Brief Bio: Audrey used to be the loud, nosy little girl with the curly blonde hair and the blue gingham dress that all the villagers knew about. It was fair to say she wasn't very popular, but nobody would say she was anything other than ordinary. Common. Mundane. She lived with her mom and dad in a bungalow, on the outskirts of the village. She wasn't happy. She knew her life was missing some excitement.
One day, she was walking through the village, past the red house. It was called that because the bricks were red. And the door was always locked. Today, the door wasn't locked. Her curiosity got the better of her. She entered the red house. She could hear voices from the next room. Listening to them, they talked of a plan to break into the cottage past the edge of town, and steal the goods. She heard all the details of the plan. It sounded easy! There were ruins of an old farmhouse close to where Audrey lived. She used to climb it for fun, despite the dangers. Breaking into a house didn't sound harder than that. All she needed was tools, which were just laid out on the table in the room she was in. They may has well have been gift wrapped with a note begging her to take them. She took them, and ran. She could hear the angry voices behind her once she was down the road. She hid. Her heart was pumping. This...this was great! What a rush!
She approached the cottage later in the day. She hid in a bush and waited until the residents left. The mansion was owned by three anthropomorphic bears, with a reputation of mauling salesmen to death, so the bears don't get a lot of social calls. As a result, Audrey knew nothing about them. Once the coast was clear, the ran up to the door, picked the lock, and entered. She looked around. The first thing she noticed was three bowls of porridge on the table. Where would a bear hide gold? The larder? No. Why did she even consider that? She was hungry... She took a taste of the first bowl. Ouch! Too hot! Never mind. She had a job to do. Food could wait until she had enough gold to fill a pantry.
She found the gold after searching the whole house. It was underneath the smallest bed in the bedroom, which was ridiculously comfy. She'd have stolen the bed too if she had a partner to carry it out. She was about to head back downstairs when she heard the door open. The bears were back, and judging by their growls, they had noticed that the lock was picked. She couldn't get out that way. She went over to the bedroom window, and looked out. All the bears were inside. Now was her chance. She opened the window. There were more voices downstairs.
"What are you looking upstairs for? What kind of thief would break into the house and then fall asleep on a bed?"Eep! She had to get out of there now! She jumped from the window, landed with a roll, and ran with the gold, laughing hysterically. That was the best thing she had ever done! The most fun she had ever had!
That was when she was just the loud, nosy little girl with the curly blonde hair and the blue gingham dress. Now she's an 18 year old professional thief with a reputation known across the land. Now, she is Goldilocks.
