I might not be the ideal person to give advice on this, but it is in accordance with Stephen King's thoughts on the matter, and he seems to know what he's doing. Writer's block stems from the attitude someone has towards the 'art' they are practicing. If you treat it as this magical thing, you'll never get anywhere with it. King says that writing (any art according to me) is more of a craftsmanship. It's a job, like any other profession. You get better at it by doing it, and the more you do it, the more 'inspiration' you will gather. My best advice for you is to write a combat post for Roy. Forget about everything else, just get to writing. Combat posts are easy, as they don't have to include much character development or reflections. I write even when I don't want to or when the 'muse' isn't there. The worst part is to overcome the pride that pokes at you with a stick, but I've learned to accept that there are bad days and there are good days. You should also rejoice in the fact that your worst writing is someone else's best writing.

However, if the issue is interest in the roleplay, then it's entirely different and I don't recommend that you push yourself to stay. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I don't hold grudges, so anyone is free to leave and still be on good terms with me. The same applies for those who disappeared.

I'll do just that, then. I appreciate the advice, Prisk, it really helps. I have issues with self-confidence, so writer's block is more me fighting with how other's will percieve my writing, whether its' the short-term, "Is this post any good?" or the long term, "Am I even getting anywhere with this/am I doing this right?" type of deal for me. It usually hits in minuscule amounts, but if I let it get the best of me, then it'll end up bleeding into other RPs and I'm trying to keep myself from looking too harshly on anything else. So, I'm going to force a post out of me and if it's crap, then it's crap, and if it's not, then I'll be better for it. :)

On that note, I'm going to try and give Roy another ability or two, if that's okay. I wasn't in the mindset to do it a few weeks ago, but I'm combat wise, I'm really wanting Roy to fulfill a very supporting role for the team, regardless of what exactly that is, so I'm going to try and get his abilities to reflect that. If it needs a post ICly, I can always run back through the timeline to do that, but I wanted your permission first, Prisk. I'll probably change a few things in his current abilities to fit with the theme better, and add one or two depending on the maximum.

Also, Rockette, did anyone tell you how fantastic you are? Glorious. You owe me a new mind 'cause mine's blown to smithereens. Kthxbai. Also, quick question for you Rockette: I've noticed there's always text in the banners you do and because I like to know every little detail about pieces of art or cinema, I was just wondering what each of those pieces of text are for the ones that are too small to read. :o If that's not any hassle to you.

A lot of the times, when I miss a post deadline I set for myself, it's always me succumbing to the urge to simply not write because 'I dun wanna'. Right now, that's no so much for Spirits as it is for some of my other RPs, even though I'm sure writing for them will help me write for this. >_> I'll need to do that, but I wanna get something for Spirits first before I run off to write for anything else. I'm determined to and I'll beat myself over the head if I don't during my two days off this week.

It's quite alright, Six. Self-confidence is a tricky thing, but it's the freedom of doubt and belief in your own abilities in contrast to what other people think about you. But, remember that I'm always here for you, for all of you, to discuss these things and help you where I can, so just drop me a message if that feels better. It comes with the Prisk-Premium package when I'm the GM! My expensive education is, after all, supposed to instruct me how to help people better themselves and learn difficult things.

Go ahead and add/change whatever abilities you want for Roy. You don't have to write a timeline for it now, focus on the combat post and getting your consistency up and running. You can always go back later, whenever, and write that timeline if feel that strongly about it.

Of course there are instances in which you simply 'don't want to', but part of being an adult is to fight through those moments! There are days, let me tell you, when I have no desire to work out, but I do it because I know that I will benefit from it more by doing it than not doing it, so I drag my ass down to the gym and do those tedious squats even if I have to scream while doing it and tell every creep down there, whom think they're so discreet and smooth, to fuck off.

I thought the quote fit nicely, mainly because what the characters seem to know is not ever what it seems, same concept applies to all the spirits and then Sam's "death".

Most of the texts are tiny and minuscule just to add a little something extra without taking away from the main text. Mostly used in signatures and tags but I like the way they look in banners as well. Some of the texts though can be read just enough, where as some are entirely too small to make out. But I try to match what texts I have to the characters, like for Roy, I gave him: "is holding on forever and ever". Mainly because he just lost Thael and that he'll move on from it gradually [painfully maybe] but that doesn't mean he can't hold on for the "could be's" and whatnot. I thought it fit.

So that's another for a more bright coloured banner.
Will wait on more votes or just make the final decision myself.

Also, I think it's more the shades of blue I don't like when they stand individually, blended well enough in like your first photo, I'm more inclined to let it slide.

I've updated the map, finally. Regions are now color-coded. I've added regions for Anatolia, and places that have been mentioned in the story thus far. If I've missed some location that you've mentioned in a post, please let me know and tell me where they should be so that I can add them!

So here we come to the big reveal. I expect some of the choices might seem obvious to some of you. Others might seem more obtuse. What follows is a list of each character, their song selection, and then, as an added twist, a tentative scene title for the moment in the character's life over which the motif would play.

Perhaps I was not clear enough on this prospect, in part intentionally, but not every song is meant to be related to the characters exact moment and method of demise. Rather, each is emblematic of their final ends. Some are meant to be big, dramatic, sacrificial ends, like the man for whom the music minute was named, for others, more low key and introspective, hypothetical moments were inspired.

But I digress, in no particular order...

Lol, Ten, I love how you think Roy would act about his own death. It doesn't seem like a, "I'm facing my own demise," song, but a, "I wanna die," reflective kinda song. It's sad that I made Roy seem so recklessly suicidal, but the song really fits him and I love it. <3The message of the song seems very blatant, especially when paired with the video and I think that fits who Roy is very well. I would put my words down in this post, but I think my ADHD/ADD (I dunno, one of those two; I just know I'm feeling jittery and very unfocused) is acting up and I can't seem to put the words to what I'm thinking of and it's aggravating, so I'm leaving it that.

Also, currently working on my post and changing up some of Roy's skills. I'm going to send you a change to my limit break, Prisk, to see if you have anything you want to change or if you want to deny that change preemptively because I don't think you said anything about being able to change it. I've just somehow thought of a better limit break than a better skill substitute, lol. I was thinking of omitting his last ability 'cause it just seems so convoluted and pretentious for a regular ability and fitting in something that fits his theme a lot better. >_<

@Six, you're mostly good on the spirits. It's just the last one and how 'imperil' works. For example, to make something weak against Earth, you must inflict it with Imperil first and then use a spirit that causes Earth-whatever. So, it's not an instant weakness to an element of choice. Yes, you can change your limit break, or could in junction with spirit changes at the tree of life. Come to think of it, I need to do this for Olivia.

@JJ, I can add it. Just point out roughly where on the map it should be.

Yay :D Uh, it’s the short, stocky sideways T shaped peninsula sticking out southwest of Tyria that is just west of the large lake. The land farthest to the west in Tyria. Kameeraska’s capital city is Alderdyfi and you can place that wherever.

It's crappy and terrible (made gorgeous by the wonderful Rockette's art <3 <3 <3 that's really all it has going for it) but it's there and it's in your face. Nom nom nom. I imagine he suffered more damage than the one that blob did to him, but I forgot to put that in there or detail it because terrible post is terrible. Feel free to raise his stagger more for his recklessness if you wish, Prisk. :o
