The benefactor sometimes walked the streets looking for people like him. People who had no home because they were different. When he found them he brought them to the orphanage he had built on the outskirts of town. Today he was bringing a blind girl to the orphanage. The housekeeper was going to upset at having such a challeging guessed, but the benefactor liked to keep the housekeeper on her toes. Besides the girl was perfectly capable of taking care of herself for the most part. The benefactor lead the girl into the orphanage.

Zed lied limply in his bed, long white Mohawk lying across his pillow like spilled silver. His odd eyes, constantly glowing a light purple, twinkled momentarily, before his bed began rising off of the floor. The psychic yawned lazily as he mentally made his bed float around the rather large room. It's been like this 24/7, as he couldn't sleep due to his constantly energized mind, so all he could do was train and sharpen his mental aptitude.

"Hm...?" he whispered, getting a feel of a new mind entering the premises. Zed floated off of his bed, looking out of his circular window, and out into the world. He could see The Benefactor leading a girl into the orphanage's entrance. Shrugging, he forced his bed onto the ground. "Not my problem." Zed sat on the bed once again, a massive book flying from a shelf in the corner, and landing on his lap. He quietly began reading the tiny text.

Vindle woke up from the sunlight beaming in his eyes. Slowly sitting up, he looked where he always looked first thing in the morning: at his weapons to see if they were still there. Seeing them all, he plopped back into bed, knowing he had to get up sooner or later. "Ugh... I'm hungry but I don't feel like getting up..." Vindle muttered.

Meanwhile, the room next to Vindle's, Rosie has been awake for a while. She read a book while humming to herself. "Hmm, I wonder if anyone else is awake." she said to herself. Running out into the hall, Rosie looked around curiously.

Adrian's eyes slowly lulled open, he let out a small audible hum as he began to stir. His small frame not not making much headway as he half sleepily tried to rise from under his many covers, the decent pile of thick blankets laid atop him had been placed there overnight, half of them while he was asleep. It wasn't exactly cold around here, he just...couldn't stop shivering. He made the same sound once more as he tried to lift the mass of warmth off of himself. The mountain of comfort giving him a good struggle before he sat up, half tired from just waking, half from wrestling the covers. He blinked hard a few times to shake the sleep from his eyes. His pale hair frayed and awkward like a bundle of platinum straw, he slowly slumped off of the bed until he landed shakily on his feet, another "mmf..." and he yawned softly. Time to start another day he supposed...

He was relatively new to this place, and he wasn't exactly comfortable quite yet, friends weren't something he found and sickness was something he still couldn't escape. One thing he appreciated around here was the care, the people who took him and the others in seemed to actually care...or at leas that's what Adrian thought so far.

He began walking towards the door, it being much taller, and perhaps heavier then him. He placed both hands against it and pushed with all his weight against it. His feet slipping as he tried to progress, he slowly forced his passage into the hall. He wasn't exactly sure of what to be doing yet, perhaps...finding someone to tell him such, would be a good start...He began to wander the large hallways, the ones which where still alien to him.

Addie was happy to finally be at the orphanage. While she couldn't see, she could smell and hear everything. It was wonderful. Too shy to speak out, or say anything, Addie kept to herself. She was happy to finally be at a new 'home'. Home. The word felt weird as she thought it. She tried to shrug off the feeling, but she couldn't. Addie felt confident she would be able to make it around the orphanage partially by herself, if not, she could just stay in one area, and learn that area, thoroughly. She tried to conceal a grin as they entered, but she couldn't as hard as she tried.

The housekeeper sighed as she looked at the girl the benefactor brought her. It wasn't that she minded being challenged but it was hard to teach the blind. She was alone when it came to meeting the needs of the orphans here. She guided the girl into the dinning room and rang the bell calling all the children to breakfast.

The bell scared Vindle with him falling out of bed in return. Muttering a curse word, he sleepily walked downstairs.
"Oh? Who's this?" Vindle said, looking at the blind girl.

"Whee! Breakfast!" Rosie said, running into the dining room.

Zed frowned, abruptly closing his book at the loud ringing of the 'food bell'. Spending his life here, practicing his abilities in the safety of his isolated room, he had gotten used to almost everything about the orphanage. The halls, the patrons, and the over-all building. And so, he knew every secret passageway that dotted around his own room. Sliding to his feet, the Psychic teen slid open his door and floated through the empty halls lazily. He didn't feel like wearing his glasses today, so the only thing he had on was ripped white jeans, no shoes, and a zipped white hoodie. He drifted downstairs, and slipped through a small opening, appearing inside of the 'dining hall'.

