have died, and its been two months since i've been here, there is bound to be more."
Joryn scavenged through his chest, and found a sack of col around about 200.. "Here I have too much col, you can have this.. being level 30 is a breeze for me"
He sat on his bed and said "If you don't want to be alone there is a room behind that door, I think it's one of the suits of this penthouse or whatever they call it here.

she blushed, joryn was lying there with a sorrow look on his face, she noticed and she sat there.

Cleo stared at him silently. 200 people? How could that be? Surely...she dropped her head in her hands and sighed heavily, "I can't die" She whispered. She refused to cry. She sighed, and looked up as he offered her the col. "I can't take that!" She said, shaking her head, "its yours!"

She closed her eyes, tight, and swallowed around a painful lump that formed in her throat. 200 people, maybe more, and here she was, trying not to cry for strangers. Although, the moment this death game had started, they had all become family. Battling to survive.

As she thought that, that was when she cried, burying her face in her hands, she sat there and sobbed. She didn't even have the chance to reply to his offer of a room. She shook, and tried very hard to get herself under control, failing. What if she died, how would her family be? "Oh, god"

Joryn noticed her crying, stood up and sat next her against the wall.. she said "Oh god"
He sat there with his knees up so he could lay his arms on it,
Joryn tapped her on the shoulder and said "I know we just met, but I swear I wont let you die... nor for anything that disgusting to happen to you again"
"I swear that everyone inside my guild will die knowing they helped.. I wont use people as useless pawns.. that's not going to happen" Joryn looked at her .. what was this caring feeling he had towards a mere stranger.. was he falling for another person?

Needing some form of comfort, Cleo buried her face in his shoulder, shameless sobbing still. She didn't know how she was going to survive, to cope, wondering every day if her next step might be her last. No. She wouldn't be like that.

After a few moments, she lifted her face, her eyes dry, her cheeks tear stained, "I won't die" She said, her voice soft, but strong. "I have to live, to kick my younger brother and sisters butts for ever getting me this game"

"Your guild sounds like it would be a good one" She said, wiping her face on her top

Joryn realised her face smothered in his shoulder and they sat there.. he looked through the window..
"Idk if you saw that guy.. that was all show off this morning, but yeah he's a beta tester, his name is Kaiden.. and I think he's one of my best mates from real life" joryn said
"He told me if I ever find anyone I think I can trust, I can bring them to this place he found, it's what got me to level 30 so quickly" he said still sorrowing.
"What level are you now? he asked she didn't lift her face an she whispered...

"Not very high" Cleo admitted, "15. I've been working on some skills and such, and I need people to help me on some floors" She said, "What place?" She asked, shifting to look at him. She sniffed, and refused to cry anymore. She pulled her hair back as she waited for him to answer, out of her face. No sense in being shy now, she had after all just cried on his shoulder.

She licked her lips again, not aware she was even doing it.

Joryn smiled "You'll see when we go tomorrow, if you want we can go see it now but I 'd want to rest first.. some beautiful scenery can mean danger sometimes, we just feel a bad vibe sometimes, near the mob of monsters"

Joryn then started talking "Don't worry, we can walk if you want.. but me being the only flash stepper I know of, which is a cross between a Knight job class and your fine roguishness" he laughed.

Eventually after he stopped talking he realized she fell asleep.. so did he.

Cleo fell asleep slowly, and in her sleep, she shifted close to him, snuggling into the warmth he offered without meaning too. She didn't sleep long, waking a few hours later. She blushed, realising she had virtually just cuddle him as she slept. Wriggling away, she stood, thinking about showering and getting into her battle gear.

Joryn noticed Cleo waking up and said just incase "If you want a shower, you're gonna want to wait.. the place where going has a bunch of hot springs to shower in... yeah the only thing this doesn't have is a shower.. don't worry you'll be able to buy a proper house later on there's some good ones on the 3rd floor ;)

She noticed he woke up and was blushing.. Joryn said "Hey don't worry bout it you needed someones shoulder to cry on.. I was the guy there so"
She smiled and went to put her battle gear on.
I might as well do the same.

Cleo was still blushing, even as she gave him a smile, and went to change, quickly opening her inventory and changing gear. She made sure she had her daggers, and a potion in easy reach.

"Okay" She said brightly, "I'm ready to go" She pulled her hair back out of her face, tying it up with a bit of rope. Hair ties were apparently impossible to get here at the moment.
