Eh, well, I don't know how well it was advertised on the main BBC. Although I do know that, over there, it aired on BBC Two, not One. (Also like I said before, it was probably vastly overshadowed by Day of the Doctor.)

Anywho! It might be on Netflix if you try searching for it (probably not under the main Doctor Who episode list, though).

I'm four almost five episodes behind right now on Doctor Who.

Also sorry for not being active. I've been SUPER busy with school work and the musical I'm in. We're a week away from show day and we brought ourselves out of a VERY deep pit.

I understand that completely

Last year, my school put on white christmas and hell week came along and we had to have a rehearsal everyday from 3:15 to around 11 o'clock. And more then half our cast had bronchitis or the flu and most of our tech crew was sick, and our tech director broke his leg the day before tech week started.

I just hope your show's going better then that XD

Edit2: Also in regards to Doctor Who I was gonna say something like "ajsdkfldjskl Capaldi is awesome his episodes are so worth the wait" but then I realized the fandom seems to be really split on it so yeeaaah... I mean every episode seems to have people that love it and people that hate it and they aren't always consistent. Cuz uh... I loved all of them so far but that's just me...

Peter is AMAZING! I've just been way to busy to keep up with the episodes. Also I have no idea why I'm saying sorry, odd habit I guess.

And here's the story, I'm just copy and pasting it because I'm to lazy to type it all out again.

Well my friend, I'll call her Felicity for privacy reasons (kinda like you all call me Books). Well, Felicity and I were walking to rehearsal today for the musical we're in. We were on a dirt road that's a block over from the football field in my town but as we were walking, and just to note we aren't on the road, we were walking on the grass a few feet off of the road, well in my town I'm very disliked by some people older than me. Well one of the people who hate me for no reason was driving down the road (I'm also not trying to be racist here. I have a friend who is Hispanic) drove OFF the road right at me then swerved back onto the road and was LAUGHING at what he did because he almost ran over both Felicity and I. Felicity and I both know who this boy is because he went to school with us in elementary school. Well after that happened Felicity said to me 'Stupid Mexican' and I just started laughing because she was right. I've had problems with this boy before in years past...

So I'd like to point out that Netflix (or at least Netflix DVD rentals) has listed Capaldi's current season as "season 11".

Like, they number the seasons just fine up until that point, and then it's like... what? Where did 11 come from?

I mean even if you counted those half-seasons from Matt Smith's era as individual seasons, that would still only put us at season 10 for Capaldi. (And that's even when you remember to include the 2nd half of season 7, which Netflix for some reason still doesn't have despite the fact that season 8- excuse me, 11 is already available for reserve.)

But they don't count those half seasons individually. It counts up to 5, then 6:1, 6:2, 7:1... and then 11.

And like I can't even dismiss this as them incorrectly matching up the Doctor's number with a season number (which I have seen non-fans do) because that would put us at 12. We just lost 11.

And as much as it would make sense to blame Netflix for this bizarre mistake, I can't help but feel like this is BBC's fault after seeing how badly they fucked up their pay-per-view Doctor Who Youtube channel...

Edit: And the season "11" summary even correctly calls it "season 8", as well as mentioning "Doctor #12" so that theory's out the window. So I have no idea why it says "11" on the pull-down list.

So... I knew based on the previews that this week's Doctor Who episode would be about a heist, but I never would've guessed that the episode is actually simply called "Time Heist".

That just sounds like one of those ridiculous titles that no one put any thought into and because of that, it's amazing. Like "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship".

It's like the writers were just sitting around like "Hey lets make a heist episode. Except this is Doctor Who, which means it needs to be a time heist! Woooooo~" and then they just wrote the episode from there.

I'm so excited for tomorrow.

Clara has finally come into her own, before season 8 she was just bland her "twist" was meh and didn't add anything to her character...Now she finally feels like a proper character

I'm kind of conflicted with Clara. She used to be higher up on my list, but then Deep Breath made me kind of pissed off at her, which knocked her down a few pegs, but now given the events of Listen it feels necessary to bring her back up again... hmm...

It was "Into the Dalek", which, the way it was phrased, kind of made you assume that it was supposed to be metaphorical. I remember being very intrigued as to where they were going with that in the days leading up to that episode. ...And then I started watching it and realized they were being completely literal, which honestly caught me by surprise. o.o So actually I think that title was kind of clever.

As much as I want this to happen, the writers went out of their way to point out that Twelve apparently doesn't want soldiers traveling with him... which seems really odd and out-of-nowhere, frankly. I mean I really wanna know where that came from since he didn't have any such problem before. :/ But yeah it's clear at this point that they aren't gonna just let him hop on board the TARDIS and the Doctor's gonna make a big deal about it, even though it also feels really obvious that he'll become a companion eventually... So my guess is that he's gonna have some episode where he'll have to prove his worth in some way in order to convince the Doctor to let him stay. Not sure how I feel about that.

And then I remembered that all the episode titles for season 8 are on Netflix now, so I'll just post up the titles for everything past Time Heist along with my initial reactions.

"The Caretaker"

This sounds vaguely familiar - like it was a title held by a character we've already met or something. Hmm... Alternatively, since there's reason to believe that season 8 will feature more Time Lords than we normally see in the new series, it is theoretically possible that this is a Time Lord name.

"Kill the Moon"

Well jeez that's a title. For some reason this title makes me think of Dr. Moon from Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. It would be awesome if that's what they're trying to reference, since the whole concept of the library could theoretically tie in to that whole "heaven" thing going on. Also I heard rumors that River Song is making a return this season. If that's true, then it makes sense that this is where she'd show up.

"Mummy on the Orient Express"

I think I'll just toss this one on the pile next to "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" and "Time Heist"...

"Flatline"

Well this got dark again fairly quickly. This season seems to have a very strong life/death theme, I'm noticing...

"In the Forest of the Night"

Given the fact that we're reaching the end of the season, ominously-dark titles are to be expected, I suppose.

"Dark Water"

Same.

"Death in Heaven"

I know they made it kind of obvious that the whole heaven thing was building up towards the season finale, but that doesn't make me any less excited. :3 I actually really wanna see where this goes.
