Jim awoke when he heard a crash. He looked around and girls weren't there.
Never thought I'd fall asleep.
He went down the stairs and listened, and he heard the girls laughing.
Heh. They're alright.
Jim went upstairs and continued with the escape plan preparations. He knew that in times of danger, elevators are set to go back to the ground floor(citation?). He then pried open the elevator doors and held it open with a table's end. Then, he used his remaining cord, tied it well in a nearby sturdy object and went back downstairs.
There he nodded at the girls and pried and kept open the elevator door, and he saw the cord. He pulled on it, tested its strength and was satisfied. He used it to go back to the top floor, grinning at his new escape route.

Spencer smiled as Steph brole the vemding machine and she laughed silently picking up a candy bar, one by one. "Wooho. Oh my god. My favorite." She grabbed a kitkat and opened it, eati g it and turned to Steph. "Whenever you are ready."

With the bag of chocolate and drinks Steph quickly checked the break room. Nothing In there but electronics that wouldn't work any more.
"So that was a success then we should drop this off and maybe check the next floor?" Steph said walking back up the stairs to drop off the bag of food and drink

Through the open elevator doors of the top floor and the one below it, Jim heard the girls talking. He heard Steph coming back upstairs, so he waited, and when she was in, he said "Checking the next floor? Can I come with?"

"yawn" as he awoke from his slumber, he knew that he had to find the killers of old jim (not captainboobgrab), he started the clime up the stairs to his main base up top, he diddnt go up stairs with gun ready, he was just running with no care for his safety,

"but I thought you where having so much fun?" Steph joked dropping off the bag of stuff.
"Sure we have a lot to get through so feel free to join, it will speed it up. I am most interested about the security floor."
Steph had a gleam in her eye.
"Lets get going then." Steph adjusted the shotgun on her shoulder as she swung the bat in practice.

"Heheh, I am having fun. That's why I wanna go, gotta find some more scrap." Jim said, bringing his bat and bag with him to follow Steph. "Sup Spencer?"

Charles hit the 5th floor and stopped, the stair well was blocked by some zombies. "CRAP". Charles says something in the strange language for them to move, they turn and look at him, he tries again and they walk towards him.... he starts to get desperate, he shouts at them to stop. they run. he shoulders the shotgun, gets his right eye in. a shot rings out and the front two go down, he takes a knee and fires again. the sound echoes around the office block and up the elevator shaft.

Spencer nodded towards Steph as she they walked to the stairs finding Jim there. She was still eating her kit-kat bar. "Heyy there you." She smiled at him as they all now went to check up on another floor. Spencer offered Jim some of her chocolate candy bar.

As they arrived to the other floor, they would notice more bodies on the ground and alot of doors closed in that same hallway. "So many doors....how are we going to check this one? Should we split up?" Spencer now heard a gunshot. "What .... was that?!"

Jim took the candy bar to save for later. "Thanks, Spencer."
Emergency energy. Nice
"Crap. Someone's here. Could be danger, seems to have brought friends, too. What do you guys think? He might be needing help." Jim said, indecisive whether to help and risk his group, or to retreat and defend themselves from the potential danger the stranger might be, and might have brought.

"What .... was that?!" Spencer asked

Steph pumped the shotgun "Another corpse" She threatened.

"Crap. Someone's here. Could be danger, seems to have brought friends, too. What do you guys think? He might be needing help." Jim said

"Well we have to do something the racket is bringing all the zombies that where on the lower floors up..." Steph was annoyed at this sudden intrusion.

Spencer grabbed her bow and an arrow, she was ready just incase. "Look. We are gonna either have to go up to our base or whatever you wanna call it. Or we will go down there to help that person. Sooo, let's choose please." She nodded towards them because she actually didn't have time to be standing while the horde comes to their floor. Spencer sighed really dissapointed because she wanted to explore a bit more.

"This is a bad, bad idea." Jim said.
"I'll take point. Cover me?" He said towards Spencer, with a smile.
And then he walked downstairs towards the noise.
A few floors down, he managed to see the man fending off zombies.
"Hey. Does he look familiar to you?" Jim asked the others.

Charles cant believe he has to do this, he starts screaming and flailing around. you see the joys of being at the lab is he knows about areas of the zombie. he notices some people standing there. "a little help please." he diddnt know if they helped. he was knocked out by one of them, as he slowly fell to the floor he saw his son saying his name..... and he was at peace. then his son walked back into the light and the white light turned black and he got hotter..... he was going to hell.

Spencer grabbed her bow closing one eye and the other opened as she aimed towards the zombie that was getting closer to the guy and shot an arrow as it hit the zombie's head. The zombie fell on the ground, dead. "I dont know him but lets help him."

Steph followed and through the flailing arms couldn't make out who it was.
She aimed the shotgun and fired it, the recoil hurting her arm as she moved a little backwards.
The shot hit the zombie she was aiming at and it fell.
She racked the slide once again, annoyed that this stupid bang stick didn't have a stock.
Steph let off another round "Grab him we'll cover you!" Steph yelled to Jim racking the slide and releasing another volley of buckshot.

Upon seeing the man knocked out, Jim rushed, even jumping steps on the way to help him. With the cover fire, he managed to carry him in a fireman's lift. When he reached the girls, he realized that they had to stop the zombies from advancing, one way or another. He put the man on the ground beside the girls, within their sights if he moved, and said "Don't let them get past you."

Then, Jim opened the nearest office. Luckily there were only two zombies inside, whom he easily dispatched. He then took desks, one by one and threw them towards the lower landing. When there were enough desks to cover the landing, he went down and arranged it so that there was a tall wall, a desk barricade that will halt the zombies' progress. If they needed to get down, they can jump. If they needed to get back up, they can climb, which the zombies probably could not do. The barricade would only probably fall to a huge, determined horde of zombies.

Panting, he looked to the girls and showed them a thumb up, signaling that it was done.

Steph lay down covering fire, slowly aiming and fireing, the recoil was taken its toll on her arm though and they where aching.
As the last table was set up Steph had depleted her 5 shells. They would be able to take out the few zombies that where left when they where more prepared
"Cmon lets go" She said leading the way back up, she still hadn't seen who the mystery man was but he better have a good explanation for running and screaming like an idiot.

Charles awakes and looks around the office. "am i in hell yet?", when he sees the man standing over him and hearing shots being fired. he knows hes dead as a doormat, he puts his hand back and clutches his M9, if he has to fight he will. but he would like not to.

"Yeah, lets." Jim said, then picked up the man. Exhausted, he took his time to carry the man, the seemingly familiar man up 7 floors. When they reached the top floor, Jim plopped down to rest. Still panting, he disarmed the man and found a variety of weapons. He told Steph, "Hey. We gotta tie this guy up. He might be dangerous. Can you cut some of the rope I tied on the elevator shaft? It's longer than needed anyway. After that, let's tie him up. Here's his stuff." Jim said, as he took out one bottle of water and drank from it, consuming all in one go.
