I kick my legs on my seat and look at the landscape. It was going by fast, and there were a lot of trees, and I felt the temperature slowly declining. I smile and think about the shining moon in the night, and close my eyes. Soon I doze off and start snoring loudly.

Max drummed her fingers lightly against the window let out a shaky sigh. She was nervous about this new town. Yeah, she had moved before, but back in Texas she had been staying with someone she knew. Here, though, she was on her own. Max shook her head and gazed around the train. She was going to be alright. The town was going to be a fresh start and everyone was going to be friendly...hopefully.
She smiled slightly as she heard someone snoring and looked around at the passengers on the train. She cleared her throat quietly and drummed on the window a bit faster. "Real peaceful night, huh?" she said.

I continue sleeping, and dreaming.

I, sitting sideways in my chair, reply to the voice. "It really is." "Hey, mind if I sit across from you?" I ask, sitting up, and grabbing hold of the bar on the top of the train as I wobble over to your seat and sit down across from you. I sit down and the seat makes a 'WHUMPH' and dust spews out of a tear. I look at it and snicker, and then look at you. "Hey, my name's Rover. What's yours?"

Sitting peacefully inside the train, Laura happens to be writing a journal on the events that happened thus far for her. However...she hasn't even gotten to write about her train trip here... why? "C'mon, I know I can write those letters a lot neater than that..." she mumbles to herself as she erases the word and tries to write it again, only to be displeased with it. It must be a hard life for her if she can't even write without being so picky on how her handwriting is.

"Oh, well I'm going down to L.A. I missed the stop there, so now I'm waiting for the train to turn around and go back to L.A." I say. I look around the cabin. So many interesting characters. "Er... why don't all of you come here, and we can all chat," I say, looking around.
I wake up to something loud, and hear it say 'Come here, and we can all chat.' I sit up and scratch my head, fix my oily hair, and look at the thing that was talking. I gasp and yell "What IS that?!" as I retreat behind my seat. I take another look at it, and it was looking at me with a sad or hurt look. I lay down again, and peek at the thing a couple more times.

Her head turning as she saw a girl and a man, returning her focus back towards the seat tat is infront of her. Her head turned towards a girl, seemingly doodling in her book or writing in it. She observed the passengers, seemingly having 'unique' looks, fascinating it was. Sighed as it seemed embarassing to wear a sakura-like kimino in public. She didn't mind at all.

Max blinked in surprise at the boy hiding behind the seat. Honestly, she was just as bewildered when she first saw Rover, but he was friendly and Max didn't want to say anything about his looks. It would've been rude and she just didn't like rudeness.

"I know, but it's a freak!" I say, comping up from out of the seat. "Look at it! It's like a freakish animal-human thing! It'll probably get stabbed or shot in L.A!"

Looked back..hearing the commotion, seeing something odd..but really cute..it was human but very animal like. Smiling she stood,seeing that the current room had only 6 passengers in it. Walking towards the three she sat down behind the seat of the woman, " Konnichiwa (hello) " she said..lightly and faintly. Her voice seemed smooth and soothing, saying it as if it was in a singing tone. Smiling she would look to 'Rover' as she heard..the name only a few times.

Max patted Rover's shoulders gently and looked at the other passengers for help. "There, there..." she said in a comforting voice. He doesn't know what he's talking about!"

I think about what I said and gulp. "Um... sorry," I say in a solemn voice.
I wipe my eyes and greet this new woman with a new, sunny disposition, as if the previous moment didn't happen, even though I knew it did, and it was still evident in my eyes.
