I think it's just Renji and Rangiku who're going to inspect the situation. While he wouldn't usually bother with someone weaker than him, Ishimatsu might fight one of them out of boredom, if no one else does. I'd be willing to play one of the lieutenants if necessary; I just have to try and remember/look up their personalities.

@Archangel89 I can't speak for the GM, but I find it's a good idea to work on a CS before that question is answered.

Derren and Hansa's characters are the more Kidou-oriented, to my knowledge, but you'll have to ask them about the specifics if you're curious. There's links to every CS except mine and Hagura's on the first post, so that's also a useful place to consult.

Yui is a skilled Kido practitioner, but she tends to mix it with martial combat, serving more of a 'battlemage' or 'spellsword' role than a 'pure caster' role. I think Hansa and Fox's characters are similar in that respect? But they'd have to weigh in personally.

Yeah throw down a CS and we shall see what your cookin' :P I don't think we have any out and out Bakudo specialists but as has already been iterated there are a few that are sufficient in the art.

I wouldn't mind taking control on Renji I would just prefer not to have to NPC both the lieutenants and I think I would do a really bad job with Rangiku. Hideyoshi won't get involved but will tell the other Jakakumei what to do when the fight occurs.

Well my idea for a character was to make him to where Bakudo was the major focus of his skill setin fact his zampaktou increases his bakudo skills. How do you all feel about original spells/skills

Well whilst I don't want to see a whole new list of bakudo and I would like to see the typical ones I don't mind you creating one or two as long as they are not OP and are quite realistic

i edited my post a bit more to acknowledge Noburo. Also, would it be too much for my guy's zanpaku-to to form a short blade for offense? he'd have to have no Glass out on the battlefield and it would still be a fragile piece of glass. He basically couldn't defend with it, but could attack the opponent at least. Right now my character has no chance of winning a fight, tbh.

Yeah, I've got no problem with you forming the glass into a sword and you can even have it solidify back into metal if you want so you have an actual sword to fight with. but if you want your sound cones you will have to melt it again.

for now History isn't as important so just doing your Zanpakuto powers would allow me to accept you quickly and then you can flesh him out later.
