Ryuu shook his head as he got up groggily. He had a pretty uninteresting dream today, and he always had those kinds of dreams. For some reason, in his own dreams, he was unable to grasp the concept of logic and common sense, which tended to make them batsh-t insane to look at for other people. It was normal for him, though. He saw weirder things outside of his own world, and especially from his family.
Oh, he hated how his sister was capable of sending him into short video game levels! His stupid father had the ability to bring around anything with him using just his freaky pouch, and his mother oftentimes used her powers to mysteriously transform recipes of food into full-course meals. Actually, now that he thought about it, his mother's powers were always appreciated. A good mom she was! And finally, there was his older brother, who constantly sends him letters saying that he would chop his little brother's head off some day, and his little sister...
...He had no idea what she was capable of doing.
Man, I should seriously ask my parents about that touchy thing, he thought, shaking his head to wake himself up even further.
Without his sunglasses, the light hurt more than they should have. He quickly went over and dug through his backpack, taking out an extra pair. They had the same colors of his previous one, the rest of his spare sunglasses being blue, green, and red. Sure, he could live life without these glasses, but his own powers tended to hurt his eyes whenever he was forced to use them.
His sunglasses back on, his broken ones simply thrown into some random trash can, Ryuu went to the bathroom. He had taken his shirt off, leaving him only in his jeans, and his hard work of training (and randomly beating people up) was exhibited through the hardened muscles and partial scars around his shoulders. Even he was surprised to look at his own body after staring at some anime for so long, but it was more in a positive way.
"Hmm..." He thought aloud, raising an eyebrow before he began to brush his teeth in light speed. "Man, I'm good, eh?"
Good enough for her, right?... Ha ha! Yeah, you wish, right?
The otaku was quick to wrap up cleaning his teeth, proceeding to washing his own face.
Cortez jumped, surprised to hear that her roommate apparently woke up. She looked... strange, so to speak. The pirate captain knew she did not exactly have any ill intentions toward her, but something about her seemed... off. It was almost as if there were creatures within this woman, waiting to strike its prey, but then again, it could have been Cortez being paranoid. After all, she was a captain ove several undead pirates, and they always somehow managed to twist her view on regular human beings. They even claimed that humans were capable of turning into Autobots, the evil people turning into Decepticons. And obviously, they wanted to transform into Decepticons, and Cortez had no idea as to what they were even talking about.
"A-Ahoy, lass!" Cortez exclaimed, surprised to have met her roommate in such an awkward location. The pirate lady motioned Andromeda to wait for a quick second, finishing up on brushing her teeth, before she said with a toothy grin, "M' name is Jeanne R. Cortez! Captain of the Screaming Pearl!"
Finishing up her surprisingly short introduction, the pirate lady asked her, "So... methinks heading out to take my classes soon would be a good idea. Before that, aye, where might you have come from, matey? Me comes from the seas!"
