Little Feather
Lion kept stopping and looking back over his shoulder to make sure Kathy was following him as he followed the weak scent of Little Feather. When they reached the garden he reared up on his back legs next to Kathy looking around curiously, his eyes caught sight of Little Feather about the same time Kathy did. With a happy grumble, Lion trotted across the grass towards Little Feather the sides of his mouth lifting up happily. He instantly headbutted Little Feather affectionately a deep purr rumbling free of his chest, as he rubbed his head against her shoulder, looking up at Kathy with sparkling blue eyes before he moved back over to her, licking at her unharmed hand, his rough tongue grazing her skin in his way of thanking her. Little Feather watched Lion for a moment, smiling and waving at Kathy enthusiastically. “Hey!” She beamed before she was bombarded with comments and questions...she put a hand to her head looking from the strange girl next to her to Kathy as she tried to take in everything said.
She looked a little embarrassed about the pale girls first comment, looking up at Kathy as she heard the girl say more confusing words. Time travel? Her face expressed her confusion. “Oh...I wasn’t taught to read. We used to communicate by words mainly or symbols, it wasn’t necessary for me to know how to read” Little Feather explained to the pale girl. “Costume? Comiccon?” Little Feather repeated, her eyes were practically black and white swirls of confusion by now. “My you do use strange words...” Little Feather murmured, sighing in relief as Lion nuzzled her face affectionately. This one talks strange but means well... Lion grumbled at Little Feather, his tail wagging as he sat behind her watching Kathy and the dark haired girl converse. Speaking of strange...you missed out on a lot, and I need you to clarify a question for me later Lion purred, lifting the sides of his mouth in a smile.
