Braedug caught the chip with a gleam in his eye. He was going to be set for while. He might even be able to afford some modifications for The Scrap Heap. This was a good day, though the package and its contents still hung at the back of his mind.

"Fair enough. I look forward to working with you and your associates Mr. Tin."

"And ripping your sorry ass off while I'm at it" He added in thought.

Braedug clapped Dronas on his arm as he joined the human on his way out. He held up the chip.

"Let's go to the bar, drinks are on me,"

Braedug left the office, and returned to the Hole-in-the-Wall, with Dronas in tow. He approached the bar, and called out to the droid.

"Hey scrap face! Serve me something expensive and in a fancy glass!"

The droid ignored the offensive remark. Reactions was for sentiment beings with emotions. Mixing drinks while serving them was a feat for a six-armed droid like the one bartending. He took the Twi'lek's quick order and mixed up a glass of Devil's Drink, the best drink served in the house, and served it to him. "That'll be 12 credits sir," the droid with a monotone said.

Adoniram heard somebody yell as he approached the bar, upon looking over he'd see the Twi-Lek approaching for "something expensive and in a fancy glass". Now wasn't the time to strike, however. The other man and Drae were both coming in as well. As soon as he'd see Drae clear enough to approach her he'd grab his helmet and hold it under his arm as he stood from the bar. Adoniram approached Drae Tin and tapped her on the shoulder. "Drae, I've got something important to discuss with you."

Standing at the bar with Braedug Dronas grabbed a sip of some more Devil's Whiskey, the stuff was addictive. The area around the bar was busier than he remembered and already he was being squished into a smaller and smaller space. Deciding that it was time to leave when Braedug put away his third or fourth bottle of the Whiskey Dronas leened over into the ear of Drea.

"I'll be back tomorrow I guess, gorgeous. It seems you have work here and my partner is finding it increasingly hard to talk."

He quickly kissed her on the cheek and left her, pushing further out of the cantina until he came to the dark fresh air of the outside. It was a little cold however his jacket did a good enough job in keeping him warm. Looking around he tried to spot a cab or something but all he could see was filth. If only he had his speeder.

Drea looked at the human male wearing armor at the bar. It was out of place but not uncommon for this part of town. "I'd say soldier, but you strike me more of a hunter's type. What can I do for you? I hope you won't be bringing any trouble to my club?"

Adoniram smiled a devilish smile when she looked at him. "No ma'am. And you're right, I'm a hunter. I've got some questions about a target I was hoping you might be able to answer for me. What do you say I buy you a drink and we talk it over? Or maybe just head backstage for a few. It's pretty important and I can pay for my information, provided it's good."

"Why don't you buy us some drinks, and I'll hear you out in one of these booths," she said as she gracefully walked over to one of the VIP private booths and sat down. It was a particular booth reserved strictly for the club owner and manager.

Adoniram smiled and nodded. He looked over to the bar and waited a moment for the droid to turn his way. He held up two fingers to signal two drinks, and then pointed to the Booth he would be sitting at. Adoniram then moved through the dancers and toward the private booth where he scooted in across from Drae Tin. His armor clanked together, and tapped the table as he adjusted himself; he placed his helmet to his left and then sat up straight, looking over at Drae.

"Hear me out on this before you interrupt, it's important. Those men you were with have substantial bounties on their heads. Now the fact that you brought them backstage and they came out alive must mean you've struck some deal with them, probably to clear their bounties off. If I'm not mistaken, there's a holoboard around the city with Molech's name on it. The thing I don't understand is that he's got a lesser bounty on him than both of those men, so why pay off theirs and not his own? I'm assuming it has something to do with the deathsticks, he must think he'll have a new one on him too soon to worry about paying it off."

As the drinks arrived Adoniram plucked up his shot glass and swallowed it. "They smuggling for you now?" he asked.

Drea took a shot before answering the hunter's questions. "Molech is wanted by Calrissian and the leaders of Bespin for a list of crimes. Calrissian just earned his title and the bounty he posted is out of his own pocket, but I think the bounty on him has gone up some due to the fact Molech's deathsticks caused 20 OD cases last week and his organization is spreading. Little to no one knows who he is or where he is hiding. Now those men, you were after are no longer wanted men but I'm afraid you don't know what you're dealing with here. Molech has been known to deal with threats in unpleasant ways."