Without a word, he slipped into his seat, waiting patiently for the others to arrive. The small amount of cutlery around him began to levitate around, bending into odd positions and circulating around the room. He gave a nod of acknowledgement to the children around him.

Adrian followed the sound of a bell, this was one thing he seemed to have gotten used to. The food call.

He stumbled around the halls until he managed his way into the dining room. He looked, now wide eyed, at all the floating silverware, this, he was not so much used to.

He swallowed back a knot of nervousness, and went to take a seat, naturally sitting as far away as possible from the psychic boy, he wanted to avoid staring but, he found his eyes drifting towards him anyways. He wasn't...scared, well, perhaps he was, but he didn't think the boy would mean to do anything bad, it just seemed like it could easily go that way...He looked at what the other kid was wearing, and he looked down to his own clothing, his all white sleeping clothes, consisting of shorts, socks and a shirt, all a size or two too big. He sighed inwardly and shrunk back even farther into his seat, he wasn't hungry and was only here to keep the housekeeper from worrying... He felt uncomfortable in his seat, and didn't want to be in this room, he anted to be...perhaps anywhere else.

"Thank you." Addie managed to mutter out, gratefully, as she reached out, finding her seat. She was able to sit down, by herself. She could hear as others sat down around her, and could smell food being cooked. Addie was so excited to be here, and the grin still held true on her face. Addie sat very prim, and proper, for someone who was blind, at the table. She eagerly awaited to be served, being as famished as she was.

"Oh, hey, um, what's your name?" Vindle asked Addie, deciding to sit next to her. He wasn't sure himself, but it looked like something wasn't right with the girl. Dont tell me... she's blind? he thought.

"I will introduce everyone once everyone is seated." The housekeeper interrupted.

Addie opened her mouth to reply to the Vindle, but stopped as the housekeeper interrupted. She instead looked in the direction of the voice, and gave a faint smile, showing her warmness. She appreciated being talked to. After a moment, Addie turned her head back forward. "My name's Addie." She whispered as low as possible, while still making it loud enough for Vindle to make out.

"If you aren't going to listen you can leave." The housekeeper snapped. "I will not have you all spending breakfast introducing each other. We will do it all at once."

Zed glanced over at the housekeeper, eyes briefly glowing an ominous purple. "Snapping at the child isn't the right way to go about it." he intervened quietly, although that's all he said before closing his eyes once more. The silverware that floated around the room suddenly crunched into tiny balls, before straightening out perfectly and going back to their original positions. He has always had a soft spot for those younger than him, even if only by a few years, and disliked it when he felt if they were wrongly snapped at or chastised. However, making big arguments and commotions wasn't his forte, and he often just said one line before returning to his inner-meditation.

"Hello, Addie." He said the last part in the girl's mind, making sure that his voice only softly drifted through her mind before disappearing. He didn't want to cause her discomfort, after all.

Addie didn't shake when she heard the voice in her head, but she was definitely surprised, and it slightly showed on her face. She would of said something, but the keeper might snap at her, again. Having no idea where it came from, Addie simply held a smile on her face, hoping the person nice enough to say hello to her could see her appreciation. Addie kept still, besides that, and kept silent. She still hurt a little on the inside from the snap from the housekeeper. She wasn't used to such sharp rules, and sharper rulers. She would have to learn to adjust, though.

Vindle wanted to introduce himself to Addie, and more so wanted to snap at the housekeeper, but decided to keep things peaceful. He did feel bad not replying to Addie, though, so went ahead and whispered, "I'm Vindle, nice to meet you, Addie."

Rosie on the other hand, went another way.
"Huuuuuh? What's got you all twerked up?" she snapped at the housekeeper.

"Zed we have had this conversation before. You either cooperate or you go back to the basement. It makes no difference to me. As far the rest of you, you will follow the rules or you will leave. What I say goes. I am the only here so I front have time for those who do not want to be here. My job is to get you ready for the real world." the housekeeper announced

"So, when is introduction time on your watch?" Vindle said to the housekeeper.

Rosie tried very hard not to snap at the housekeeper again, mumbling things under her breath.
