Denise eyes followed his movements as he went to lean on the wall.
"You okay?"
"Yeah..I'm good." She tightly grabbed onto her hand, trying to make her hand stop shaking. Why am I scared? I shouldn't be, I wake up like this everyday before I had a group.. Denise looked down at the empty seat next to her. She gingerly patted on it and smiled up at Jon. "You seem tired. Are you sure you don't want to nap?"

"So she fell asleep, huh? She must have felt safe and protected around you." Jim said

"Darn I forgot to murder her whilst you where gone" Steph joked.

"You can catch some Z's if you want. I'll stand guard until one of you wakes up." Jim said

"Nah don't worry I caught some before everything went down at the school."
She watched as the sun rose, then looked down to the grossness on her hoodie. She slipped it off and threw It over the balcony. The t-shirt underneath would have to do for now.
She walked back inside grabbing the shotgun once again and looking for some ammo. She began to check some cupboards.

"Alright then. I'll rest." Jim told Steph.
Jim never really, truly slept. But he rested, ready to spring up at a moment's notice.

Steph soon found a box of shotgun shells in the cabinet that the shotgun she now had was once probabley locked away inside.
This boss character might have been part of some type of crime syndicate maybe. Funny seen as this was a Law Firm building.
She shrugged, it didn't matter now anyway, as she began to load the pump action shotgun sliding in four shells into the under barrel tubing, and a final one into the chamber.
Steph dragged the office swivel chair into the middle of the room, and sat facing the door.
"I guess im on guard duty.." Steph muttered to herself as she sighed.
She realised how much trust the two had put into her, she could easily blast there heads off now and throw them out the window.
Despite this thought she knew it wouldn't be the right thing to do, her morality was at least still intact.... mostly. Anyway she would need them to meet up with the others in the future.

Ky was still awake but she was lost in her thoughts. She could kept out of her mind the lab where the infection was created along with its vaccination and cure.

Jon nodded and dropped on the couch next to her. When he glanced at her, he smiled back. Communication was new to him again. Since every single person he knew back in the normal days has died, interacting felt weird, especially the friendly type. But of course, it was relief.

"I'm not that tired. Why don't you go sleep?" he asked her. Since everything that went down, it was harder to just go to sleep. Mostly because there was too much to worry about, and Jon wasn't too excited about the next day; he doubts anyone was anymore. Now that he has two new companions, it didn't get better. Ky seemed like someone who can take care of herself. Despite the height, he knew she was a lot older. But Denny was little, and he won't be able to stop being careful with that kid.

Ky rubbed her eyes and forced the memories from her mind

"Nah, I'm not that tired." Denise said, throwing up a peace sign at Jon. "Plus, I need to protect you guys!" She said, proudly pounding her chest. At a leisurely pace, her hand slowly rose upon her face making a gun with her fingers. "Boom." She mouthed, smiling. She pretended something was behind Jon. "See, I'll protect you and Ky." Muttered Denise as she clasped her hands together and formed a smile.

"You guys are like family to me. You see, I got scared because I had thought you guys left me. Betrayed me, ya know?" Her hazel eyes gleamed as she stared at Jon with a smirk on her face. "We should eat, I'll go get Ky!" Denise said, attempting to get up.

Charles arrived at the entrance to the building, he hoped to find Jim in his office but thought he was proberly gone by now, he shouted up to him hoping he would respond, that's when he fell out the building.... he landed on the ground with a dry splat, his chin was blown off by some sort of shell. he thought that maybe he offed himself and fell from the window, or he was killed and thrown out. he feels obliged to help, after all, he was one of his only friends.

Jon chuckled when she made that peace sign with her fingers. It was really silly. He watched as she made an act of shooting a zombie beside him. "Woah, it almost got me," he played along, pretending to look shaken although he was a bad actor. It was such normal behavior, that it felt like inside the house, there were no monsters.

"We wouldn't betray you," he assured her, raising his pinky like a kid making a promise. After that, he gently took Denise and pulled her off the couch to help her up. "Yeah, go get her." He waved at the little girl, smiling.

Ky was humming a little lullaby that her mother had sang to her when she was little. It was a way for her to keep calm when it was time for bed

Charles power walked into the waiting room, shotgun up high, he walked to the stairwell door and was surprise it wasn't blocked, "strange. he always blocks doors. Charles pushes the door lightly and it swings open. "well, lets hope there friendly" he takes a step up, and pauses, "ill wait till more light, yea. that's what ill do" he walked down the steps and settled down on one of the foyer seats and went for the while.

Spencer was very tired, she didnt have time for sleep in her traveling days. No one does actually. Suddenly she popped up awake. "Oooooh. I havent had a sleep in days.... and I cant sleep." Spencer sighed standing up from the ground and walking towards a window (if there was) . Seeing outside the beautiful sunshine. She turned her head seeing Jim getting rest and turning to Steph. "You can rest up girl. I can watch."

"Nah don't worry its coming morning now and we need to start searching the floors soon. " Steph said as she walked to the large floor to ceiling windows that made up two of the walls of the office.
"No matter what, the sun rise always has a special thing about it that makes it beautiful" Steph said dreamily.
She looked from the red sky to the ground below, the ruined streets and corpses shuffling. It wasn't a pleasant sight and so Steph looked back to the sky line.
"Want to clear a floor whilst the big guys asleep?" She asked Spencer as she turned to her.
"Just the one below, see if there is anything, probably not and we might find some supplies?"

*EVENT FOR DOC*
Soon after Doc sat down to rest till light a horde of zombies shuffled into the building. They spotted him and started to shuffle towards him ((Only I can control these zombies and the Doc can't talk to them. ;) The Doc need something to slow him down like everyone said))

Spencer nodded at Steph as she grabbed her bow and her arrows and got ready. She looked at Jim sleeping smiling at him and turning back to Steph. "Ready when you are."

"Awesome" Steph smiled slinging the shotgun around her shoulder as she picked up her cricket bat.
Steph slowly left the office, leading the way. She noticed that the wire connected to the cans in the office followed down the staircase.
When they got to the floor below she saw the tripwire.
"Be careful not to knock it..." Steph muttered pointing into the blackness, Spencer may not have seen it because of how dark it was. There where no windows in the stairway after all.
Stepping over the wire, the two of them slowly moved into the bottom floor, into a large cubicle room.
"Ok we should search for living corpses then see if there is anything we can grab."
Steph muttered as they began to search the cubicle blocks.

Spencer nodded as she stepped over the wire and walked right behind Steph. "Alrighty." She nodded once again looking around for anything that would be useful, but ofcourse not making any type of nooises. "I hope there is some kind of useful thing that we may use. Because this bow isn't cutting it. "

"You can always have your handgun back if you want." Steph muttered, the two covering each other as they checked the cubicles.
Everything seemed pretty normal, this floor hadn't got a lot of action it seems. As they got to the end of the large cubicle room they turned to find a water cooler and vending machine. The vending machine was obviously off but, peering inside the two could see food.
"Ok step back.." Steph muttered taking a tight grip on her cricket bat. She swung and smashed the glass.
Steph laughed a little with excitement as she grabbed a plastic bag and began to fill it with the chocolate bars and fizzy drinks.