Adoniram leaned back in the booth. "Sweetheart I haven't made any threats yet." The Hunter pulled out his bounty-tester and entered the database with a practiced hand. "There is no way that you have already transferred the credits to the hutt that wants those guys. You just came out of the back, I tested them an hour before you went backstage and they had the biggest bounties on Cloud City on their heads. Now I've got a proposition for you that I think can make both of us very happy. They're worth more money than all of the people here combined," Adoniram pointed out to the crowd as he said it. "There's no way you're clearing their names unless it's profitable for you and for Molech. Here's what I say. Hold off on sending the creds in and let me travel with them under your 'command'. I'll ensure that your things are smuggled properly and then when it's all clear I'll take them in myself and get the money. You get your sticks delivered and I'll give you an extra five thousand credits on top of it off of each of their bounties. We'll both make out big and I'm willing to do all of the work."

Adoniram closed his bounty tracker and pocketed it. "What do you say, sweetheart? They can't be worth that much to you."

She mulled over the proposition. "I'll be right back, I'll pass on this offer before making any quick decisions." She walked off toward the backstage doors.

It wasn't long before she returned. "Their debts have not been paid... but I'm afraid you have things confused. They aren't smuggling drugs, we already have a large smuggling ring. No, we are smuggling arms into Cloud City, you see Molech has a hostile take over in mind for this city. Molech cares not for the two you seek, but only may you have them after they make the drop off. Molech wants ten thousand, we will give you a job and set you up with them, you ensure the job is complete, then you can have your targets," she said with a fiendish grin.

Adoniram stood up from the booth and smiled. "Understood. I'll be checking my bounty tracker every couple hours, so don't try to double cross me and pay off the bounties while I'm not looking. Would you mind giving me some form of documentation to present to them so they know to trust me?" Adoniram asked as he slid his helmet back over his head and turned the audio receptors on. "I'll be out of your hair."

Adoniram paid little attention to the fact that she'd mentioned Molech planning a takeover, he didn't care. He'd be out of Cloud City never to return as soon as possible and then Molech could have his skies and floating city. Adoniram had other plans in mind, plans involving a lot of sand and some old friends.

Having finally found a cab Dronas was now speeding through cloud city on the way back to his apartment, feeling safe in the knowledge his debts with the Hutts had been paid off. As he finally arrived at his apartment he paid the cabby and walked through the main entrance. His building was pretty poor. White plasteel was cracking in the corners and there was always the faint smell of urine in the air. However his floor wasn't to bad and the smells stopped at the door. It was home. Having climbed the two flights of stairs Dronas was about to round a corner when he heard muttering. Stopping he listened carefully but could hear nothing. Then a muffled voice, clearly trying to be quiet.

"Just spoke to the boss, Khal's bounty was supposed to get paid off tonight, we could have gone home. Then the wiseguy who was paying sent the details wrong and the payments haven't come through yet. Been told there is no killing him what so ever so you shits have gotta' be extra careful, got it?"

That was enough for Dronas. he needed to be out of this building five minutes ago. Stepping slowly backwards he turned and used all his might not to run back the way he came. Instead he walked downstairs slowly. In the entrance again he knocked on the owners door and waited. A slimy snot ball of a man opened. One eye welded shut with infection.

"What you want?"

His grasp of the language was immense.

"I need my apartment sold. Now. Send the credits to this account and enjoy the rest of your life."

Scribbling down his fake account number he walked off into the night again. The fake account would shoot the credits to over 50 other accounts and withdraw them in over 70 different banks. Finally it would be spent on a new speeder which would then be immediately returned and that money would then be sent to his actual private account. A paper trail always led to a target and he was very wary. Finding another cab he simply asked to go to a small cheap hotel. Close to here he was and so the cabby complied. paying again he walked into the hotel and spoke to the receptionist.

"1 room for a night, cheapest you have would be great."

The receptionist placed a key on the desk and a bill in Dronas' hand. Flashing the receptionist a one hundred credit chip she pulled away all of the paperwork she had been getting out and wished him a good stay. The room was dark and shitty. Probably never cleaned and certainly worse than his apartment but it was home for a night. After this job then he could get the good stuff.

"Come back tomorrow that's when the others will return for their job you will be introduced without the need for documentation. Have a good night, hunter. I have a club to run," she said as she stood up and returned to the bar.

Braedug was drunk. Not too drunk that he couldn't walk home safely, but too drunk to notice the two armed men following him from the bar. He made his way back to the docking bay without trouble, and jabbed the panel to open the bay doors. Trudging slowly towards his ship, Braedug finally noticed the sound of footsteps behind him. He stopped abruptly, and the footsteps behind him stopped a split second later. He heard one of his pursuers hushing his companion.

