He'd be a human, except without the ability to feel pain, and he regenerates quickly. He doesn't have any offensive powers. Sure, he'd probably be good at martial arts or something, but in a school such as this...What, you don't like my idea? :,(
(Sorry, I'm just in a seriously p-ssed off state, but I won't be sharing about why. It's outside news.)
The problem with regeneration is that it completely defeats the purpose for healers. Sure, there could be some who have regenerative abilities, but that comes with the cost of less combative abilities. I've been pretty lax whenever someone mentioned regeneration, and that was because they actually lacked powerful combat abilities.
Being unable to feel pain AND being able to regenerate overall makes a dull character because it provides far less potential in giving characters life, and it screams of "try hurting me, I dare you". I do not know about what others have to say, but the only thing I found that really got my attention was the martial arts part. And as of recent Character Sheets, it seems as if people are intentionally implementing new abilities to their characters to ensure that they won't die.
Truth be told, I think you could make something better. An experiment already sounds interesting, and I will appreciate it if you focused more on implementing abilities that truly reflect upon a character's
personality. I am terrible at that, but I can easily tell if something reflects upon another.
