This is a teaser.
"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there... wondering...fearing... doubting: dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before."
Long, long, long ago in a very lone place,
I lived with ease: a fairly normal pace.
"'Tis the time to be blind," I always said
To make sure I rest in peace every night on my bed.
There were no doubts within my thoughts
for my train of dreams departs without any spare slots.
Fell asleep I did, my tiredness prevailing
for the night before I had a dream that scared me.
A lone man with the face of the Reaper
had told me that my strength was getting weaker,
and that my time was getting nearer,
nearer and nearer.
And his horse wanted to tell me the very same thing
but it only neighed with malicious intentions.
For only a day it would trouble me,
or so, that was what I thought it to be.
For no one truly knew
what was true from beyond.
The dream came again, much to my consternation,
my lively dreads coming back to its destination.
Around me I heard laughter, everything with truth,
but what was around me, I never understood.
For no one truly knew
what was true from beyond.
The passengers next to me were laughing with glee,
their sickly faces chewing with greed.
My own brain felt weird when I saw another get eaten,
slowly and slowly, my soul was beaten.
And in an instant, I fled and cried,
but no one was there for me to watch me fly.
As I ran, my wings of sin had spread for flight.
All of the men and women were gone, giving more fright.
The windows glowed red, my cheeks went blue
when I saw the lone man, waiting for food.
I turned back for any glimmering hope
but alas, the passengers had vanished, gone from my truth.
Long, long, long ago in a very lonely place,
I lived with fear: running and tumbling from the reaper's face.
"Stay back, stay back!" I hissed in defense,
but he, instead, raised his trident for the offense.
The trident that screamed death and dire desires,
the trident that yearned my sins as suppliers.
Long, long, long ago in a very lonely place,
no one remained in the Graveyard of Solace.
Everyone lived underneath the surface,
and one man ensured that no one surfaced.
All of the denizens of the ground all understood
The grave truth that came
From Beyond.