Braedug wasn't having any of that. He dashed for the Scrap Heap, and tromped up the boarding ramp. A voice from behind him called out.

"Stop!"

"Piss off!"

Braedug slammed the panel at the end of the ramp. The panel raised up with a hiss, sealing off the two strangers. They started banging on the hull and yelling, but Breadug was already running for one of the turrets. He slid down the ladder and took the controls. With the flick of a switch, the turret came to life. He swung it around to point it at the two intruders. A humanoid fully clad in cheap armor, and an Ithorian. They both stared at the laser cannon before fleeing comically down the hallway and out of the bay doors.

Braedug fished his comlink from one of his jacket pocket, and spoke into it.

"Hey mercenary guy who boned Sae Tin's sister, armed guys came after me, maybe after you too. Be careful,"

Braedug waited several seconds for a response, but got nothing. He then realized it wasn't even on. Still drunk.

Adoniram walked confidently out of the bar with his helmet below his arm and out into the streets. He saw a cabby getting into his car and he let out a whistle so the man would know to hold up for him. Once he reached the car he got in and said "Eight-twenty-six." before silently awaiting his arrival at his apartment. He stepped out and flipped a fifty credit chip into the front seat "See you later, Chief." he said as he approached his door and swiped his keycard which caused the door to slide open. As he stepped in he approached his closet and began to loosen the buckles of his armor to allow for him to slide it off and hang it up. He unzipped his mesh suit and folded it lazily to toss into the bottom of the little space. He slid on a loose brown shirt and a set of shaggy trousers before approaching the desk in the far corner of the room.

Adoniram kept his helmet with him, setting it on the table next to his bounty tracker before sitting down and scooting in. He opened up the database of his bounty tracker and scrolled through until he found his two new targets, which he then dragged to a tab in the top labeled 'Pending' so he didn't have to scroll through the names again just to find them before setting the device to the side. He then opened a drawer to his right and pulled out a welding tool, a screwdriver, and a multi-tool. He sat there for over an hour just fiddling with his helmet, trying to get the optics to come back on. The most Adoniram was capable of doing was getting the visor to light up again, though the heads up display and other information or vision-adjustments he'd made previously still didn't show up. "Whatever..." Adoniram mumbled to himself before standing up and falling into his bed. A few moments later he was asleep.

Braedug slowly came to consciousness, still seated inside the ventral turret. He yawned, and stretched his aching back. He climbed back into the main body of the Scrape Heap. It took Braedug a couple of minutes to fully remember all the events of the previous night. Braedug sighed, and searched around for the comlink. Braedug pulled it from one of his pockets, and flicked it on.

"Hey Dronas, it's Braedug, meet me at my ship. We need to talk,"

The sounds of the comlink roused Dronas from his slumber and he rolled over to it, placed on his side table. The sound of Braedug's voice came through as he lifted it to his ear. The message was short and sweet. Dronas could deal with that this morning. Quickly climbing into his combat armour he donned his duster and slid on his weapons. The blaster was safely in his holster and his vibrosword was now packed neatly against his back. As prepared as he could ever be.

Stepping out of his room he wandered downstairs and smiled at the receptionist who hadn't seemed to have changed at all. The outside was fresh and crisp and he loved it. All his senses seemed to sharpen up and he was fully awake. Hailing another cab he headed to to the landing bay that Braedug had sent him. The journey was a short one and he paid the man with a generous tip. He was in a good mood with this new job and Braedug can't have had too much bad to say. As he arrived he looked the ship over. It looked used but serviceable, definitely a smugglers ship. Well enough that it would get out of most sticky situations but rough enough not to get bothered. As he stepped up to the ship he knocked on the hull and spoke into his communicator.

"She looks like a piece of shit, let me in." His voice was gruff but he was joking, the ship would do.

"There's a reason she has the name 'Scrap Heap', but she gets the job done,"

Braedug activated the ramp, and opened his ship. He smiled at his new partner, and waved him inside.

"Tell me Dronas, have you had any trouble with unwanted hangers on lately?

Dronas smiled, he could at least take a joke. Walking in he followed Braedug into the ship.

"Unwanted hangers? No not really, bounty hunters outside my apartment but thats only because I don't think the credits have cleared yet. Admittedly I haven't been confronted or looking very hard for them in the past few hours."

Dronas looked at Braedug.

"Why? Did something happen?"
