When Shiranui entered Mt. Ember, he felt a similar heat to what he felt back at the Cinnabar Gym. He trudged forward until he got to the deepest part of the cave where he saw Moltres. "Saisei, I choose you!" He called Mewtwo out and the fiery bird took a battle stance and let out a loud squawk. "Saisei, Psychic! Mega Ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and an orb of energy surrounded Saisei. The orb shattered to reveal the Mewtwo smaller than he was with his purple tail now attached to the back of his head. His fingers and toes were purple and instead of a secondary neck he had what looked like a wreath with sharp horns at each end. He was now a Mega Mewtwo Y and he let loose with a psychic force much more powerful than back at the gym. Moltres was smashed against the wall and Shiranui readied a Dusk Ball. "Dusk Ball, go!" He threw the Dusk Ball and Moltres was drawn in.
"So this is Mega Evolution," the Mewtwo stated.
"I believe this is one of your Mega forms," answered Shiranui as he was watching the shaking Dusk Ball, "I can show you the other later on."
"I look forward to it," replied Mewtwo as the ball pinged shut, "Looks like you have another Pokémon to train."
"I'll name it Suzaku," said Shiranui, "Let's get out of here before we get too dehydrated." Saisei nodded and Shiranui recalled the Mewtwo before making a hasty exit.

Liam overheard the Plateau's Joy talking on the phone with Cerulean's Joy, who was saying her Center was on emergency power, and that she feared something happened at the Power Plant. Liam had Sherlock teleport him to Cetulean and went west to the Power plant. He went in to investigate. Liam encountered a small yellow Pokemon that looked like it had a plug on its head.
" Elekid, the Electric Pokemon.Spinning its arms around to generate electricity makes the area between its horns shine light blue. However, it can't store the energy it makes."
Liam called on Cubone for this battle. The battle went on for a few minutes before Liam managed to catch the Elekid, nicknaming him Volt. Liam continued to investigate. Nothing seemed to be off here and he wasn't sure what was causing it. He then saw what looked like electrical discharge. He then saw a yellow wing flapping. He then saw a giant yellow bird
"Zapdos, the Electric Pokemon. A legendary Pokémon that is said to live in thunderclouds. It freely controls lightning bolts." Liam called on Snorunt. Snorunt used Powder Snow. Zapdos used Agility to move faster. Snorunt used Ice Beam again. Zapdos used Thunderbolt. Snorunt was worse for ware "Ice Beam!" This one was lucky enough to freeze Zapdos. Liam tossed a ball at the frozen bird pokemon. When the ball snapped shut, Liam recovered it and nicknamed Zapdos, Nikola. He then called on Sherlock to see how they could repair this. Sherlock used Confusion to safely reconnect all the wires and make it all work again. "Now, lets go let Cerulean's Joy know it is all fixed and return to the Plateau." Liam said. When he had done so, he sent Pokemon back to Oak's lab so he could train his two new Pokemon some. "Shiranui is going to be surprised when he sees this."

Unbeknownst to Liam, Shiranui was having similar thoughts as he rode Ryuu back to the mainland. "Liam will flip when he sees Saisei and Suzaku," he said to himself as he directed Ryuu towards Mt. Moon. The Dragonite was flying so fast it only took an hour to arrive back at Kanto from Knot Island.

The two months soon became a few days. Liam had heard from his dad, that he was going to be there. He was still patiently waiting for his Shranui to arrive. besides Volt, Grimm, Chansey, and, Snorunt, all of his Pokemon had achieved the highest forms they can without an item.

In that time, Titania had got over her fear thanks to Shiranui with Jean's help. The Alakazam teleported Shiranui to the top of the Indigo Plateau. "Thanks Jean," said Shiranui, "Return!"

Trainers began to gather. Liam was walking around in town, wondering if Shiranui had made it back yet.

