Kole’s mouth was agape in a silent scream while he pointed at the no longer dead person. The dead person was alive and not dead but the mess was still there. At this point Kole’s mind had petered out, given up, gone out for a stiff drink leaving Kole without a single thought in his mind except from one.
“That’s not supposed to happen.” Kole finally wheezed out the phrase.
His mind slowly creaked and clanked back into action forming more questions than ever before, although most of them were simply the same one over and over again, leaving Kole sitting on the ground feeling very overwhelmed and a little bit seasick.
“Army?” Kole murmured as he looked up to the dragon that had descended upon them making him feeling even queasier. “Defeat? What the heck is going on here?” At this point he simply collapsed onto his back hoping that feeling the hard ground would stop him from feeling as if the world was spinning around him. It didn’t unfortunately.
