If it's alright with the GM, I made another character today.
Name : Paige Young
Age : 20
Gender : Female
Personality : Spontaneous and somewhat psychotic, Paige has no respect for personal boundaries and often offends others or makes people incredibly uncomfortable around her. Her movements are random and are often accompanied by her haunting laughter. One would think she was dancing, contorting her thin body into strange bends and shapes often to unnerve her guild mates.
She tends to be over emotional and hyper most of the time, as well as having an unusual habit of talking about herself in 3rd person. Her past is disturbing and most people don’t want to hear it, but that doesn’t stop her from bringing it up constantly. What other people find disturbing, she finds fascinating, and as a result she has no shame sharing the gruesome details of her horrific childhood. People wonder why she stays in Fairy Tail, and in truth she doesn’t know herself. She just likes to go with the flow, see where life takes her. The people at fairy tail are creative, wacky and almost as psychotic as she is; and she loves that.
She has a passion for all forms of art; writing, painting, music, theatre, fashion and even magic itself. She adores creativity and uses her hyperactive imagination to make truly amazing things with her magic. She may be a little bit insane, but she fits right in at Fairy Tail.
History : Not many would believe that Paige was the daughter of 6th Ranked Wizard Saint Jiraiya, and that’s because it’s not true. While he has been retired for over 10 years now and had his Saint status removed by the Magic Council, it was of no question that Jiraiya was a wizard of great power. Young Paige was the daughter of a lovely young couple that belonged to the same Guild as Jiraiya, but it goes without question that Paige preferred spending time with the Wizard Saint. One day while Jiraiya was out on a mission, their Guild was invaded by many powerful mages belonging to a Dark Guild. Paige’s parents begged them to let her go, but their pleads only served to amuse the animals who would then tie Paige up on one of the tables and tilt it up so that she could watch every last one of her guild members, starting with her parents, be slowly torn to pieces and killed by the dark mages. They were slow and precise with their torture, and Paige was stuck there for 3 days while they painted her up in blood, stripped away her clothes and stuck sharp needles into her. Reinforcements eventually came, but by then there were only a handful of members left. The wizards were captured and locked away for life, but they had already left scars on Paige that would never heal.
When Jiraiya returned from his mission he did his best to comfort Paige, but nothing would stop her quite ramblings and tears. She’d repeat the names of everyone she was forced to watch die over and over again, as if they were branded into her mind. She spent a lot of her time inside, drawing the faces of the ‘bad men’ who hurt her parents. She drew, sand and performed all by herself, and eventually it just wasn’t enough. She wanted to learn magic. She wanted to learn the most beautiful, creative form of magic there was. Jiraiya possessed the Lost Magic, the Arc of Embodiment, and there was no magic more perfect for her to learn. The ability to turn imagination into reality was the most creative form of magic she could think of. Unfortunately, learning a lost magic is no walk in the park and it became more and more evident that Paige would never be able to learn to use the Arc of Embodiment. Seeing how disheartened she was, Jiraiya asked for her permission to intertwine a magical Lacrima in with her body that would greatly amplify her magic and allow her to use the Arc of Embodiment. She agreed, but having the Lacrima placed inside her was incredibly painful; but she was no stranger to pain even at the young age of 10.
Once the Lacrima was in the place, she spent most of her adolescence training with the Wizard Saint and even developed her own style of creation that involved the faces and corpses of her fallen family. While this form of creation was rather disturbing to Jiraiya, he understood that it was her way of coping and tried his best to be supportive of it. When she was 15, she had heard news of the men who had killed her family being moved to a new prison that wasn’t too far from where she lived. Just hearing their names triggered a psychotic reaction from her, in which she tore apart her room and threw a tantrum at Jiraiya for telling her she was to stay inside the house until he organised their removal. Having them removed wasn’t what she had in mind, so that night she snuck out and infiltrated the prison. With her Arc of Embodiment, she sent forth her undead minions to take down the guards so she could find the men responsible for her torture as a child. Her minions killed a lot of innocent guards, but she didn’t care. Her only goal was revenge, and anyone who got in her way would pay the price. When she found her targets, she gathered them up in the main hall of the prison. Jiraiya arrived at the Prison soon after, but he was too late. Paige tortured the mind and body of the men who had wronged her in such a sick and twisted way, that he instantly regretted ever teaching her to use magic. To say that she killed them would be an understatement.
Jiraiya was too old for this sort of work, and so he sought out the help of his friend Dia; the Fairy Tail Guild Master. He told her he planned on revoking his title as Wizard Saint and retiring. Looking after Paige was far too much work for him, and he just couldn’t keep up with someone so broken and twisted. Paige didn’t spare the details to anyone she met at Fairy Tail, and fairly soon everyone knew of her little breakdown in the prison and the lives she took. Very few people blamed her though, and it became obvious that despite her power as a mage she would need a lot of mental healing at Fairy Tail if they were to ever find out what she was really like. Since joining Fairy Tail, she’s improved dramatically over the years. She’s still a little off, but she rarely ever has big episodes or fits anymore. Dia thought she’d improved so much that she could even take the S-Class Exam; however she pulled out halfway through due to another mental breakdown which prevented her from continuing the exam. It’s not known whether or not she could make S-Class, but her magic power combined with the Lacrima inside her has given her exceptional strength and she’s proved herself more than once to be an incredibly capable Mage.
Magic Type : Caster Magic
Magic : Paige uses the Arc of Embodiment, a lost magic that lets her turn imagination into reality. Anything she can think of, her magic wills to life. Despite the diversity this form of magic offers, Paige chooses to limit herself to creating undead warriors with the faces and form of her dead family and friends. She’s not even sure if she has the skill to use her magic to create anything else. Common spells she uses with this include;
Warriors of the Dead - Paige can create a variety of undead warriors, ranging from skeletons, wraiths and zombies. Each can be equipped with different weapons according to her specific needs. These warriors are quite sturdy, but will shatter when defeated. Paige cannot rebuild them and will have to create new warriors if her current ones fall.
Bone Make - Paige can summon forth different sizes and shapes of bones similar to how a mage uses Maker Magic. Her bones are incredibly durable, able to withstand most physical attacks and moderate magical offences.
Grave Digger - Paige summons forth a large tombstone from the earth. The soil around the structure becomes rotten and soft. Anyone standing on the soil will have undead warriors reach up from the earth and attempt to drag them down into the ground with them.
Mist of Pestilence - Paige bathes the battlefield in a deadly toxin, causing sickness and weakening the physical capabilities of anyone caught inside it. She can control the density of the poisons as well as well as who breathes it in; allowing allies to fight within it safely.
Paige is capable of using more than just these spells, but these are a few of her favourites. The way she uses her Arc of Embodiment, she prefers to bring forth large structures associated with graveyards such as tombstones, mausoleums and statues of angels. After Paige murdered the men who killed her guild, she developed a large beast through her Arc of Embodiment with incredible power.
Beelzebub, Prince of Hell - Using her Arc of Embodiment, Paige summons forth a gigantic, monstrous fly wearing a large cape of corpses and wielding a scepter with a skull on it. Beelzebub is able to fly at high speeds and possesses immense physical strength and durability. He has amazing vision, able to pick up even the tiniest details. Beelzebub is capable of swallowing people whole, where the powerful acid of his stomach makes short work of them.
Here she is. I got her art from tumblr user Ikimaru, if anyone is interested in checking out her other work. If you don't want us to have more than 1 character that's fine, I'll just keep Paige hidden until another rp... unless I forget about her.