Shiranui spotted Liam and decided to surprise him. He sent Sapphire out and knelt down to whisper in the Sableye's ear. Sapphire went off and before long, she floated onto Liam's shoulders and covered his eyes from behind.

Liam was surprised by Crystal. Liam did scream out, but he was surprised. "Good to see you again Crystal." Liam said with a smile.

"That's Sapphire," Shiranui corrected, "Long time no see."

"Sorry about that." Liam apologized. "It has been." Liam agreed. "You got a lot of training in?" Liam asked

"All that and a lot more," answered Shiranui, recalling Sapphire.

"Oh, got a message from my dad. He is coming, and so is my nanny, Florence."

"That's good to know," replied Shiranui, "My parents should be here as well."

"I am not sure where they are, but I can tell you that you will recognize Florence by her yellow ribbon." Liam stated.

"Was she a coordinator?" asked Shiranui.

"Nope." Liam replied. Soon enough a woman in a yellow business suit with a yellow ribbon in her hair started to approach the boys, followed by a Blissey that also wore yellow ribbons. "There she is." Liam said with a smile.

"Hello there," greeted Shiranui, "I'm Shiranui Tsukiko a friend of Liam."

The woman looked at him confused. "I'm sorry little boy, you have confused with someone else." She said as she walked by. The Blisssy came up and offered a hand shake to Shiranui.
"You evolved since I saw you last!" Liam said with a smile. "Where's dad?" A man came up expelling that he got stopped by some trainer who was foolish enough to challenge his Alakazam with his Crogunk." He turned to Liam. "I am proud of you son, you collected eight badges and arrived at the Plateau." He turned to Shiranui. "So, your a friend of Liam's?"

"I am," replied Shiranui after shaking Blissey's hand, "The name's Shiranui."

"Nice to meet you Shiranui." Liam's father said. "So tomorrow evening, the battles will begin. Good luck to the both of you." He turned to his son, "I want to see how well you have trained your Pokemon. Lets have a battle, one Pokemon each." Liam accepted his father's challenge. Liam's dad sent out Breloom.

" Breloom, the Mushroom Pokemon. Its short arms stretch when it throws punches and spread poisonous spores in the process. Its technique is equal to that of pro boxers It throws those punches while its foe is hampered by inhaled spores."

"So a grass/fighting type huh?" Liam said aloud. "Then this is my choice." Liam called on Arcanine, who majestic fur shined due to a through brushing the night before.

"So, you have an Arcanine, nice choice." Liam's dad replied. Pokedexes in the crowd scanned both Pokemon as a small crowd gathered.
"There are only a small handful of moves the Breloom can know that will hit Arcanine for super effective damage." Liam said. "Arcanine, start off with Ember!" The Pokemon did as ordered and started firing of small flames.
"Bullet Seed!" Liam's father replied. Breloom began to fire off a barrage of seeds, that negated the small flames.
"Flamethower!" Liam called. He knew that Breloom had the ability effect spore, and was determined to not give it the chance to activate. "Breloom, Leech Seed!" Arcanine was trapped in the seed, which would drain energy and Breloom was hit by the fire attack.

"Will O' Wisp!" Liam ordered. Breloom was burned and the health it would gain by zapping Arcanine and the burn would negate one another. "Stun Spore!" Liam's dad ordered. Arcanine was sprayed with a yellow powder and paralyzed.

"Fire Blast!" Liam called.
"Dynamic Punch!" Lima's father replied. Due to being slowed by the paralyzes, Arcanine did not move first and was confused by the attack. Arcanine was unable to move due to being paralyzed.

Arcanine was looking worse for ware, he would not last much longer. "Flame Charge!" Liam called.
"Mach Punch!" Liam's father commanded. Arcanine was smacked with a fast punch and Arcanine was able to make its attack. Arcanine fell due to the Leech Seed. Liam praised Arcanine for the hard work and his father gave Arcanine a Max Revive after parsing Breloom for the good job.
"I am impressed with you son." He said with a smile. "I look forward to watching your battles."
