Aoba blinked as Dani suddenly rolled away and bared his fangs. He glanced over at Kuro and then started to look between the two as they conversed in front of him. Again, as if he wasn't there. Dani tried to defend his case, and the angel hugged his knees and watched it all. 'Dani was trying to help? Well that's oddly nice of him. . . Even if he says he doesn't care.' The last thing he would've guessed was that he was influencing the demon to care. . . Which was probably the last thing anyway. After all, it appeared that Dani just wanted him to be more fun.
Being pulled into a hug made him a bit sheepish and he pulled away a little. His hands went behind his back and his feet scuffled in the dirt. "I'm fine. . . Really, I am." Even if what Kuro was saying was true, he didn't want to make such a big deal out of it. The two were demons, and with the constant reminder of them not having hearts, he decided not to burden them with being what he assumed was being sappy for them. When Kuro spoke about his grace and showing that having his heart torn wasn't even half the pain, Aoba reached up and put a hand over his heart slowly.
That, he remembered learning about. It wasn't ever put into too much depth considering the angels didn't bother to think any of them would fall- it was rate after all. So hearing that out loud again made Aoba look down again. His eyes closed for a moment and he sighed before looking up at Kuro, returning the smile. It was quick because once more he was looking at the ground again. "Um, yes. That sounds like a good idea. Then, we can worry about food." He pushed his cheeks inward and then smiled a little.
Aoba pushed the sadness away and ran fingers through his hair. "Can I get the turkeys? I think they would be easy enough to gather up. And they're smaller."
