The older man had entered the room without Damon even noticing. “Be seated please” he requested and sat in the doorway. Damn, that’s that option out of the window, looked like Damon would be here longer than he would like.

“This place is dangerous. If you want to leave, try as much as you want. I wouldn’t though, tranqs or poison” the girl said, without removing her hand from his shoulder. Her hand must be cold, he could feel it through his shirt and it sent a shiver down his spine. She explained the gun at least- must have been a tranquilliser. What the hell did she mean by poison though? Also, why would an asylum be dangerous? Did she mean the other patients? Damon was well and truly freaked out, though the girl seemed quite please with herself, giggling as she finally let go of him and sat down. He couldn’t help but wonder what was wrong with her, apart from her apparent need to scare him.

Seeing as the door was blocked and his attempt to escape foiled, Damon sat down and closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. Why was he the only normal person here? Even the older man who appeared to be in charge looked crazy.

Sammy sat down and glared at the floor focusing on making the voices shut up.

"Be seated please." Lucy heard, she sighed but didn't turn as she kept her hand on the boy's shoulder, she leaned over to him to whisper in his ear. "This place is dangerous, if you want to leave. Try as much as you want. I wouldn't though, tranqs or poison." She giggled and turned to sit back down.

"We heard you the first time." Zack told Lucy. He thought that she was addressing him. "You don't have to repeat yourself. Just because there are two of us doesn't mean that we are deaf."

"Good it looks like almost everyone is here." Vlad made his way to the middle of the circle of the circle the chairs made. "Welcome one and all. My name is Vlad Putin and I am your new doctor. Together we are going to help you overcome your problems so you can function in society. Are their any questions?"

"Just one. May I please have my handcuffs removed? They're digging into my skin." Sammy says looking up a bit. She still had her calm look which meant she had focused long enough and hard enough to silence the voices.

Arabella's door was open and a guard came in. When he tried to grab the girls arm she cried out and jerked away, her body beginning to tremble. He gave an irritable sigh. "Get up!" He snapped, nudging her with his boot harshly. She whimpered and slowly climbed to her feet. "Follow me." He ordered and forced the girl in front of him. He lead her to a room and opened the door. "Go take a seat." He demanded and showed the small girl into the room. She squeaked, stumbled forward a few steps and fell hard onto her hands and knees. She whimpered again and went to rise to her feet only to freeze when her eyes caught sight of all the people in the room. Her eyes widened in fear and she began to tremble again as she shakily climbed to her feet and quickly sat down in an empty chair where she hugged her knees to her chest, wrapped her arms around them and proceeded to shrink down in the seat; trying to make herself as small as possible.

"Welcome little one." Vlad greeted the late arrival gentle. "My name is Vlad. I won't keep you among the other's long. I just have a few things to explain." Vlad then turned to the girl in the handcuffs. She didn't seem as dangerous as the others, but he trusted his guards. "Can you stay in control for the rest of the meeting?"

"Yes sir." Sammy said with a small nod. Despite her parents always ignoring her she had very good manors and was very smart, despite her dumbish looks.

Sara watched as the doctor focused on this one gentle girl, she wasn't going to be gentle if she got loose though. Lucy nodded her agreement somewhere in the back of her head, they both decided that if the girl went mad they would use that chance to try and go back to their room.

"Fine." Vlad signaled the guard to in handcuff the girl. The guard hurried to do so. As the guards undid the cuffs, Vlad continued. "The more you cooperate the more freedom and rewards you will receive. The more difficult you ate the less you get. We will have individual, small, and large group sessions."

Sammy rubbed her red wrist and listened to what he said repeating a poem over and over in her head to keep the voices at bay.

Sara smiled at Vlad, the news was fairly exciting to her. "What do you mean? What is good?" She needed to know the code before she felt happy. Lucy waited for a nice moment to cut in.

Arabella remained firmly curled up in her chair, her eyes fixed on the ground. She was listening to the conversations around her but she refused to look up. Her blonde hair fell around her face, hiding her gold-auburn eyes.

"Good is following the rules and doing as your told. Attending sessions and cooperating with myself and the guards." Vlad explained.

Sara sighed and leaned back in her chair. "Lucy doesn't agree, she likes to be dangerous." She shrugged and started to hum what sounded like a twisted lullaby.

Sammy shook her head then froze for a moment. "Are we allowed to decorate our rooms with non-dangerous things?"

"Sorry sir, I can't cont-." "Listen up Vladimir, I am not going to take your crap." Lucy cut in with a smile, Sara bit her lip and frowned. "I can't control her, that is why I'm here."

"You're decorations must be approved by me." Vlad stated. "And said decorations can be taken from you if you break a rule or don't cooperate."

Arabella continued to sit there quietly, eyes still focused intently on her feet. She was waiting for the moment where she could bolt back to her room and get away from anyone that might touch her. She shuddered just thinking about it.
