"Alright... It'll only be a few seconds before he's up and running."
Two men were seated on a couch as they waited patiently for the third member of their group of regain consciousness. The older looking one in the group placed a chakram-like weapon on the back of the unconsciousness man. The weapon was essentially what controlled the inner workings to the being, and he had just adjusted it to fit better for the job. The unconscious man lay lifelessly on a coffee table right in front of the two men, the colored lines on his suit changing from a bright orange to a white, then to a sky blue color.
The younger looking man looked at the older one and glanced at the unconscious one, silently telling him what was on his mind. He was curious as to why Kevin picked out this program out of all of the others. With a small smile, Kevin glanced at the unconscious program once again and laughed silently. "I picked him, Tron, because he was a little different than the others. I have a good feeling that Sam put him in here just for me to find him, but I do think that he has potential. He was eyeing those light-cycles during the games. I can tell that he wanted to be there riding around." Both of them remembered how that encountered the safeguard program at the races during his time off. Just before every race, he would look at the racers and study them a little. Once he picked one out, he would watch only that one until the race was over. Most of the time, the racer that he picked was the one that won, but he still had his fair share of losses.
Minutes passed and a small shock brought the program back to the land of the living. He looked around with his eyes as he took in his surroundings, trying to remember where he was and how he got there. He was at the Flynn's safehouse, where Tron and Kevin watched over the grid to keep the peace. He had been told that it was the same house that Quorra, the last ISO, had hid in for so long, and also heard that Sam Flynn hid in the house as well. There was a lot of history in the area, and every once and a while, Quorra and Sam Flynn would visit the grid and come to the safehouse.
A soft chuckling brought the program out of his thoughts as he turned his head to look at Kevin, who smiled at him and offered him a hand to pull himself up with. The Program took the hand and nodded thankfully to the master Program, who received a nod right back to him. "Well, Cable? How do you feel? You're no longer a safeguard program, but a free program that's perfect for going where others can't. You'll be leading the Grid Guardians with the occasional help from tron, but we need to find the others first. Just go out and find any programs you think will do well in out line of work."
